LEN'S POV
I had just got off patrol duty when I was told Alpha Lawrence wanted to see me in his office immediately. I had not been called to his office like this in years. I went into the pack house and up to his office. The door was open as I approached it Alpha Lawrence told me to come in and close the door. I went   and closed the door and bowed my head. Alpha stood up and started pacing the floor.
"You know Len my father always taught me that if I did anything wrong it would come back to bite me in the ass sooner or later. As you know my father was a great man and i have spent the last ten years trying to be as good as he was. I was called to the council house to meet with high Councillor Dwayne you do know who his is right?" Alpha asked me.
"Yes Alpha, I'm very aware of who the man is." I told him.
"You should understand than how I felt about being summoned to his chambers in the council house." Alpha said
"I can only imagine, Alpha. Is there an Issue with the pack?" I asked him.
"The pack as a whole no. A member of this pack yes. I missed my Luna’s birthday dinner because I had to be counselled on how to deal with this situation." Alpha said angrily.
"I'm very sorry to hear that Alpha if there is anything I can do to help." I said.
"Well Len that is why you are here." He said giving me a look I had never seen on him before.
"Of course Alpha, just tell me who I need to deal with and we will get this fixed as soon as possible." I told him.
"It is you Len!" Alpha said he wolf part of the way forward. I was in shock what had I done. 

"What did I do Alpha?" I asked him.
"We will get to that at a later date. Right now, I have a letter for you passed to me from High Councilor Dwayne. You have one day to respond to this letter." He told me.
"What is the letter about?" I questioned him.
"That I do not know. Those are the instructions from High Councillor Dwayne. Twenty-four hours from receiving the letter I must take a response to Councillor Dwayne.
I suggest you take this and go home read it and bring me back your response as soon as possible. You're dismissed." He said to me passing me the letter. I took it and left his office. Fran would be upset I was late for breakfast. At least the pups would be off to school except for Lilly our newest pup who was only six months old.
"Len, why are you late Fran asked as soon as I walked in the door.
"Alpha Lawrence called me to his office love. He gave me a letter that came through the high Councillor. I have to respond to the letter today." I told her putting the letter on the table as I sat down. Fran brought me my breakfast she re- heated in the microwave and a hot cup of black coffee. After she put my food and coffee down she went to pick up the letter, but I was faster and put my hand on it so she could not take it. She gave me the look she gives the pups when she us scolding them.
"Are you hiding something from me Len?" She asked, upset.
"Can I read the stupid thing first! And no, I'm not hiding anything from you, I have no idea what this is about," I told her. Thank he goddess Lilly started to cry and she went to tend to her. I pushed my plate away and took my coffee and went to sit in the living room with my coffee and the letter. The writing on the envelope looked like it was a females writing. I tore open the envelope and took out the single sheet of paper. I took a deep breath then a drink of my coffee spilling some on my uniform.

I know what you did seventeen years ago.
Did you just think no one would know.
I demand that you meet with me and give me an explanation as to why you did it. Not responding to this letter or meeting me will cost you everything you have
I await your response.

I read the letter again. The person never sighed their name. It was covered up there was no way anyone knew. The rogue would be in as much trouble as me if he opened his mouth. Who ever it was had a female write it for him. A woman was not there or did someone see. That neither of us knew about. But why now? What did they want? Fran came into the living room and put Lilly in her pen.
"Well, what was the letter about?" Fran asked.
"Honestly I don't understand it. The writer of the letter wants to meet with me. They never even signed their name to the letter. The person said if I didn't meet with them I would lose everything I had." I told her.
"Do you think Trisha wrote the letter?" Fran asked. I had never thought of that but it did not sound like her.
"No, I really don't think so. Why would she go through the high Councilor. When our packs are allies?" I asked her.
"That is true. So, some woman is demanding to meet with you?" She asked.
"I think a man had a women write it so this very thing would happen." I told her.
"What would that thing be Len?" She asked staying calm, but I could see the anger in her face.
"Make it look like I was with someone else. That is what you're thinking. You can not deny it," I said to her.
"It is true part of me was thinking that " Fran confused.
"I'm just going to write them and tell them to go away," I told her.
"Oh, no your going to deal with this now before Alpha gets angrier, or the high Councillor steps in. I also want to be there to see who is threatening my family." Fran said.
"Fran I will deal with this alone." I told her.
"No, or are you really hiding something from me Len." She asked staring me down.
"You know everything that had happened Fran. I have nothing to hide. " I lied to her.
"Then it is settled, write that person back and set a time and date to meet them. The sooner the better." She told me. 
. There was no way out of this. I sat and wrote the letter and took it up to Alpha Lawrence.
I stood waiting outside his door. After twenty minutes he finally told me to come in.
I bowed my head in respect then handed him the response. Then two warriors came in. They forced me to sit and put an ankle monitor on me.
