As directed by the restaurant staff, they sat on a bench close to the window. The transparent window led outside where the beautiful garden was visible. Callista unconsciously published a smile when she saw the garden again.
The scraping sound of the wheels distracted Callista. Three people lined up neatly to arrange the food on the trolley they were carrying. Callista, who was staring carefully, was stunned because the food in front of her was very tempting.
"Kenward, is this not too much? You bought so much," Callista said at last. Even as hungry as she was, she couldn't finish half of the portions that were placed on her table.
"Don't you remember the effort you put into sulking at me to get these foods?" quipped Kenward, who immediately received an unfriendly look from Callista.
Unable to resist, Kenward chuckled. Callista looks like a little bunny at the moment. He wanted to put her in a sack and put her in a jail cell.
Kenward shook his head. He was fighting with his mind. How could he still think of keeping Callista?
"Eat as much as you want, but don't get too full. There will also be a banquet at the meeting, it would be rude not to touch it."
Callista gave a small nod. Kenward gave a long and detailed explanation. However, she did not care much about that, because she always applied the principle of a full stomach and a happy heart. The heart is happy and the days can pass beautifully. The principle was a little strange.
Callista took one burger and cut it into two pieces. Wearing eating gloves, Callista took the half and immediately devoured it with a big mouthful. But what with her having so little storage in her mouth, her big bite looked like a small bite.
Kenward looked at Callista without boredom. The girl in front of him when eating also looked beautiful. Those were the words that were noisy in Kenward's mind.
Kenward put the spaghetti that had been neatly rolled on the fork into his mouth. After finishing it, he said what he had wanted to say all along.
"Is that food good for your tongue?"
Callista nodded her head. She wanted to reply to Kenward's words, but right now her mouth was full of food. She had to admit that the burgers here were among the best burgers she had ever tried. And of course, the best part was the meat. The meat tasted very premium.
Wanting something balanced, Callista popped a potato into her mouth in between munching on the burger. Her forehead furrowed with her circling gaze.
"Why is there no cola here?" asked Callista feeling something was missing.
Callista winced softly as Kenward suddenly pinched her cheeks. "What were you thinking looking for cola when your health is still like this?"
Callista smacked her lips. She was asking a question, not a request. Kenward's response was too much. The man assumed she was still a child.
Not wanting to argue, Callista took the third bite. Her smile widened again when she felt the sensation of melted cheese, soft meat, fresh vegetables, and sweet and savory sauce. What a perfect combination!
"You should try this burger. It's so good!" Callista pushed the plate that still contained one whole burger. The same burger as Callista.
"Are you sure you want to give this burger to me?"
"I'm not going to finish these two jumbo burgers by myself. You think I have a rubber belly?" Callista sarcastically. She was in the mood for a burger, but not to the extent of wanting to eat a huge amount.
Callista turned to the half-sliced burger on her plate. Standing up slightly, Callista offered the burger in her hand to Kenward.
"Try it, you'll like it."
Kenward took a small bite of the burger offered by Callista. In between chewing, Kenward nodded his head with an appraising look.
"Isn't it delicious?" asked Callista while raising her eyebrows.
"Of course. I don't hire just any chef."
Callista rolled her eyes in annoyance. Instead of answering with one word, the man in front of her answered with two sentences.
"Try mine."
Callista accepted Kenward's mouthful of spaghetti. Both her eyebrows shot up. She had never known such a delicacy. Her annoyance with Kenward instantly disappeared. Food is a true mood enhancer.
"The chefs here maximize the taste of all the menus. I alone choose whether or not the menu is suitable to be displayed on the menu list."
Callista just nodded her head. It was nice to have her restaurant. She suddenly wanted to set up a cake shop. She could eat cakes from famous chefs every day.
Callista was immediately distraught because she didn't realize that her bite was so big that she couldn't close her mouth. Her hand reflexively covered her mouth. Kenward who saw that couldn't resist pinching Callista's nose.
"Adorable."
Callista turned her face in the other direction. She was so embarrassed right now that she wanted to disappear into the earth. Please take her away from this embarrassment!

"My stomach is so full that it wants to burst," Callista said as she stroked her flat stomach. It was an advantage she had that all women coveted. No matter how full she was, her stomach would remain flat.
Kenward looked at Callista who was walking lazily. The girl had forgotten the manners that required her to link her hands to his arms. Well, but that wasn't important. Seeing the smile on that beautiful face made him feel happy.
Wait, what was he thinking? Being happy just because of that trivial smile? He could only feel that way when faced with the blood on his prey's body. Why had his body become strange lately?
Kenward stared at his palms in silence. Not noticing Callista who had stopped her steps earlier. The girl was left behind as he continued to walk forward.
"Kenward!"
The call woke him up. Kenward turned around and looked at Callista who had not moved an inch from her spot.
"Your pace is too fast and I can't walk anymore. My stomach is so full that it can't expend any more energy."
Kenward chuckled softly. He walked over to Callista. "Do you want me to carry you?"
Callista nodded happily. The man understood what she wanted and offered it without further ado. But her smile faded when Kenward turned his body and crouched down. The man was offering a back sling?
Callista shrugged her shoulders. Not a bad thing.
Kenward rose to his feet and slightly jerked Callista's body up to correct her position. This was the first time he had carried someone on his back. He felt like a fur animal was clinging warmly to his back.
A prank idea came to his mind. Kenward smiled wryly at the thought of what would happen if he did it. It was worth a try.
"Ready?"
Callista was a little confused as Kenward asked her if she was ready when he already knew the answer.
"Yeah," she answered in the end.
"We're off!"
"Huwaa!"
Callista's loud shout widened Kenward's smile. He was even more eager to run fast. The breeze hit his hair hard, but it didn't affect him to increase his speed.
"Don't run, Kenward, it's too fast!" Callista wrapped her arms around Kenward's neck tightly. Adhering her body to the stout back was like glue.
Kenward continued his running regardless of Callista's scolding. He was even more delighted as Callista pressed her body closer to his. The girl was clinging to him.
The small happiness that came to him made Kenward unaware that he was smiling broadly for the first time since the incident.
