Chapter 163 CHAPTER 163
"Brenda it is addressed to a person I'm not anymore. What if it is from Len and he wants me to go back to him or is gloating about his life. I'm just going to throw it in the fire and forget I even got it." I told her. Brenda snatched the letter. No, you're not. Look this is a girls handwriting not Len's scribble.
If you don't want to read it I will read it to you." Brenda said.
"I don't want to know what it says Brenda. You can read it if you want. I don't want anything to do with it." I told her getting up and going out onto the porch. I heard Brenda open the envelope with the letter opener. She was quiet for a long time. When she came out onto the porch she had tears in her eyes and was holding the letter.
"Trisha I know what you said, but after reading this I must insist you read it. It is very important." Brenda said.
"Brenda I told you already...." she did not let me finish.
"I don't care what you told me your going to read it or listen to me read it to you. You just can't ignore this. Alpha was right after hearing this letter you will want to do the right thing by this letter. Because Goddess so help me I will answer the letter for you." Brenda yelled at me.
"Why is it so important to you?" I asked her angrily.
"Because I read the dame letter Trisha," Brenda said crying.
"Fine give it to me I will read it later," I told her.
"No! You will read it right now. There is nothing more important in this world then for you reading this letter." Brenda told me.
She went to hand me the letter. But stopped.
"I'm going to sit here and watch that you read it!" She said. Then passed it to me and sat in her chair on the pouch. I sighed and took out the sheets of pink paper the letter was written on. Unfolding them I was about to start reading.
"If I'm going to read it could you at least make me a cup of herbal tea," I asked her.
"After you read the first page," Brenda said being difficult. I shook my head at her, she was being ridiculous. I opened the folded pages and started to read.
Dear Trisha Robinson
My name is Angel Hart - Rae. I'm nineteen year old I live with my adoptive parents Emerson Hart - Rae - Stone and my stepfather Tyron Stone. I would like to tell you about a little girl and her life from the age of two.
The story starts just after she was two years old. Her father for some unknown reason waited until her mother was asleep and took and gave her way to a group of rouges. The man he gave her to told her father that he was the keeper of the light. It is not known what happened when the mother found the little girl gone. The man and his sister raised the little girl with three of their friends. They taught her manners, how to read and write. How to be kind to others. When the girl was five they settled on a human farm and helped the farmer and his elderly mother. The little girl was happy she called the man she was given to Pa and his sister Aunt M. They both loved her very much. One day in the late fall the little girl was playing outside. Pa had to get more nails to fix he side of the house. The little girl was playing with her dolls under a tree he went into get the nail and when he came back out the little girl was gone. Two hag rouges took her to a cave where they were living with another woman. The woman said she was her mother and the man had taken the little girl away from her. The two hags were mean to the little girl but the one who said she was her mother was loving. They spent the whole winter in the cave. In the spring the girl had turned six but no one new that. The man looked and looked for the little girl and could not find her. The first beautiful day of spring they left the gave for a picnic the little girl saw some baby bunnies and wanted to catch one but she got lost and could not find her way back. Two days later she found herself surrounded by a bunch of pack pups. She was taken to their Alpha. The girl growled and tried to scratch and bit everyone until a beautiful woman and her daughter came into the Alpha's office. The little girl got up and went to the daughter saying "Moon?" The daughter picked her up and the like girl said her name was shine. The two beautiful woman took her home. They knew she was a rouge child. The beautiful daughter adopted her.
If you have not figure out yet I'm the little girl. Emerson raised me up right and protect me. She met her mate and they just had their first set of pups. It started me wondering about the mother and father that had me and what they were like. I would like to come and visit you and talk to you in person. I would like to know more about Trisha the woman that carried me in her belly and birthed me. Was I a bad child. Did I cry to much.
I hope you will want to see me. If not I can understand seventeen years is a long time. Maybe you have other pups and a family you didn't want me to be apart of. I don't have answers I would like to have. I look at my little sisters, and I love them so much.
I hope I hear from you. But if not that is ok too.
Angel Hart- Rae
"This has to be a cruel joke Brenda. They said Grace died in the raging river." I told her tears falling from my eyes unchecked.
"I don't think so, Trisha, he never liked Grace and the pack witch told you she was a special child, that she saw the darkness in Len and did not like him. You will never know until you agree to see the girl." Brenda said.
"I don't know what to write to her?" I told Brenda.
"Agree to meet her. If she has connections to the high Councillor. Then Len is going to be in a lot of trouble for kidnapping and faking her death. She never asked you for anything other then to see her and talk to her. If she is Grace then you may get a chance to be in her life." Brenda said. I had to agree but I was scared. Did she think I had anything to do with Len getting rid of her.
