A pair of eyes that were sharp like a hawk, staring intently at the girl in front of him. Callista, who felt intimidated, turned her attention in another direction.
"They need to make a change of duty." Her gaze was still the same. He did not like her girl talking about other men in front of him.
A second later there was a long sigh. "Open this paper bag! It's yours."
Callista stared intently at the paper bag Kenward placed on her lap. She did not feel that anything was missing from her needs while she was here. So what was inside this jumbo-sized paper bag?
Callista's fingers moved to open the paper bag. Her eyes rounded fully knowing what was inside. Callista immediately held up a very beautiful dress. And of course, it had long sleeves and the entire length was below the knee.
She placed the dress next to her. Her fingers took turns taking out one by one the things inside. A hair band, high heels with a low heel height, and a wide purse that matched the color of the dress.
"Do you want to try it on?"
Callista nodded her head enthusiastically. She wanted to see how she looked in this beautiful dress.
"Alright, I'll go out and wait at the door. Change as soon as possible." After saying that, Kenward immediately got up and waltzed away.
Callista took off her outer clothes one by one and quickly replaced them with the dress that was next to her. Callista carefully placed herself in the wheelchair. A smile spread across her lips as she did so.
Callista turned the wheel to go somewhere. She looked at her reflection in the mirror. After feeling satisfied, Callista then turned to the hair band in her hand. Slightly styling her hair, Callista used the hair band until it looked very pretty on her jet-black hair.
"Come in, Kenward," Callista half shouted.
The sound of the door creaking could be heard. Kenward took a few steps in with his head still down staring at the floor. Callista who saw that was astonished.
"Are you done?" asked Kenward to make sure. Because he thought that as soon as Callista put on the dress, it would take approximately thirty minutes. And in fact, Callista only took fifteen minutes.
"Yes, of course."
Kenward straightened his gaze. His body was frozen where it was. His lips were tight with a pair of eyes that could not blink for a second.
Callista looked very charming in the nude-colored dress. The dress with the chest down to the waist was filled with beautiful brocades designed like half of a butterfly's wings. The embroidery consisted of nude and brown colors. The lower part of the brush, up to below the knee, was made up of multi-layered silk organza fabric. Her forearms were beautifully draped with layers of organza silk to reveal her milky-white skin. And to top it off, a ribbon adorned the beautiful black hair.
Callista cleared her throat once as she looked at Kenward who did not move an inch. If stared at deeply like that, anyone would make a mistake. Even now Callista's cheeks were made as red as tomatoes.
"Don't look at me like that. I'm not wearing any makeup right now."
Kenward walked up to Callista. "Even without makeup, you are very beautiful, Callista. And that dress was also made to look beautiful because you wore it."
Callista was covering her face with both palms at the moment. Kenward was very fond of teasing her these days. Of course, she would feel lacking without a touch of makeup. Any girl would feel that way if she were in his position.
Kenward continued to push Callista's wheelchair until it reached the sofa. He lowered one leg to the floor and folded the other leg to a 90-degree angle.
"Would you like to try this again?" asked Kenward as he took out a pair of tools from a paper bag he was carrying.
Callista's eyes lit up when she saw the tools right in front of her. Callista hurriedly grabbed the tools. The tools that would help her to walk. She liked this tool. Over and over again she pondered when she would use this tool again. And apparently, today was the day!
"I'll try it with pleasure," Callista replied with a big smile.

The sun, which had previously been shy about revealing itself by hiding behind the clouds, now boldly stood alone in the vast sky. Emitting light that also contained scorching heat.
A man in a dark gray tuxedo walked around the car. Callista in a maroon-colored dress, hooked her hand on the man's arm. Walking leisurely into a restaurant.
No sight escaped Callista's eyes. A restaurant that has high aesthetic value. There was a garden with a waterfall with a statue in the center. Along the way, she passed a stone path that had been made flat so that it felt like a normal road. A slender path that could only be passed by three people was lined up horizontally. Vines with beautiful white flowers greeted their eyes as they were about to reach the main door.
"This restaurant is very beautiful."
"Of course." Kenward's short answer made Callista furrow her brow. She just knew that a psychopath could also appreciate beauty.
A creaking sound was heard. The towering twin doors were opened wide by two doormen. Callista was astonished at the number of restaurant employees who greeted them by lining up vertically and making way for her and Kenward in their midst. It would have seemed natural if 1-4 restaurant employees greeted them, but there were currently more than 10 restaurant employees.
"Why are they all welcoming us?"
Kenward placed his other hand on top of Callista's. "Of course, they should welcome us because I own this restaurant."
Callista looked straight at Kenward. There was no lie there. It was true that she had wanted a burger so badly that she hadn't finished her bun and was sulking for more, but she hadn't expected Kenward to take her to his restaurant.
Callista pursed her gaping lips and quickly followed Kenward's lead. The man continued on his way without paying attention to Callista who was in shock.
"Adults are cool," she muttered softly with a wide smile.
