Chapter 14

SABASTIAN POV

What the hell was wrong with me today?

‘‘There were many ways to find out the truth. Why did I say I'd become their teacher? Fuck me!’’ I shouted in my mind before I looked at the girl who was the reason for this insane decision I tool today. She had a shocked expression on her face.

‘‘You're looking for trouble. I can see that,’’ my wolf hollered in laughter. And j couldn't help but agree with him on that.

What was I doing today?

Looking at the wide smile on the chancellor's face, I couldn't help but look at him with a weird contorted face of mine.

‘’Let's see what the future both holds for me'’

‘‘Your future is looking a bit adventurous to me nonetheless,’’ my Wolf howled, making me more annoyed than I already was.

ALEXIS CLARK'S POV

Have u ever felt like life had pulled you into a situation where you have two options but you have to chose just one? And one option from that is to jump into an endless abyss, and the other, to jump down a cliff? Yeah? You have? Well then, you and I are in exactly same situation.

Well, that was exactly what I'm feeling right now.

Now, I don't gave anywhere to go.

If I go into hiding again, then it would mean another few months if hiding here and there before finding a suitable place to live peacefully again. It wasn't as bad as it looked. However, the fact that thr Alpha will hunt me down was an added consequence to it.

And if I decided to stay here, then I'll be at the mercy of the strongest Alpha here. And I don't think it would take long before they exile me or try something like that. However, I don't want to leave this place after the bond I've made with the people here. Not to mention my one year of graduation.

My Brain was in the haywire of emotions while my concious self was in a battle to see if what u heard just now was right or wrong.

Did he say what I think he say just now?

This Blake guy was dandomely gojbg to take our lessons from now on?

The little hope that I had left inside me that maybe they would spare me was gone now. They haven't dine anything like this teaching or interacting with humans so far and were trying such trick just after they met me in the college meant only one thing.

They were doing all these because of a purpose.

And that purpose was none other than me, Alexis Clark.

Smiling at the guy stiffly, whose eyes had been focused in me from the time he entered, I looked back at Matt, who was going on and on about some kind of party.

‘‘So, are you coming?’’ He asked me. And me being a blockhead who was busy in her dreamland, looked at him as if he were some kind of an alien.

‘‘You were not listening, were you?’’ he asked me before rolling his eyes.

Glad that he knows me that much, I smiled before nodding my head.

‘‘What am I going to do with you seriously? If boys who come running after you cone to know how you really are, I bet they'd be as mad for you as they are. Let me majd it short. There's a bonfire party tonight just enjoy ourselves before the semester exams. Almost everybody is coming and u think you should come too. Let's go together,’’ he said and this time, I caught on the topic.

Party? Should I really go to his party? I don't think my current situation is party worthy. But then again, things hadn't been easy for me since I came to know that I was a lantern, were they? And who knows if I'll get to live the next day. Why not Anjou this time while I still can?

‘‘I think I'll join this time,’’ I smiled at him before going back to doodling on my notebook.

‘‘Hey, are you coming for real? As far as I know, you don't really join these crowded parties,’’ the guy sitting in front of me asked, making me smile at him briefly before I nodded.

‘‘Woah..that's so cool. Let me inform others that you're coming. I bet I'll be able to earn some good money with this information,’’ he said, making me nod my head at him with a confused gaze.

He did not just say that, did he?

He could earn money just by spreading news that I was coming to the party?

‘‘I need 60% since we're talking about me,’’ I told the guy, who looked at me with widened eyes before nodding his head with enthusiasm.

Well, at least someone was happy about my arrival.

‘‘What are you doing?’’ Matt asked, looking stunned as if he didn't expect it from me.

‘‘What do you mean what I'm doing? He's earning money just be talking about me. I should get some part of it too. Its easy money and I need a lot of it,’’ I told Matt, who just shook his head at me with a smile on his face.

Well,I still don't see anything wring with it. I shrhugged before going back to the doodling.

‘‘So this is all for me. I'm not sure when I'll start the teaching thing, but I'll cone on random visits more often from now on. I hope to get good grades from you guys.

‘‘Since I'm busy with my work, I will be needing a student assistant to help me handle the paperwork here. And u will add, my assistant will get extra points from doing that extra work,’’ Blake said. I don't know if it was just me or something but I heard some cockiness in his voice, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes at him.

‘’Assistant my ass. I won't be your student If I had a choice. Even if you had given me 100 credit points.’’ I thought, making my conscience laugh at me.

‘‘Im serious, I won't do that even for those points,’’ I shouted at her, just to make my point and this made her laugh even harder, which annoyed me more.

‘‘Ok class, let's thank the founders for taking out time from their busy schedule and honoring us for coming here,’’ the chancellor said. And if looks could kill, then he would have already been six feet under the podium.

Is he the reason for my suffering?

I was busy in my own world, killing the chancellor in my wicked ways when I felt a tap on my desk, making me look from my notebook. Now who the hell is disturbing me?

The person standing there, stunning me, as I looked in his dark grey stormy eyes.
