The weekend went by in a flash, as I was standing in the shower I thought about yesterday morning when Jojo asked me if I would ever leave her that would have been the best time to tell her I love her but I wasn’t ready yet, an I love you might have meant more than just my word but that was what I was capable off right now. At least I can actually admit it to myself that is already a big step. As I finished up in the shower Jojo walked into the bathroom. “Morning angel how did you sleep?” “Good thanks you?” “Like a baby.” “I’m not sure baby’s sleep.” She said smiling at me. “We’ll find out in just a few months won’t we.” “That is true, you still remember we have that doctor’s appointment on Wednesday.” “I’ve got it on my planner, a notification on my phone and if I’m not mistaken a note on the fridge.” “You making sure we don’t forget.” “Nope we will see the sex of the baby this time around.” “We will.” “I can’t wait.” She gave me a quick kiss “Me neither.” She said as she walked into the shower. She looked a bit off, probable just the fact that Riana is coming this morning, or I hope that is all. I got ready in one of my three-piece suits, put on some cologne and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. I was not even half way through when the buzzer from the doorman went off. Fuck they are early.
“Morning.” I said as I picked up the phone. “Morning Sir, here is a Miss Riana for you and some workers.” “Yes, it’s fine sent them up.” “I’ll do that Sir.” I went back to the kitchen to put the stove off and walked to the front door to greet Riana and the men that was going to work on our office. When Riana walked out of the lift, she was dressed in red, this time a red mini, red blazer, again no bra and red boots. If I was a judgmental person, I might say she looked a bit like a working girl, but I wasn’t judgmental so I’m not saying that it was just a bit too much. “Morning Coop.” She said throwing her arms around my shoulders. I stepped back and greeted her then the men. “Come let me go and show you what I need from you today.” She told the men. When I looked behind me Jojo was standing in the doorway dressed in a green mini skirt, a floral shirt and heels that showed of her great legs, she looked classy, sophisticated not like she wanted to pick up a man, like Riana did. “I’m just in the kitchen if you need me.” I told Riana, “Oh coffee would be nice.” She said touching my shoulder. “Sorry we don’t drink coffee in this house.” “No coffee Oh dear God I’ll have to bring my own.” “Why?” I asked shocked, she’s not needed here after she put the workers to work. “Well, when I come to supervise off course.” “Off Course”. I said as I walked to the kitchen.

When I woke up, I had that feeling in my gut that something was going to happen today. When I walked to the bathroom, I told myself I was just feeling this way because of Riana that was coming this morning, but my gut was telling me something else. I got in the shower and stood there for a few minutes just to get the cold feeling out of my bones. I felt like I should climb back into bed and not come out until the week was over, was it hormones? Possibly. Was it my overactive imagination that something will go horrible wrong this week? Also, a possibility. I just hope that it wasn’t the baby, I was finally accepting the baby, and I didn’t want anything to happen to him or her. I know I did my best to get rid of the baby, but I was so over it, I could actually start to feel the baby move and with every movement I fell more in love for him or her. It would be nice to know if it was a boy or a girl then we can start talking names. And talk about him or her.
When I got out of the shower, I chose one of my designer miniskirts and a floral shirt with it, it fit perfectly, with all the excitement of the weekend we never went shopping for bigger cloths I definitely need to do that this weekend, I should put a note on the fridge about that, so we don’t forget. When I was finally done with my hair and make-up I walked out of the room just to see how that Riana women was hanging on my man, I was not impress but I did see Coop stepping back, clearly he was also taken off guard. When she asked him for some coffee, I almost burst out laughing, you come to a client’s house to work and ask for coffee, my mother would have had a field day with this women but I’m not my mother which means I walked to the kitchen and went on with breakfast where Coop left off. “Can you believe that women?” Coop said as he walked into the kitchen. “Which part?” I asked him. “The part where she wants me to bring her coffee.” “Oh that, she seems like the type.” “Are you okay angel?” Coop asked taking my hands in his, “You look sad, like something is bothering you.” “No, I’m good I just have this gut feeling something is going to go horrible wrong this week.” “You think it’s the baby?” “No Coop I don’t think it’s the baby.” “Then it’s probable just Riana that is making you uneasy.” “Let’s hope that is all it is.” “I’m sure it is.”
