Chapter 112 Unheard Of
The middle-aged woman didn't expect Robert to have such skill, and her face turned ashen.
"So, are you going to make the call or apologize to everyone?" Liam continued to address the woman.
"Just wait. You'll soon understand the trouble you're in!" The woman gritted her teeth.
She then walked off to the side with her child, pulling out her phone and starting to dial as she moved.
"It's alright now, everyone, please continue!" Liam then said to the surrounding onlookers.
"They seem like they’re up to no good. You and your family should leave this place," a plainly dressed woman spoke up.
"Thanks for the concern, but we're fine!" Liam grinned.
He then returned to sit back down on the bench.
The response came quickly. In less than twenty minutes, a group of people came striding over aggressively.
Leading them was a middle-aged man, with a lean old man behind him, and the woman who had been at his side before, her child, already taken away by someone else.
"That's the pair that hit me!" The woman announced loudly as they approached Liam.
Then, turning to Liam and his companion, "You both were acting pretty bold just a while ago, huh?"
"So, you're her husband?" Liam asked, looking nonchalantly at the middle-aged man.
"Who threw the punch?" the middle-aged man, named Jonny, surveyed the two with a glance.
"As long as there's one person left unhappy, you keep apologizing until everyone is satisfied!"
"Do you have to take it that far?" A chill emanated from Jonny. "Have you considered the consequences of your actions?"
"If I were you, I'd stop wasting my breath!" Liam responded icily.
"You have one minute to think it over. Once that minute is up, it won't be as simple as bowing and apologizing!"
"You haven't even heard of Titan Enterprises, and yet you have the gall to spout such nonsense. Ignorance is bliss, huh?" Jonny took a deep breath and continued.
"If you insist on making me apologize today, I guarantee you'll regret it!"
"Trust me, I always follow through on my threats."
"Is that so?" Liam's gaze narrowed slightly.
"All I originally wanted was for you to bow and apologize to everyone, but now I've changed my mind."
"I'm counting to three. Get down on your knees and apologize to everyone, or I'll break both of your legs!"
"Don't push me too far!" Jonny bellowed in rage.
"One!" Liam started counting.
Jonny, fueled by anger, spoke again.
"Jonny!" The gaunt elderly man walked up and whispered something into Jonny's ear.
After hearing the old man's words, shock flickered in Jonny's eyes, and his body shuddered involuntarily. "Are you sure?"
"Over 80%!" The elder nodded solemnly, a grave expression on his face.
Jonny exhaled a long, heavy breath.
After giving Liam and Robert one last look, he turned and walked toward the crowd nearby.
"Honey!" The woman called out after a moment of confusion.
"What are you standing there for? Come here and apologize!" Jonny hollered.
"Why should I!" The woman was not so easily subdued, yelling back. "Call now, bring more people. I swear they will kneel today."
"If you backtalk one more time, I'll break your legs first!" Jonny scolded furiously.
The woman opened her mouth to speak, but upon seeing the fierce look in her husband's eyes, she shivered and followed him.
Coming before the crowd, the couple knelt together.
"I'm sorry, cutting in line was our mistake. Please forgive us," Jonny said, taking a deep breath.
"I'm sorry, I was wrong. Please accept my apology!" Jonny's wife spoke at the same time.
