Wild Mind
My mind begins to go crazy again. No longer able to focus on one thing. It’s drifting between things, the person acting like me. If Ethan will be here, what tonight even is.
Then, Winter, of course, gets involved with her obsession with Darius and Hades. As if I don’t have enough things trying to drown me from the inside out, she is also partially focused on wherever Kellan is to ensure he’s close.
I try to focus on something or rather anything, that isn’t Darius and the closeness between us, but I fail. My mind slowly becomes obsessed with him.
“Kellan and I will join you to eat, then we...” I block out his words; they seem to become quieter and quieter. My hands move and pull him to me.
“Elara, did you hear me?” My head shakes at his words. I didn’t. I was too focused on feeling him touch me. His lips move down my neck, slowly biting and sucking. My moans are quiet as I begin to strip myself.
He doesn’t stop me. His hands begin moving quickly and helping me until we’re both naked. My hands stroke along his body, and he groans. His mouth continues to tease against my neck. He matches my movements, and we’re both fighting to lead.
Our mouths clash, and I push him back until I’m above him. My body moves against his, and I push down against his cock. His hands push me back over so he’s above me. His hips begin to move, and I fight for control.
Pushing us over until I’m above him, my hips moving as I capture his lips on mine. His hands stroke down my body, and I continue to control us and dominate him as pleasure floods through me. He moves and flips us, my body going to push him back over.
I hear Hades growl stop, and Winter whimpers and submits. My body goes to push against Darius but my strength has gone. I stare at him, and he laughs.
“Apparently, Winter likes to submit to Hades. So stop trying to dominate me.” I pout at him. I was having fun, and then Winter just submitted. Thanks, Winter. I hear her whine and give in. This time away.
Pulling him back to me, I kiss him as his hips begin moving faster. His body covers mine, and with every movement, my body feels like it’s on fire. The pleasure continues to build within me as I hear him growling my name, thrusting deeper and harder until I’m crying out in pleasure, screaming his name.
His hips slow, he stops, and I feel my strength return.
“Winter is a traitor.” My words are quiet. I was enjoying that I could control him.
He laughs slightly. “She’s not a traitor. You’re both opposites in some way. She won’t always submit.”
“She submitted quick, one word quick.” I get it, though. I felt it. She craved for Hades to force her to submit to him. Which spoils my fun.
“You need to eat. You might be late now.” He moves and gets dressed, as do I. As I got to leave, his hand stops me. “Where is your mark?”
I look down, seeing it gone. “I don’t know, I didn’t even realise it was gone.” What the hell does that mean? The mark shouldn’t be able to disappear.
His finger strokes down my neck. “Your neck is healing quickly. The marks are going.” He stands staring at me.
“I thought having a wolf meant I would heal quick?” Isn’t that the whole point?
“There is quick, and then, there is you. Those marks would take a few hours to disappear entirely; yours are already disappearing. Let’s just go eat.” He pulls me out. “It’s a good thing, as they would have raised questions as to who you had been near to make the marks on your neck.”
His words stop as we bump into Astrid. She glances between us, and Darius steps away from me, releasing my hand.
“Astrid, you’re late for food.” He looks at her.
“I was cold and came for a jacket.” She rushes past us. There is no way she didn’t see or hear.
“Come on.” He turns and walks down and I follow behind. Mentally taking a note to train Winter not to submit so quickly to Hades so I at least get a bit of fun.
Reaching the room, we walked in, and I smiled at Kellan. He’s talking to Sage. Callista is on the other side of him. I try to ignore it and sit down. I watch Darius take a seat a few spaces away from me.
I get it. Okay, Winter, no obsession over them. No growling mine or trying to claim them. People shouldn’t know yet.
At least I tried. If Winter doesn’t listen, then it’s not my fault. She’s focused on Kellan, though. Callista is leaning into him, talking and laughing.
I glance around and try to ignore them. It means nothing, even I know that, but to Winter, it makes no difference apparently because he’s hers.
Kellan looks at me and smiles. I force my eyes away from him to stop Winter from obsessing. Darius smiles at me, and I hear Hades in my head and feel Winter submit.
I want to shout at her for it, but it’s a good thing she listened and submitted right now. Still, I don’t understand it. When Zeus called out to stop while we were running, she listened and stopped. Other times, though, she doesn’t?
So, does she just enjoy submitting to Hades? I glance between Kellan and Darius, but their wolves are named after Gods. I laugh slightly, and everyone looks at me, confused.
“Are you taking part tonight?” Lyra looks at me.
“Everyone will be taking part.” Darius looks at her.
“I’m just wondering if she is safe? She could have killed Callista yesterday.”
“Callista was never in danger.” Darius points out, and he’s right, she wasn’t. He was there watching, ready for something to go wrong. Lyra simply nods and turns away from him before glaring at me.
The whole table is tense. Is it because we’re close to the end or because I have my wolf, and they now realise I’m not as weak as I was before?
