Chapter 332 Oh family

Chapter 332 Oh family
"Why do you all gang up on me?" Xylia screamed at them as tears started down her face.

"No one is doing that. You want the love, and we are trying to give it to you. Trouble is, you find a reason to make it all dark. We want nothing more than to love you and see you bloom." Lindaat explained, knowing everyone agreed with her.

"You're lying!!" Xylia yelled at her again.

"Let me show you what I see." Lindaat placed her hand on Xylia's arm. Showing her the strings that attached them all. "See the golden threads?"

"Don't touch...What the hell are those?" Xylia struggled for a moment, then went still.

"That is the people in your life. The golden color shows love. You have almost all golden colors. There is another color here, which means you have found your true mate." Lindaat explained, showing her the thread to Ehlark.

"No, no no...You didn't come looking for me." Xylia knew it was stupid, but she knew what she had felt.

"We all looked for you, every day for two years." Lindaat showed her images of them looking for her through the forest. Seeing the ward that kept them out.

"I-I can't. No more, please." Xylia was shaking from head to toe.

Lindaat released her, seeing Ehlark grab her before she fell to the ground. Her knees started to buckle, but she didn't hit the ground. Telraamon caught her, taking her over to the chairs by the table. When he sat her down her checked her over, making sure she was alright. She gave him a weak smile.

"I'm alright, she has seen it all now. Where she takes it is truly up to her. Lucian, can you come over here, please?" Lindaat called out to him with a bright smile.

"I will grab you some food and drink." Telraamon kissed her cheek as he moved to get the items.

"I don't think I want to," Lucian told her, but he moved over to her chair.

"The goddess is worried about you. You did nothing wrong when Xylia was taken. That spell broke you in ways that we didn't know. Take my hand." Lindaat held her hand out to him.

The moment he touched her hand, he screamed, going to his knees. LIndaat didn't let him go; however, she had to get the last bit of the spell out. After a few moments, he slumped to the ground.

"What the hell did you do to my son?" Majesta screamed, running to her son.

"I fixed his mind, getting the last of the spell that had taken hold in his mind." Lindaat swayed in the chair. Nix put her hand on her daughter's shoulder and almost screamed. Tears started rolling down her face when she looked from Lindaat to Aarshon. "Mom, you should maybe speak to Dad about something that has happened."

"Aarshon, you let her do this?" Nix walked over to him with a sigh.

:"I didn't have a choice in the matter. The goddess wanted me to take you away so Lindaat could change. I told her I didn't like the idea, but she put an idea in your mind about our family." Aarshon sighed, knowing this would happen.

"You knew I wanted more children," Nix explained and felt horrible for making him feel bad about it.

"Yes, I did. The thing is, the fae don't have children in groups like that. It is always more than fifty years or more between. I knew you wanted more children, so when she offered, I took it. I did, however, tell her you would be mad about it all." he pulled her to her body. "I also told her that your goddess might not like the idea. That you and she didn't get along too well."

"Well, she must like me enough because we are going to have triplets," Nix told him with a bright smile. "The spell worked, or the goddess did; either way, it worked."

"You can't be serious?" Rayne had begged the goddess to give her children, and they had to do magic for it. Her son's wife wants more children, and the goddess steps in.

"Grandma, the goddess didn't step in for you because she already knew what was to come. She was torn apart by how you were treated. The way the fae seemed to forget you even lived." Lindaat explained with a sigh. This wasn't a great idea; she was so tired now.

"Not much of a..." Rayne started but stopped when she looked at her granddaughter, seeing how pale she was. This was killing her, and she didn't want to add to it. "I have been blessed."

Everyone looked at Lindaat like she was a spy or worse. This was part of the price she would pay for being the conduit to the goddess. It wasn't what she wanted, nor did she want to be hated by them all. Telraamon lifted her off the chair, heading toward the castle. He could feel the weight of what had happened today, and he didn't want her to overdo it.

"What are you doing?" Ailive rushed over to her sister. "Is she alright?"

"Just working with two of them has drained her. If she keeps going, she will end up having a meltdown. I can't let that happen. The goddess has told me to keep an eye on her, help her learn. That is what I am doing." Telraamon moved away from the family taking her into the castle.

"She has changed," Nix told her husband. She doesn't have the scent of the pack any longer.

"This is what she had to do to save her family. Lindaat didn't care if she died to save everyone here. The goddess didn't want this for her and has tried her best to keep her from it. Sadly, the magic had different thoughts on that. For Xylia and Ailive, she took on this weight. I would hope that everyone here will treat her like she hasn't changed. She will go inside herself if that happens." Rayne spoke with tears in her eyes. "We are all in debt to her for what she did."

"Why should I be nice to her?" came the small voice of Maeve.

"Sweet girl, if she hadn't taken the power, then it would have been released into the realm and most likely killed it all," Rayne explained to her daughter, who had grown almost double her size in the last month. This worried her that she wasn't full fae. "Besides, she is your family and she loves you."

"Otay." Maeve ran off to play with the fairies.

"She has grown so much in the last month." Rayne pointed out to Dimitri. "Are we sure that she is full fae?"

"That is my doing," Brigid called from the edge of the clearing. "Sorry, I am late, but something wouldn't let me close."

"Why?" Rayne asked, not happy with her sister.

"She wanted to explain things to me, but couldn't as an infant. I just helped her through that stage of it. What did I miss? Where is Lindaat?" Brigid came over to the tables.
