ROMAN’S POV

We were all gathered in my house.

Are you sure be asked the twins again. 

“Yes dad,” Kathleen groaned out. “We will be careful ok?”

“Ok.” I say, finally agreeing.

My mum, my dad, Anthony, Rachel and yes, even Sheila was gathered at my house.

Finally, everyone would witness what we had been trying to hide about the twins.

I was a bit scared, I don’t know who to trust, and with Emily kidnapped, I don’t want this lunatics to focus on my children, especially if they learnt what they were capable of.

I closed my eyes, breathing out deeply. 

But I really needed to find Emily. My wolf was going crazy.

I tried to find our bond, holding on to it tight. Then I felt the twins place their hands on me.

I opened my eyes, stumbling at the sight of my love and mate, laying on a bed, looking sick.

I moved closer, watching as the twins tried to get to her, but something was blocking them.

But I was even more shocked as the door opened, and Antonio walked inside.

He changed the IV drip connected to Emily hand.

“I can’t reach her.” Kathleen says, coming to stand beside me.

“Whatever he is giving her, is causing a mental block. We will have to break through it for a moment.”

“What does that mean?”

“It means it’s going to be hella painful for the both of you. But no matter what, do not let go of the bond.” Andrew told me.

I nodded my head, crouching down beside Emily, taking in her injuries.

I frowned, wondering why they weren’t healing?

“It’s the plant, it’s stopping her from healing.” Kathleen says softly, staring down at her mother.

“How do you know all these?” I asked.

“We just do.” They both answered simultaneously.

Antonio stared at Emily’s sleeping form for a bit, before leaving.

I knew it, I knew Alpha George was behind this. It was suspicious how we were attacked just after leaving his pack.

“Are you ready?” Andrew whispered, kneeling down beside Emily.

“Yes, I am ready.” I told him, closing my eyes. My energy focused on our bond.

Kathleen also knelt down beside Emily, and together they placed their hands on her head.

Everything was quiet for a moment, before their eyes glowed white. Completely white.

I froze, almost letting go of the bond from shock.

Focus. Kathleen snapped, her voice deeper.

I closed my eyes, pushing my energy towards our bond.

Emily screamed out, and I screamed too, holding my head as pain nearly split my head into two.

I fell down on my knees, screaming loudly. As blood dripped down my nose.

“Emily…..,” I screamed through out mind link. “Please, can you hear me?”

“Roman…., where are you?” she answers weakly.

“I am right here, you have to fight, push back your energy.”

I could feel her bond pulsating weakly, and I grabbed onto it, pushing my own energy back.

Emily starts screaming loudly again, her body thrashing widely. Black blood was pouring out from her eyes.

She screams again, her hands elongating into long hairy hands with thick sharp claws.

Antonio rushed into the room, wide eyed and scared as Emily’s body transformed slowly.

Her jaw snapped open, sharp canines coming out as the normal ones retreated back.

She screamed again, falling to the floor as her back and legs stretched out.

Finally she stood tall now, her whit wolf with red streaks. She growled low, her red eyes focused on Antonio.

“Emily…, where are you?” I called out through our mind link.

“I don’t know, i didn’t see where they brought me too.”

“Kathleen and Andrew are here, we can see you.”

Emily turned her head to the side.

She growled as Antonio raised his gun up, and with a loud snarl, she lunged at him, tearing his hands out of his body.

“Don’t kill him I scream out. We still need to find out where you are,” I say.

She stopped, growling at Antonio.

“It’s time, we have awaken her spirit and wolf. We can leave now, our bodies need to rest.” Kathleen told me.

“ Be safe Emily” I whisper, before being dragged back to the pack.

I was bleeding from my nose when I woke up, Kathleen and Andrew still slumped on top of me.

Everyone was staring at us, silent, very silent.

“What was that…?” My dad breathed out.

We will talk about all these, but they need to rest.

Anthony nodded, picking up Andrew, he laid them side by side on the living room floor.

“What did you manage to find?” Rachel asked.

“I saw Emily, being held by that fucker, Antonio, beta of the Black Rivers pack.”

“What?” Anthony exclaims. “Why would he kidnap Emily?”

“That is something we need to find out. We need to call Alpha George immediately.”

“And Rachel, anything about that wolfsbane? Because Antonio is injecting it into Emily, like a fucking drip.”

“I have found a way to counter the effect, but it’s still in testing and, you are right, I will perfect it immediately.” Rachel says.

“I still don’t understand it, why would Antonio kidnap Emily.” Anthony asked aloud.

“The question should be is Alpha George a part of it or not, and are they working with Zed?” I say. Standing up a bit.

“You need to lie back down.” Sheila says, coming to push me down gently back on the sofa.

She checked my vitals, before doing the same to the twins.

“She isn’t healing, the wolfsbane seems to be stopping her from healing. But the twins did something, and i could hear her.”

“She attacked Antonio, and I don’t know if he is alive, or working alone.”

“Fuck…..,” i breathe out, as panic clung to my chest, restricting my airway.

“Breath…..,” my mom says softly, running her hands through my hair.

I did as she said, breathing in, and then slowly breathing out.

“We are going to find her,” my mum says softly. 

I nodded my head, hoping so.

Anthony excused himself, calling Alpha George, while I laid there, thinking about everything.

“How about Killian?” I asked Rachel. “Is he still inactive?”

“No, he is on the move, and Castor is steadily behind him. In a few days, we would know their location.”

“What if Antonio is working for Zed?” I asked. “I couldn’t see or tell where they were, but they could be on Zeds ship now.”

It is a probability, which means he could, or he couldn’t.

“I mean, if Antonio isn’t working for Zed, then why else would he kidnap Emily?”
