Chapter 75 Where Is My Daughter

Chapter 75 Where Is My Daughter
Damien

“Why did you make it go public? Why on earth will you alert the whole world about this?!” The alpha was in my house early in the morning, ranting and yelling after he had seen the news I had told the press to release.

Hazel hadn't been found for three days, and security agencies couldn't find her. The best and most efficient way was to let the mass public know. I added the news of her pregnancy so the sympathy would look so real.

She's pregnant, and she's missing. Anyone who has seen her somewhere wouldn't hesitate to reach out to inform the agencies.

“Because it's something we have to do,” I replied.

The alpha glared at me for some minutes before he scoffed. Then, he pointed a hand at me.

“You don't understand anything, Damien.” He said.

“That’s completely not something we have to do!” He paused.

“What we have to do is not make fun of ourselves on the fucking media, but fight Ethan!

The vampire lord must have taken her!” He added.

He took in a deep breath before he continued. “I don't care if you are not in on this, but I'm going to Ethan right now,” he said.

Before I could respond, he turned his back and walked out of the house, heading back to his car.

“Fuck!” I groaned. I rushed upstairs to grab a shirt and slid it on real quick. Then, I opened one of the drawers of my nightstand and brought a gun out. I loaded it with silver bullets and stared at it for a while before rushing downstairs.

Once I was outside, Baci appeared from a corner when he saw that I was about to get into my car.

“Should I come along, boss?” he asked.

“No, just stay back.”

I got into the car and drove off the compound. I was anxious and restless throughout the drive to the Alpha's house, but soon, I was there.

Seven people in wolf forms were lined up in his compound, and they looked so huge that I couldn't even recognize one of them.

I walked into the house, and Alpha Kimberly was just getting off the stairs.

He was still in his human form, and I assumed he wouldn't be changing while leading the wolves.

His eyes looked so dark and dangerous, and he walked past me with so much speed.

“You should stay out of this, Mr. Damien,” he said.

His words looked like they were said out of sarcasm rather than concern.

“No, I'm fine. I'll come along,” I said and hurried after him as he walked out of the house.

The wolves were still standing, waiting for the alpha.

Everyone looked so big and beautiful, and the different colors of their eyes looked so rare and unique.

The alpha stood in front of everyone and gave a speech.

“No one is being forced to fight against lord Ethan,” he said loudly.

“You are soldiers meant to serve me till your death, but I'm giving you an option to opt out if you want to.” He paused.

“But remember this, soldiers who die on the battlefield are always remembered for their great contributions, and not cowardice,” the alpha added.

He stared at his men, who were in front of him, as if he was expecting a response from the wolves.

They howled, their body bending down for some seconds like they were bowing to the alpha.

I heard the alpha exhale sharply before he moved away, heading to his car. The wolves sprinted out of the compound, and they ran so fast that everything I could hear was their footsteps as they faded.

The alpha got into his car and drove out without a word. I also followed quickly, doing the same thing as I drove behind him.

Soon, we were in front of the vampire lord's estate.

The gates were already open, and the werewolves had already gained entrance into the compound. Despite the gate still open, Alpha Kimberly still slammed them widely open with his car.

His car stopped in the compound with a loud noise, and I walked in after him.

My eyes blinked in surprise at what I saw in the vampire Lord's compound.

The seven werewolves that the alpha had brought were standing there like rogue dogs who are always ready to tear skin apart. And the vampires, too, were standing and baring their fangs.

The vampires weren't a few; they were close to twenty in number, but I didn't have time to start counting.

The alpha got out of his car, slamming the door so loud for everyone to hear.

“Call Ethan here, or I'll make every one of you bathe in your blood,” he threatened as he moved closer to them.

The vampires didn't move an inch, but they just acted like they couldn't hear him.

The alpha curled his fist and was getting angry at how he was being ignored by the little Vampires in front of him.

“You heard me right,” Alpha Kimberly gritted and rushed over to one of the vampires.

Before the vampire could slash or bite him, the alpha slashed his stomach with his claws. He turned over and trapped the vampire with his long claws on the vampire's neck.

“Now, anyone willing to go get the vampire lord? Or you lose one of your friends!” the alpha smirked while the wolves growled.

The vampire didn't look afraid, but it looked like they became more enraged with what the alpha had done to one of them.

Just then, we heard heavy footsteps as they approached. Everyone's gaze turned to where it came from, and my face widened with surprise for a moment.

The vampire lord, Ethan, was walking towards us at a fast pace, with Elaine and his bodyguard by his side.

Their eyes looked so darkened, and the vampire lord looked so enraged.

One of his hands was tucked in his pocket as he walked.

He finally stopped a few steps away from the alpha, tilting his head slightly to the side.

“I thought I'd just let you perform your madness and leave, Kimberly. But now you've overdone it.” his words were laced with something dark, something that indicated that things were surely not going to be easy here.

“Where is my daughter, Ethan?” The alpha said calmly to Ethan, walking slowly towards him.

“Where the fuck did you take my daughter to?” The alpha repeated, and this time, he was yelling. Then, he closed in on the space between him and the vampire lord.

“I can't scent her anywhere around here, Ethan. Where did you take her?” The alpha gritted his teeth while saying the words.

Lord Ethan chuckled. “If you can't scent her, then you should know that I didn't take your daughter.”

“Fuck you, Ethan. I'm not believing that bullshit!” The alpha roared before he snapped his gaze to his men, who were lined up behind him.

I moved backward and had my hand resting on my gun in case things blew out of proportion right now.

But with the way things are and the way the vampires and the werewolves are threatening each other with their fangs and claws.

I knew there would surely be blood.
