Chapter 11
Chapter 11
Sitara
"You have to help us."
"Who are you, hello."
"Help us, please."
"Who are you."
She is standing in front of me, then behind me, to the side of me. She looks like a character from one of those super natural television shows.
"Sitara, help us.... you have to find us."
"Find you where do I find you?"
" In the place you onced called...."
"Hello, where did you go..."
"He's coming, I have to go find us please before it's too late."
"Who are you, what... what is your name?"
she goes silent, and then just like it does in horror movies, her face appears once me, causing me to jump from my sleep.
I' m scared, my heart is racing, body shaking, palm sweating, and my eyes afraid to open . what the hell just happened. Who the hell was that.
"Do you know her sitara ?"
Lilly, my wolf asked.
"No, I don't think so, but I also feel like I have known her all my life."
"Hmm..."
Just as I had finally calmed down the door to the room, I was sleeping in slams against the wall. Travis and Tristan are both rushing to my side.
"What's wrong?"
Travis asked.
" The room is empty."
Tristan says.
"I'm fine, I just had another vision or a dream, whatever you would call it."
"Another, you had one before?"
Travis asked.
"Yeah, at the Ball when I touched that guy's hand, I saw our pack under attack."
"That happened a couple of days later, didn't it?"
Travis asked.
"Yeah."
Tristan said.
"What did you see ?"
Razor said, "I knew it was him his voice is much deeper than Travis own.
"A woman, somewhere. It looked like a packed ground but with no one. she kept telling me I had to find them. And that he was coming ?"
"He, who is he?"
Travis asked.
"I'm not sure."
I fold my legs and curl my hands under my arm pit. For some reason, I felt less nervous when I'm in this position. It helps calm me down.
"ok. I'll see if I could talk to Thomas when we get back and ask him if any of our kind ever had visions. "
Travis said.
"ok."
I replied.
I laid back down on the bed and pulled the blanket up to my waste, Tristan and Travis both stood to their feet to leave the room. I couldn't let them leave, I didn't want them to I was too afraid.
"Can you stay, both of you ?"
They both paused. It's almost as if they were shocked. I asked them to stay.
"You want us to stay here in your room ?"
Travis asked.
"Hmm, hmmuhhhh."
I shook my head as I closed my eyes.
"Amm.. ok, I'll take the couch, and Travis could take the floor."
Tristan said.
"Why should I take the floor? Why don't you take the floor?"
Travis asked.
"Because you're an Alpha, you must be ready to sacrifice for your pack."
Tristan said.
"You're an Alpha to, you know, in case you forgot."
"There is enough room on the bed for all three of us."
I turn my head, pull the blanket up to my neck, and close my eyes. Then suddenly, the bed dips on either side of me, and I froze. I didn't really think they would actually get in bed with me.
"You did say there was enough space for all three of you."
Lilly said.
"Hmm.... so ammm anything you want to talk about?"
Tristan asked.
"I want to ask something but I'm afraid you wouldn't know the answer."
"What is it ?"
Travis asked.
"Why doesn't your mother like me?"
A part of me is kicking at the air for asking that question, but another part, the curious part is begging for an answer.
"Don't worry about her...s"
"she thinks you wouldn't make a great luna. She thinks the other Alphas would laugh at us if they found out one mate is..."
"Blind in one eye."
I said softly, but not soft that they couldn't hear.
"What do you both think?"
"I think that you don't need to worry about any of that."
Tristan said
"I think you should, and you would prove them wrong."
Travis said.
"I think you would make the perfect Luna."
Lilly said.
The room went silent, and I was happy, I didn't want them to make me feel better, I didn't want words of comfort. I just wanted to cry myself to sleep and wake up refreshed. That's what I did
Saturday morning came quickly, and an alarm clock woke me up. The bed only had me on it when I opened my eyes and a note stuck on the lamp.
"Gone to grab us breakfast, Alphas."
With a little heart underneath.
Deciding not to stay down and depressed which I felt creeping up, I got up and showered, brushed my teeth, changed, and headed downstairs
"Ahh.. Sitara, you're awake, coffee?"
Their grandfather asked.
"No, thank you, I'm not a coffee girl. I'll just wait for Travis and Tristan to get back,"
He smiles and takes a seat by the dining table
"So the boys tell me you started having visions?"
"Yeah, the night of the ball is where I had my first one."
"And last night was the second, yeah?"
"Yeah."
"Did you ever have them, or did they surface after you found your wolf?"
"After I found my wolf and the Alphas."
"Well, my dear, it looks like you have a gift and a very powerful one at that. The last person to have ever carried that gift was a woman, and she died about ten years ago. She was from a wealthy pack and married to one of the strongest Alphas amongst us. what was her name again.... Sinatra, she was a beauty and humbled, too."
"What happened to her, how, how did she die ?"
I suddenly became interested, so interested that the hairs on my back began to stand at attention.
"Someone tried kidnapping her for her power, and when they couldn't get her, they tried to get the daughter. A nasty Alpha he is, in the end, in order to save the child or so the father thought he threw her over a cliff where she drowned and died."
My heart dropped, and my body got instant chills. That's so heartbreaking to hear.
"The Alpha who did it killed her parents and searched for her for years. He finally gave up some years ago and went into hiding, never to be heard from again.
The door burst open, and I bolted from my seat, my heart now beating a mile a minute, and my insides trembling like an earthquake just happened.
"Grandpa, you telling horror stories again?"
Travis asked.
"Just history, son, history."
grandpa said before siping from his coffee.
"We got you a bacon and egg bagel with some hot chocolate, and Tristan got you an oatmeal muffin. something about being healthy."
Travis shots a smile towards me and rolls his eyes.
"I'll have them both, thank you."
I say, taking the brown paper back from Travis hands.
"Sp.qhat story were you telling her grandpa?"
Travis asked before taking a seat next to us.
"I was just telling her about the last woman that ever had the gift she possesses now the gift of the wolf's eye. She died eight years ago. Her, her husband, and her daughter. Her name was Sintara, and she was from the most wealthiest pack the crimshaw pack."
Tristan Froze instantly and then looked over to Travis, who sat there silently. They were thinking about something. I'm not sure what, but I would love to know
