Chapter 61 Chapter 61
Chapter 61 Chapter 61
Isla's POV
“Greetings great ones, we have expected your arrival for a while now.” A man with white long beards said to us as we entered the place.
They all had small tents, it took us two days to get to the main city from where we had our tents.
What did he mean he had been expecting us? I had read about the druids and I knew they were powerful. What if all of these were for waste.
“Try to be positive, okay?” Twilight whispered in my ear.
How did she know what I was thinking? Were we interlinked now? I couldn't help but wonder.
“I will take you to meet them.” A young girl came, walking up to us. Her face was all smiley, she was really beautiful and then I knew it in my guts that something was wrong.
“Come.”She said and touched my hands, as she hugged my hand, different waves hit me at once.
Isla.” Athena called shakily and then sniffled.
“Yes” I asked her.
The look on her face changed after my answer but she looked like she had to stay in character with whatever was happening with her.
“Please hold my hand.” She said, still sniffling.
I looked back at Twilight and Devonye but they weren't there, she was the only one here, raising her hand and reaching out for mine.
I looked at the charm in my hand, holding tight to it, and reached out for hers, taking them.
“Please stay with me. It's late and I'm scared.” She said, trying to cup my face but I shifted my head back.
She looked surprised but continued.
“What's that in your hand?” She asked wanting to take the charm from me.
“It’s uhm…it's a thing I found in my other jacket.” I answered, stuttering.
She was tearing to hold it, reaching out for it, something looked fishy with the way her attitude suddenly changed.
“Throw it away. You should have only my time when you're here with me.” She said.
It looked like she was afraid of the charm, she looked terrified.
“Okay I'll put in my pocket.” I said.
“No, it'll still be here and I'll be even more scared.” She said, hugging me while still trying to reach for the charm.
I put it in the corner of my mouth and raised my hand up.
“It's gone.” I said, raing my hands up.
This was one of the few times I was happy I had undergone intensive training while trying out to be a soldier before Iwe started training.
Food would be in our mouth while we did push ups, whoever bit theirs first had to do a hundred more.
“Thank you. Now be a good girl and tell me what they were talking about.” She said taking my had and leading to the river side.
I looked at her, confusion filling even the air I dree in. Had u been feeding her all I knew when she only asked?
When she didn't get any reply, she looked at me and her blue eyes turned green like she was trying to get the words out of me. With each stare, the charm in my mouth grew warmer, when it became hot, I looked away.
Everything Devonye had said or tried to say was true, she was putting us under a spell because we were mates we were entangled the only reason she couldn't get Devonye was because she was mate less.
“Don't you want to tell me Isla?” She asked.
“I'll tell you, anything you want me to.” I said, my voice shaky a little bit, but I had to stay in character, the last thing she needed to know was that we gou d out her little secret.
“That's better.” She said and rested her head on my chest.
"Leave them alone." Twilight said, standing up weakly.
"Oh we both know you wouldn't try it Twilight because you're weak." She said, pushing Twilight to the ground, while I just stood shaking my bars and watched.
Twilight ran to where I was and use her nyx blade to cut the locks.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry I..." I wanted to start.
"It's okay, we have to get out of here." She had said, rushing to where Devonye was to help her up.
“Heal the World, great one.”
“It was really good having you here Isla, the world would need your greatness.”
“I have come here because I have been summoned, something from the West wind brought me here.”
“Rememver the instructions you have been given, for my time here has been limited, three would go on a quest but one would betray and come back alone.”
“You're mine.” She whispered, taking my lips into hers.
I looked into her eyes like I was seeing her soul, she looked so pure, so open, so free.
“I am.” I answered returning the kiss.
She raised me and put on the bed, holding me like she wanted to lead me down the aisle someday.
“You're beautiful.” She whispered again, removing the strands of hair that were on my face away, pushing them behind my ear.
After she said that she put her hand inside my shirt, rubbing my stomach and started kissing it.
“Argh.” I moaned as she worked her way with her lips up to my breasts and started sucking it from outside the cloth.
“Don't stop, please….argh….don't stop.” I moaned, moving my hips to match the rhythm with which she used. She put one hand on my hips, pushing them down.
“You want this?” She asked raising up her hair.
My heart felt like it would leave my mouth when I saw her face, it was Athena.
“Athena.” I whispered.
All the things that had happened in the past had flooded my memories. I had to thread carefully.
I pulledy hand away from the girl that had met us and started breathing fast. Those memories came and left as soon and quickly as they came. Something smelt more than fishy here and I had to find out quickly.
We walked until we reached a particular house and we opened the curtains and then everyone felt silent.
“Isla.” Someone called my name.
It wasn't with their lips because everyone was quiet, it sounded like the sound came from my head.
“Isla.” The voice was eerie and surprisingly calm.
“Isla.” The voice called again.
“What are you?” I asked, finding myself communicating telepathically.
“Welcome!” One of the men's voyce cut through my thoughts and I was taken a little aback.
I kept ok looking I to his eyes, there were so intense
It felt like I was having a pull, like something was dragging me seriously and I couldn't resist.
Soon,I found myself in a empty space and then I felt my legs fold like I wanted to go for yoga.
Different chairs surrounded me with initials on them like they were all meant for particular people. It looked halal.
“Where am I please? Anybody there? I think you might have called the wrong girl.” I shouted but he only thing I heard back was mu own voice echo.
Then I saw him, Krai.
Behind Krai were five other people, they all had a mark on small places on their arm, it was the same tattoo Krai had on his full right and left arm. I had never noticed the tattoo all the times I had seen him, it looked new.
They all had bits of the tattoo on their arm. They were Krai's followers, or better still, his disciples.
I looked to where Ivy stood, Elena and Violet came out and behind them stoof two other girls each, with their eyes white just like that of the guardians.
Behind Twilight's mom, stood a man and a girl, with cuffs on their hands and wearing a toga.
“Welcome.” He said looking at me with a warm smile.
“What am I doing here? I need to be back on Earth, the druids might have a clue on what to do about my sister, please I beg you.” I begged.
“Sister.” Ivy scoffed and then smiled a little.
“Why are you laughing?” I asked trying to get a hold of the joke too.
“Why do you search for what is not lost great one? You have come this far for answers you already possess.” Violet said, her sharp voice piercing the air.
“I'm sorry where am I?” I asked, ignoring whatever it was the both of them had just said.
“With the council.” Elena said, rather smiling.
“I do not understand anything that has just been said to me, is Athena going to come again, I had a vision that Far and Ryaknorg were hurt, is that true?” I said, asking all my questions once.
“Only you know the answer great one, only you can solve the riddle you put in front of you, if only it is worth it.” Krai said and the next thing I felt myself floating again until I wasn't.
I was back on Earth and I could feel my legs, head, heart beat.
“Are you okay?” Devonye whispered.
“I think we're in serious trouble.” I whispered back.
