Chapter 16

Chapter 16
Travis.

We left for Paris early this morning, when I went over to see Sitara before leaving to give her her present she was fast asleep.

I didn't want to wake her, so I just placed the book by her bed head and told head and asked her parents to tell her I stopped by. Tristan just sat in the car with our parents and didn't want to enter.

On the plan, we discussed how we would address the council, I mean, we could either go in and demand their help, or we can ask nicely.

Our flight was a long one, we mostly played board games, watched whatever was showing and then I went to sleep. I tried to avoid conversations with my patents for the time being.

After all this I'd done and dealt with, we could talk about the Luna title and their issue with Sitara.Either way, I already knew how the conversation would end.

My mother would be stepping down and Sitara will take her rightful place as Luna and if my patents doesn't want her in their life they are more than welcome to visit when we are at the pack house.

Well, because she would be living with us and I wouldn't like for her to be uncomfortable in her own space. I wasn't sure when we landed. All I knew was that Tristan was shaking me to wake me from my slumber.

Parris at night is beautiful, the lights the music, the people and the smell of frsh garlic bread leaving the oven along with the scent of freshly made tomato sauce from scratch.

The hotel wasn't too far away from the air port it was about a two minute drive. When we got to the hotel, we collected our separate room key and went our separate ways.

The first thing I did was take out my phone and send a message to Sitara letting her know we landed, then I ordered myself some room service, pulled out my laptop, and began going through emails.

I have a number of emails to respond to, I have investors that would like a share in one of the hotels I'm looking to buy and orders for some of my guest houses to fill.

After leaving college with my business degree, I didn't hesitate to try my hand in the new world. I took every dime my grandparents left for me and both my first guest house.

It took me almost a year to get it up and running, I was broke, and I was proud to break it. After one year of the guest house running, I took that money and went half with my grandparents when they both bought their property and built their retirement home.

Then after three years I took all my savings and profits and bought myself my very first hotel along with the help of my grandparents. I bought it from their friend.

Later, I went ahead and purchased another guest house and another hotel in half and half with my brother. That's how we are able to fund our pack and keep it a float.

Ping!!

Sitara responded to my message, letting me know she was glad we made it safely. She asked how the flight was and if I ate. No matter what or when just the thought of her, the sound of her voice or a message makes me smile.

I took the phone lay in the bed, and we messaged back and forth until her lunch was over and she had to go. A knock in the door caught my attention, and from the snell circling my room, I knew it was my lovely brother.

"I'm going about town for a little walk and maybe upgrade my phone as the 15 just dropped you wanna come with?'

"Yeah, let me grab myself a coat."

It's very rare for my brother to ask me to go places with him and much more rear for him to ask. Something is definitely on his mind, and hopefully, he talks about it.

"So what's up?"

I ask as we enter a men's store.

"I saw her with someone, and I can't stop thinking about it."

"You saw who?"

"Sitara, she was having lunch with a guy at work."

I was taken back by what he said.

"Dod, you ask her about it, or you just shut yourself behind the brick wall you always build?"

"I didn't ask her, I was going to, but he picked her up from work...."

"Why didn't you pick her up? Weren't you supposed to pick her up?"

"Yeah, but I got her mad, I think, and she said she would have her dad do it."

"Well I for one, don't think she is that type of person. Maybe there is an explanation for what you saw, and when we get back, we would ask her about it together."

He just nodded his head in response.

"Now, what do you think about this shirt? The blue brings out my eyes, doesn't it."

I laugh, holding the jersey against my chest.

"No ot brings out mine."

He grabs the t shirt and walks away, I can't help but laugh. When he isn't in his mode, he is great to be around, but when he is not, it's like a toxic waste book leaking out around him.

After leaving the clothing store we made our way through a mall, it's filled with people and filled with food. We made our way to the apple store and got ourselves upgraded, and then we continued strolling. Tristan pulled me into a jewelry store as grandma's birthday was coming up, and he wanted to get something for he.

We stayed there for about an hour until he found her two perfect gifts, a necklace and a tennis bracelet. I had something eows for grandma after all. How much jewelry can ine qoman have.

As we continued walking through the mall, we were stopped by a man dressed in all black. He had the golden pin qity tye werewolf head in rusted on it.

"Alpha Travis, Alpha Tristan Air Hermine of tye werewolf concil accept your audience and wouldn't like to meet with you tomorrow, November 27th, 2023, at the werewolf quaters

He gave us a black card and leaves.
