Chapter 146 CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY SEVEN
EMILY’S POV
Antonio was lucky enough to have survived.
But I had been shot multiple times.
Yea, the fucker had opened the door three days later, and before I could do anything, he shot me three times, on my hand, leg and thankfully the last one missed.
Yesterday, he had called a young man in, a doctor or something of that sort.
The doctor had removed the bullet from my body, including the old one lodged inside my foot.
He wanted me to heal, which means very soon, I would be face to face with Zed.
I groaned, turning on my side. Everything hurt, my head, my back, my legs, my hand. Fuck even my ears, nose, eyes. Every damn thing.
I was pissed off, and to make it worse, I needed to take a shit.
Yea, I have held it in for as long as I could, but right now, it wasn’t working. I had avoided using that toilet at all cost, not with Antonio behind the camera, watching me.
Unfortunately my body wasn’t in agreement. I swallowed my pride and shame, slowly standing up from the bed. I walked towards the toilet, just staring at it.
There was tissue paper, which was good, now I just needed to open the lid and sit down.
I opened it slowly, breathing out, before sitting on the toilet. Immediately my stomach let go, passing out every wasteful dirt it needed to.
I gritted my teeth, facing away from the camera.
As if to make matters worse, Antonio starts laughing loudly.
“Will you look at that….., Alpha Emily Snow Red, taking a shit.” Antonio laughs out.
I grimaced, using my hair to cover my face.
That bastard, I should have killed him when I had the chance.
Now the hard part, cleaning my butt.
Slowly I reached for the tissue, taking the amount I needed, before wiping.
I made sure to wipe out everything, before standing up.
I smelt really bad, I can't even remember the last time I took my shower.
Anyways at least my stomach feels lighter now.
I turned, walking back to my bed.
I coughed loudly, moaning in pain. My stomach was throbbing, the pain making me bend down a bit. I was breathless, almost at the edge of passing out as I coughed loudly.
Finally, the cough subsided, leaving me sweaty, weak and just, so so tired.
Shit.., i breathed out, groaning while I tried to make myself comfortable.
Everything was just unbearable,
The headache, the constant pain, this feeling of dread.
I touched the bandage, muttering different profanities at the wetness I felt.
I somehow had ripped my badly done stitches open.
I turned towards the camera, raising my bloody hands up. Before waving.
“What the hell,” a new voice grumbled out.
I heard rushed footsteps, and seconds later the door was yanked open. The quack doctor walked in, a first aid box in his hands.
“Stay still please so I can have a look at it.” he said calmly, bending down.
He placed the box next to the bed, opening it up. He grabbed a mask and a pair of gloves. Putting them on, before slowly unwrapping the bloodied bandage.
“Fuck, it hurt,” I groaned out
The quack ignored me, grabbing a towel from the box, placing it on my stomach to stop the bleeding.
“Are you really a doctor?” I asked him. “Because how come you couldn’t see an injury like this shut?”
“I did, you must have ripped it open somehow,” the quack says.
“Huh huh.. then do something, unless you want me to bleed out.” I snapped out.
The quack got to work, his hands shaking as he sewed me up.
I took this as my opportunity.
“Where the fuck are we even?” I asked, feigning disinterest.
“Umm, East, close to the Edmund river.” He told me.
“Whatever.” I say, storing that information.
“What’s taking so long?” I asked, trying to peep at what he was doing.
“It’s not an easy thing, this is not the same as patching up a torn cloth, it takes time and precision.” the quack mumbles out.
“I knew you weren’t a doctor. Fucking Antonio.” I grumble out.
“This isn’t a hospital," he snapped at me, finally losing his patience. “Without proper equipment, my skills are only good enough to keep you alive until you are taken to a hospital. So be happy you are what you are, if not you would be long dead. Whatever piece of metal that had lodged itself inside your stomach was forcefully dragged out. You are lucky you mixed vital organs. But still, and then the bullet would.”
I turned away from him, biting my lips.
The quack closed his eyes, letting out slow breath.
After that he got to work, and after he was done, he wrapped up all my injuries in a new bandage.
He got up, packing up his equipment. “Why?” I asked him, making him pause on what he was doing.
“Why bring me here? What did I do to deserve this?”
He stared at me, saying nothing. And then he hurried out of the room, locking the door behind him.
I turned my head away from the camera, biting my lips as hot tears flowed down my face, the pain coming from deep within my soul.
“Why? Why couldn’t they just leave me alone?”
Suddenly, I felt this deep stirring within my insides, the pain so hot I had to scream out, unable to bear it.
What the fuck is it now?
“Antonio…….,” I cried out, holding my stomach. I coughed hard, blood pouring from my mouth.
Was I dying from the wolfsbane?
I could vividly remember my father coughing out blood like this, as the wolfsbane slowly tore at his insides.
But me, who knows how many bags of wolfsbane Antonio had injected into me.
Antonio and the quack burst into the room, holding me as I thrashed around hard, blood pouring out from my mouth and eyes.
“Help me…..,” I cried out. “The pain, make it stop…”
“Shit…,” Antonio mumbled.
“We need to get her to a real hospital, unless you want her dead. And I told you that amount of wolfsbane wasn’t something anyone could handle. Look, it’s tearing her and her wolf apart.”
I screamed as something bulged through my stomach, almost like something was growing bigger inside.
Was my baby still alive?
“What the fuck is that?” the quack screamed out, pointing at my stomach healing fast.
