Chapter 32
Rosalina's Point of View

"You really are not going to tell me where we are going?" I asked. Kane had been driving for over an hour and all I could think about was where he was taking me. He told me the first time I asked him where we were going that it was a surprise.

"I told you for the tenth time that I am not telling you," Kane replied, and I sighed.

"I am not a fan of surprises," I said. After living with my mom all my life, I had a lot of surprises that were not great. That was why I hated surprises. I felt more comfortable knowing things in advance.

"I think you will like this surprise. We are almost there," Kane said, and I sighed. Kane placed his hand on mine and I looked over at him to see he was still looking at the road but had a smile on his face. A smile made its way to my face, and I began to feel more relaxed just by his touch.

"We are here," Kane said as he drove into an amusement park.

"We are going to an amusement park?" I said a bit excited. I had never been to one before. The closest I got to one was the state fair that Chrissy and I would go to every year.

"Yes, I thought it would be nice for us to have some fun. Unless, your head still hurts. Maybe I should have asked before bringing you here," Kane said worriedly

"My head doesn't hurt that bad. I am happy you brought me here," I said and Kane smiled at me.

"I am happy I could make you happy," Kane replied as he parked the car and we got out. He bought our tickets and unlimited ride wristbands.

"So what do you want to do first?" Kane asked

"Um, how about we go on that," I said as I pointed to the roller coaster that went upside down.

"Are you sure?" Kane asked

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I asked

"I don't know. I didn't take you for the type of person that would like roller coasters," Kane said

"Well, I do so let's go," I said as I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the long line. It took about twenty minutes until it was our turn to get on. I was a little nervous when we took our seat on the ride. I screamed and held onto Kane tightly as we went upside down. touching him made me feel safe. I felt like because Kane was there I nothing wrong could happen.

"That was so fun," I said once we were off the ride.

"I am happy you think so. I was honestly worried that you would panic or something," Kane said

"You know that was my first time on a roller coaster. I have never been to an amusement park before. Me and my best friend, Chrissy used to go to the fair in my old town but it wasn't much. They didn't have a lot of rides there," I said

"Well, I am happy I could bring you here. We can come back whenever you want," Kane said, and I smiled

"I might take you up on that offer," I said

"I hope you do," Kane replied.

"Oh, we are so wet," I laughed after Kane and I got off the water slide ride.

"Yes, we are. It's a good thing it's hot today," Kane replied and then my stomach growled. That caused Kane to chuckle and my cheeks to ridden from embarrassment

"I guess someone is hungry. Let's get some food before we continue," Kane said

"OKay," I replied. We ended up going to one of the food stands.

"What can I get for you?" the man at the stand asked

"What would you like?" Kane asked me. I will take a cheeseburger and fries," I said

"Okay, I will have the same and two of you large lemonades as well. You want an elephant ear?" Kane asked me

"I have never had one before," I said

"What? You have to be kidding me," Kane said with a shocked expression on his face

"Nope, I am not kidding," I replied

"Okay, we will take two elephant ears aswell," Kane said.

"These are really good," I said as I took a bite of the elephant ear.

"I knew you would like it. I can't believe you have never had one before," Kane said

"Well, thanks to you, now I have," I replied

"Um, I wanted to apologize to you," Kane said

"Apologize. Why?" I asked

"I wanted to apologize for the first night you stayed with me and I... You know. Did those things to you," Kane said

"Oh, do you regret what happened that night?" I asked. Just thinking that he regretted what we did made me feel pain in my chest.

"No, absolutely not. I liked what we did. It was amazing even though we didn't go all the way. I just don't want you to feel any regrets," Kane said

"I don't feel any. I liked it as well," I said

"Good."
