Protect Her

After what I saw yesterday, I couldn't get her out of my head, but I have been focused on her protection, so it is only fitting to think about her. I called Alex, " Hey Veli, Minusta meidän pitäisi hankkia Ellalle koira." (Hey Brother, I think we should get Ella a dog) Alex and I know many languages, but our favorite is Finnish. He said nothing for a few minutes, "Ajattelin Cane Corsoa" ( I was thinking a Cane Corso). We hung up and kept sending pictures to each other of Cane Corso dogs that we could find in the area. Finally, we settled on getting her one today, but we would get one already fully trained.
Ella was still in her room. I made sure it was decorated to her liking and knocked on her door. She didn't answer for a few minutes; I waited for a few minutes. Then, finally, the door started to open, but she was in a towel and her hair in a bun. " Yes, sir." I swallowed a lump in my throat, "We have a surprise for you, Nukke" She looked at me confused, " It means doll." she smiled and nodded. Then, I went to the kitchen and grabbed a beer to help me deal with my nerves.
Alexander walked into the penthouse with the Cane Corso dog; she was a beautiful shade of black with blue eyes that would melt your heart. I hoped that Ella liked it. "Nukke, come out, please." Alex smiled at the sound of the new nickname for her. We used to call her Kuu, which means moon, but I think Nukke fits her better.
Ella walked out of her room, " Yes, sir." She looked at the dog and instantly smiled.
" Is that for me?" she asked, almost giddy.
Alexander and I both nodded. The moment she stepped to the dog, she lay at her feet.
"What is her name, Nukke?" I kissed her head.
"Her name is Fengári." She looked proud, saying her name; I think Ella loves the moon because when a full moon rises, she smiles like she just saw her world get a lot brighter. The moon, maybe that is why her proper name is Luna. I wonder why she chose Ella? She looked so beautiful petting Fengári; her smile always made me breathless.
She might have me and my brother wrapped around her pinky, "She is trained by the best, Nukke; you deserve the best." While playing with the dog, the look on her face was unique, almost like she hadn't been treated nicely in a long time. Alex and I could give her the world, but something tells me sharing is off-limits until we talk about her.
Alex pulls me to the side, "Meidän täytyy puhua Ellasta" (We need to talk about Ella.)
"Tiedän, mielestäni Ella ansaitsee parempaa" (I know, I think Ella deserves better). I looked at her; I almost wanted to run over and hug her.
"Entä pieni panos?" ( How about a little wager?"
"Ensimmäinen, joka saa hänet rakastumaan, menee ensimmäisenä nukkumaan" (First one to make her fall in love gets to bed her first)
" Sopimus" We shook hands and sat on the couch near Ella.
"Nukke, what do you want to do today?" I asked while I was playing with her bun.
"I want to stay here for a few more hours and then head to Alex's." She was smiling the whole time playing with her new dog. I looked at Alexander nod at her words; he was smiling like an idiot because she was heading to his place today.
I kissed her head, and then she headed to her room; I heard her singing something. She might be the most beautiful tamed thing in our lives; she came out of her room in a red mini-dress that showed off her figure.
*Ella*
When I came out of my room, the look on their faces made it worth it. While I was in my room getting ready, I took my bun down and let my curly hair show. They liked it. I saw them give each other a look, and I couldn't get the look on their faces out of my head. I was heading to Alex's apartment when I felt someone staring at me. " Fengári, here." At the sound of my voice, she came and sat beside me. I can't thank them enough for her; I will feel safe walking the building.
I like the dress I found; I bought it a while ago for my birthday but never got the chance to wear it. I got to Alex's apartment, and I noticed it was locked.
I called Alex to help me at his apartment; it was almost like he ran to help me because he was there in seconds. I almost couldn't believe how fast he got there, but he unlocked the door and opened it for me.
I headed to my room with Fen and sat on my bed with her; I must have fallen asleep because Alex woke me up for dinner.
Alex cooked spaghetti with asparagus and poured me a glass of white wine; he and Nikolas have been so nice to me lately.
I should talk to him about my feelings, but I want to wait longer before talking to him and Nik about it. I want to tell them both simultaneously because I don't want any confusion about who I like more. Alex and I had a nice dinner; we sat and talked for hours and got to know each other. Then, I went to the room and lay in bed with Fen, I was scrolling through my phone, and I saw my old foster home had made a post about all of their kids, which made me happy.
I saw that Fen had fell asleep but I stayed up a bit longer to think over the last few years of my life. I can't believe that I met these two amazing men at this point in my life.
