Chapter 502 He Just Slept with Another Woman and Now He's Messing with Ms. Smith?
In the early morning hours, Sean woke up in a daze.
Looking at Bella sitting by the bed, he saw her pale face and struggled to sit up, holding his forehead. "What's wrong?"
"What happened to your face? Who hit you?"
Bella stared at him in silence, the whirlpool in her eyes tearing him apart.
Sean sensed something was off. Looking around, he realized this wasn't their room. "Where is this?"
Bella let out a cold laugh, pulled out her phone, and handed it to him. On the screen was a video of him tangled up with another woman, making their way into a room.
"You're using the same tricks on others that you once used on me?" Bella slowly nodded. "I should have known—if you could use these dirty tactics on me, you'd naturally use them on others too. After all, that's always been your style."
"I have no idea what happened." Sean turned off the phone and tossed it onto the sheets.
Bella's eyes widened with fury as she stood up, glaring at him. "You don't know! That's exactly what you said back then. Faced with everyone's questions, you pushed me into hell with just 'I don't know,' completely ignoring how I felt as the victim. Do you think, now that history is repeating itself, I'd believe what you're saying?"
"Bella..."
"Bella..."
"Honey..."
After speaking, Bella turned and left. Sean tried to get up and chase after her, but when he got out of bed, he discovered he was completely naked.
He picked up his clothes from the floor to put them on, only to find they were completely unwearable.
A knock came at the door just then. Sean grabbed a bathrobe, threw it on, and opened the door to find Thalia standing there.
She was holding a bag from a men's clothing brand. Perhaps because it was late, she had draped an ink-colored shawl over her evening dress.
"Mr. Jimenez, I think you could use some help right now."
Sean vaguely sensed this wasn't simple; his eyes fixed on Thalia with a murderous look. "Did you do this?"
Thalia shrugged. "I don't have that kind of power."
"Everyone in Emerald City knows what I'm like—not bad, just love watching drama unfold."
"Mr. Jimenez, you came all the way from Regal City. I can't let you walk out there naked."
Sean let out a cold laugh, his eyes falling on the bag in Thalia's hand. Not wanting to argue with her, he bent down to take the bag from her hand, his movements quick and decisive.
Thalia seemed startled by his action.
She stumbled back several steps in shock, flinging the bag away.
It landed in the cruise ship's corridor. "Mr. Jimenez, I'm not one of those easy women out there."
"You..." Sean looked at the clothes Thalia had thrown far away.
People were coming and going in the corridor.
If he went out now, he'd definitely attract everyone's attention. Seeing people stopping to watch the show, he knew without thinking that everyone probably already knew about this.
During the few short hours he'd been unconscious, something had happened that he knew nothing about.
But Thalia's behavior made it clear that something had definitely occurred.
The woman's bright eyes darted around cunningly, crafty as a little fox just out of its den. "Mr. Jimenez, you startled me."
"Pick it up." The man's face was full of menace.
"If you beg me, I'll pick it up." Thalia pulled her shawl tighter.
"Don't expect me to beg if you won't pick it up."
"The more you refuse to beg, the less I'll pick it up."
"Thalia..." The man looked at her through gritted teeth.
Thalia clicked her tongue. "I can't stand seeing a handsome man suffer—it breaks my heart. How about this—five hundred thousand dollars, and I'll pick it up for you."
"Why don't you just rob someone?"
"What? Too expensive? Look who's bringing you clothes. Do you know what my appearance fee is? Mr. Jimenez, if you don't decide soon, I'm going to increase the price."
Thalia was here to humiliate him—Sean had figured that out.
This woman was far from the empty-headed person rumored outside. Behind that innocent actress's face, Thalia was up to all kinds of mischief.
"I'm counting to five, Mr. Jimenez. You'd better think carefully. The whole ship knows about you sleeping with another woman tonight. See those people back there? They're all waiting to watch your show. They're probably just waiting for you to come out. If you want to give them news material, then pretend I didn't say anything."
"Five hundred thousand dollars—it's worth it."
"Mr. Jimenez, if you don't think I'm worth that price, fine, but isn't your own reputation worth it?"
"Account number," Sean said through clenched teeth.
As he spoke, he stepped back into the room, avoiding the camera outside.
Thalia had prepared in advance. Hearing his question, she handed over a card with not only her phone number, but also an account number.
Three to five minutes later, the transfer notification arrived. Thalia glanced at her phone, her face lighting up with a radiant smile.
She walked over, bent down to pick up the bag from the floor, and handed it to Sean. "Even the underwear is your size. Have a pleasant evening." Thalia curved her lips and turned to leave.
There were stairs going directly from the eighth floor to the seventh. Thalia chose not to take the elevator. Having just scammed someone, she was in a good mood, humming a little tune as she went downstairs.
Just as she reached the stairwell, someone grabbed her shoulder and pressed her against the railing.
Her body spun around, leaning against the railing, her lower back hitting it painfully.
Thalia cursed inwardly.
She asked, "Mr. Jimenez, what's the meaning of this?"
"I just wanted to get to know you again after our transaction ended." Sean pressed Thalia's shoulders. Behind her was a 20-foot drop.
This sudden scene drew gasps from people enjoying themselves downstairs.
"Damn it, isn't that Sean? He just slept with another woman and now he's messing with Ms. Smith?"
"Does he have a death wish?"
"Has he lost his mind?"
"Didn't they say Mr. Brown and Ms. Smith are close? Isn't Sean afraid Mr. Brown will teach him a lesson for touching Ms. Smith?"
"Tonight wasn't a waste."
At the railing, Thalia didn't back down, reaching out to grab Sean's tie. "Mr. Jimenez, guess what would happen to you if I fell?"
"If I'm not mistaken, tonight was all your doing, wasn't it?"
"You guessed right. So what?"
"If I were you, I'd keep my head down and behave right now, or I might get in a bad mood and leak tonight's events to Regal City. Tell me, who would be worse off then?"
"That depends on whether you'll have that chance tonight." Sean's grip on Thalia's shoulders loosened slightly.
