Chapter 357 Thalia Lying on the Sofa, Held Down by William
Amara sat in the dining room, eating while craning her neck to watch what was happening in the living room outside.
Watching the drama unfold, she didn't forget to pull someone in for company. "Do you think those two will get into a fight?"
Fallon shook her head confidently. "No."
"That sure?"
"Mr. Brown can't bear to," In their eyes, William's indulgence of Thalia had already exceeded the normal range for couples.
The first thing when he got home was to find Thalia.
When traveling for business, he bought gifts for the whole family just to get something for Thalia.
In the middle of the night, if Thalia said she was hungry, William would get up to find food. No matter how late it was, as long as Thalia said she wanted to come home, he would definitely wait until she returned before resting.

In the living room, William was unusually humble, crouching in front of Thalia, his deep gaze fixed on her, serious and determined, leaving Thalia unable to find any trace of insincerity.

William continued to coax her gently. "Then let Amara come massage it for you first. You can think while she massages."
Thalia said, "I'm letting you off the hook, just go!"
After all that talk, he still wanted her to suffer the pain.
She'd gotten injured before when doing wire work while filming - this injury really wasn't worth mentioning.
It would heal soon enough.
Massaging it would just intensify the pain to promote healing.
"No." William refused, brief and commanding.
Thalia was already annoyed, and now she had to listen to William's orders, which instantly made her angry. "I just won't massage it. I'm going to leave it there, and then while you're home, I'll pull up my clothes every now and then to show you, to let you know how much I've suffered."
"If I get better, your guilt will lessen, right? I'm not going to let it heal."

"Where's Thalia? Where is she?" Eleanor rushed to the company, looking travel-worn. When she saw two people lying in the company hallway, already lifeless.
Finn glanced at Eleanor. "Went to the hospital."
"Hospital?" Eleanor was startled, thinking she'd now offended everyone.
William was protective, Thalia held grudges - nothing good would come from these two together.
"Ms. Mitchell, Mr. Brown asked me to give you a message."
"Go ahead."
Finn hesitated, then thought for a moment before speaking. "Should I use Mr. Brown's exact words?"
Eleanor nodded.
"The public opinion on the company side is left to you. As for the director's team, Thalia needs to rest for at least a week. You need to handle this too, otherwise I can't guarantee whether tonight's news will leak to the media."
Eleanor thought, 'This is William's way of doing things after all.'
Eleanor glanced at the man lying on the ground, stripped naked, her eyes sweeping across the man's inner arm. She had walked two steps before remembering something.
"Did you guys cross someone from Windstorm Hall?"
"What do you mean?" John didn't understand.
Eleanor turned back, crouched down, and pulled aside the clothes on the man's arm. "There's an organization, code name Windstorm Hall. Their signature is a blue rose tattooed on their arm."
"Left for men, right for women."
Eleanor pointed at the man's arm. "Of course, I've only heard about it when I was abroad, never actually seen it. If Mr. Brown has the ability, he can investigate following this lead."
John and Finn exchanged glances.
They made note of Eleanor's words.
On the other side, the director's team was going crazy, searching everywhere for Thalia and discussing whether to call the police.
Suddenly, a steady female voice came from the corner. "You all should know what calling the police means, right?"
"Forget about your production's losses - if Thalia's disappearance from my company causes our stock to drop, shouldn't I ask the director to compensate for that loss?"
The director was intimidated by her forceful tone. He was a grown man who'd seen it all, especially working in the entertainment industry, where everyone was shrewd, but every time he talked with Eleanor, he always felt suppressed by her presence and aura.
"Ms. Mitchell, this is a matter of life and death. Now isn't the time to think about these things."
"Life and death?" Eleanor chuckled lightly. "What's that got to do with me? Do I need to remind you where our business relationship stands?"
"But..." the director still wanted to struggle.
"Enough, I'll handle this. I'll have people search for her. To prevent this from blowing up, the production shuts down for a week."
"A week?" Sterling immediately cried out.
Shutting down for a week meant they'd lose tens of millions of dollars.
The director knew this was already the best solution. Losing tens of millions wasn't a big deal - they could make it back once the show was good. But if something really happened to Thalia, their losses wouldn't stop there.
"Okay, we'll do as you say, Ms. Mitchell."
As Eleanor turned to leave, Sterling looked at the director. "Director, how could you agree?"
"If I don't agree and let this blow up, then the show gets cancelled?"
At Mistwood Hill, Thalia's screams and curses at William rose and fell continuously.
Amara wished she could stuff cotton in her ears.
Where did Thalia's mouth learn all these curse words?
Thalia lay on the sofa, held down by William's hand on her shoulder, unable to move, while Amara quickly massaged her injured lower back.
She was like meat on a chopping board, at their mercy.
"Okay, okay, just apply some heat, and it'll be fine. Stop cursing."
"I'm going to report you for abusing me."
"Mm-hmm, go report it. I'll have Angelina write up the lawsuit for you."
"Mr. Brown, Finn is here."
William pulled over a nearby blanket to cover Thalia and lifted his chin, signaling Finn to come in.
"Everyone settled?" William asked.
Finn nodded. "All settled. We didn't find anything unusual during the examination. After Ms. Mitchell arrived and saw the tattoo on their arms, she told us these people might be from an organization called Windstorm Hall."
"She said their signature is a blue rose tattooed on their arm, left for men, right for women."
Windstorm Hall?
William's eyes darkened, his blue eyes churning. "What else did she say?"
"She said she heard about it when she was abroad, and that if you have the ability, you should be able to investigate it."
