Chapter 329 Fix the issues

Chapter 329 Fix the issues
"Have you tried to fix it?" Lindaat could see that her twin wasn't in a great place. Her emotions were all over the place.

"No." Ailive didn't think it called for more than one word.

"You blame her?" Lindaat smiled at Telraamon when he helped put pillows behind her.

"No, yes?" Ailive couldn't decide whether she had or hadn't. The truth was, she was going to allow it before that, so why did she get upset when it happened?

"I know that you had offered to give up your light to save her. So I am a little confused why you would be upset with her when it happened." Lindaat felt the power in her body surging, and she had to fight to keep it down.

"Lindaat you need to rest." Telraamon could see the fight in her eyes.

"I can't answer that. When my light came back, I felt horrible for the way I treated her. The trouble is that when I said those things, I didn't mean to upset her. It just came out that way." Ailive sighed as she stood from the bed. "I need to write to her."

"How long?" Lindaat looked between the two.

"If you are talking about yourself being in a coma. That would be around three weeks. To answer the part about Xylia, it would be about the same amount of time. When the magic came for you, she sat with you for a few days. When Ailive asked her why she was there, she left." Telraamon explained, looking between the two women.

"Wait, you only asked her why she was there? Did you say it as if you hated her?" Lindaat didn't understand what was going on.

"Not that I know of. I was drained and not myself at the time." Ailive couldn't find a sit so she stood, but she felt so uncomfortable in the room.

"I wouldn't say that it was hateful. The tone was a little gruff, but nothing that should have pushed her away as it did." Telraamon stood from the bed. "I'll get you some food and drink."

When he went to the door, it opened, showing a young fairy standing with a tray in her hands. A bright smile on her face as she entered the room, putting the tray on a table that hadn't been there a moment before. After she placed the items, she left the room.

"I meant to tell you, we don't have to call for food or drinks. The staff somehow just knows we need it." Lindaat explained as her stomach growled. Her face brightened as she tried to hide.

"Well, they brought enough for all of us. Ailive, do you want some tea? Food?" Telraamon asked, already knowing that Lindaat needed food and drink.

"I will get mine, help Linny." Ailive nodded toward her twin.

Telraamon looked between the two and almost laughed at the look on her face. It was a nickname that Ailive had given her so long ago that she had forgotten until she said it again. He brought her a plate with meat, cheese, and bread on it. A moment later, he put a cup of tea on her nightstand. They ate in silence until a knock on the door made them still.

"Come in," Lindaat called out between bites of food.

The moment the door opened, she smiled brightly at Aameris, who had left the room to write a few letters to family. Letting them know that Landaat was awake and doing well. One letter went to Rayne to ask her to come back to the realm to speak to them about the magic. The letter to her parents would take time to get to them. They had gone overseas to spend time with one another.

"Oh, little light, I am so glad you are awake and looking well." Aameris popped a grape into his mouth as he moved past the small table. "Ailive I see you are looking better and eating."

"The goddess had me give her the light back. I have no idea how I did it. Oh, and I tried to kill her with lightning." Lindaat stuffed a piece of bread in her mouth after she spoke.

"You tried to kill whom?" Aameris asked, hoping that she hadn't tried to kill the goddess. "For the love of all things, please tell me you didn't strike the goddess with lightning."

With her mouth full, she couldn't answer him. The look on his face told her that he already figured out that she had, in fact, struck the goddess.

"Holy shit, you struck the goddess? She let you live?" Telraamon couldn't believe that this woman had lived through that.

"I didn't really mean...Okay, the truth is I did it on purpose because she didn't want to let me leave. I knew that I would do better with my family around me. I also healed her after, it was strange to be honest." Lindaat felt her face heat.

They looked at her like she had lost her mind. The door opened a few moments after she finished speaking. Rayne walked in, looking at everyone, then at Lindaat. Shock written all over her face.

"You attacked the goddess?" Rayne couldn't help but laugh at the thought. "I would say that she didn't see that coming and wasn't happy about it."

"She didn't see it coming. I wasn't happy that she didn't want me to come home. The look on her face scared me to start with, but then she looked almost proud of me." Lindaat sipped her tea. "I healed her also."

"It is amazing that you did that. She sees almost everything that is happening. Willow would be laughing her ass off on that one." Rayne laughed. "The truth is that you will have to train to control this new power. We have no idea what kind of power you have. When the power went backfired, it hit two people. This time, the power only went out after you."

"The goddess wasn't happy about what happened. She had already seen where our lives would go. Now she isn't sure because of the power and how Xylia is acting. She is also upset at the family and how they treated Xylia. I told her that it wasn't meant to harm her, it was just how it happened. Some of it wasn't us; it was how Xylia saw the situation. That the family loves her deeply, but she doesn't believe any of us." Lindaat finished her food, handing the plate to Telraamon. "Thank you for helping me. We need to get Xylia and the family in one room."

"It is true that things went crazy for a while. I do blame myself for talking around and over her. I love her and want her to be happy. Xylia isn't confident in the love of the family. Which I never understood. Even with us acting like that, we always showed her we loved her." Rayne felt tears building in her eyes. "I can tell you that things have changed in the realm since you came back."

"This is going to be a tough week." Rayne sighed.
