Chapter 18
Sana was waiting for Rishabh in his room thinking about her new life. While Rishabh was standing outside his room and thinking about today's event. He opens the door and enters the room. After marriage, the first time he saw Sana in a bridal dress. She was looking like an angel in that dress. Her eyes, her little chubby cheeks, her nose, her rosy kissable lips were killing him. He was not able to remove his eyes from her. Looking at her intensely, he goes towards the bed and sits close to her
Sana was looking towards her lap when She suddenly felt Rishabh's intense gaze on her. She looked upwards and saw that Rishabh was sitting on the bed close to her. She was feeling butterflies in her stomach due to his closeness. Rishabh give her a box and said," Sana, your wedding gift"
Sana accepted the gift with shivering hands and said thank you.
" Will you not open it?"Rishabh asked with his intense voice.
Sana opens the box and sees a very beautiful diamond set inside it.
" It's beautiful", she said while looking at the gift.
Finally, Rishabh got his senses back and got down from the bed and asked her to change her dress.
Sana nods her head then takes her dress from the cupboard and goes to the washroom to change her dress.
After Sana goes to the washroom, Rishabh is thinking about his behaviour.
" Are you mad Rishabh? What were you doing? Seeing her like that. I never got interested in any girl then why I was not able to remove my eyes from her. Sana, What are you doing to me?", Rishabh thought in his mind.
"Sana", he mumbled her name and felt a strange feeling in his heart.
" Forget all these things Rishabh and focus on your work ", Rishabh mumbled. After changing his dress, he took his laptop and sat on the sofa, doing his office work.
Sana comes outside from the washroom and sees Rishabh working.
" Who works on their wedding night??", Sana mumbled.
"Did you say something??", Rishabh asked her.
" No, did you heard something??, Sana said
" No, you sleep, I will sleep after completing my work", Rishabh said and started doing his work.
Sana goes to bed and sleeps on one side.
Rishabh completes his work around 1 A.M. He sees that Sana is shivering due to a.c so he increased the temperature and put a cover on her, before going to the washroom. After coming from the washroom, he goes to bed to sleep.
The next morning Sana wakes up early, gets ready and goes downstairs. Radha and Ashok were sitting in the garden, having their morning tea.
"Good morning aunty, uncle", Sana greeted his father.
" Good morning and no aunty, uncle. Call us mom, dad like Rishabh", Radha said while caressing her head.
" Okay, au...I mean mom", Sana said.
" Come breakfast is ready", Radha said and took Sana with her towards the dining table.
They were waiting for Rishabh when he came downstairs while fixing his coat.
" Rishabh, are you going somewhere?", Ashok asked.
" Yes dad, office", he said while sitting.
" Rishabh today is the first day of your marriage and you are going to the office. You can't go, you need to drop Sana at her house, it's a ritual", Radha said angrily.
" Mom, I have important work. Don't worry, I will drop Sana and in the evening I will pick her as well ", Rishabh said.
Rishabh drops Sana at her house. Sana spends some quality time with her parents. In the evening, Rishabh spends some time with her parents and both come home late at night.
One week has passed since their marriage. They talked very little with each other but they were comfortable with each other. Every day Sana does his work as a wife should do. She spent the whole day with her family. She waits for Rishabh late at night for dinner.
Today she was waiting for him. She was waiting for him sitting on the sofa.
Rishabh comes home and sees her sleeping while waiting for him. He nods in disbelief and goes to change his dress. When he came downstairs, Sana was awake and heating dinner for both of them.
While eating dinner, " you don't need to wait for me. I always come home late. I don't like to trouble anyone", Rishabh said to her.
" It is my right and responsibility both. Please don't stop me. I feel happy while doing this", Sana said softly.
Finally, Rishabh accepted his defeat.
" Want to go outside to have ice cream ?", He asked.
" Sure", she replies.
Both go outside and eat ice cream. During returning home, both of them spend some quality time on the beach. They were enjoying the sounds of waves.
" So tell me something about yourself", Rishabh asked, breaking the silence between them.
" What should I tell?", She asked while feeling shocked that he talked to her.
" Anything? I guess….", He replied.
" So let's play 20 questions?" She said,
" What are these 20 questions?", he asked being clueless.
" You don't know what a 20 question game is?" she asked shockingly.
"No", he replied thinking about why she is reacting like it is a sin.
" Okay! I will tell you", so she explained to him and in the car, they played 20 questions.
They get to know about each other, their likes, dislikes and all. Now they have become friends at least.
It is difficult for Rishabh to control himself since she is so beautiful and the only girl to attract him.
The next morning, Rishabh wakes up and sees time on his mobile. It was 6 A.M at that time. He felt a little weight on his shoulder. Sana was sleeping, keeping her head on his shoulder. He smiles seeing her sleeping like this. She looked like a cute baby. He kissed her on her forehead. He didn't remove his lips for some time. He finally controls himself and removes his lips from her forehead.
" What are you doing with me Sana?"He thinks while smiling.
He slightly shifts her and goes to the washroom.
Sana moves slightly in sleep. She opens her eyes and sees Rishabh's side. Rishabh was not there, the washroom door was locked so she understands that he is in the washroom.
She wakes up smiling. She doesn't know why she was happy today. She was feeling something in her heart. She was feeling like she was flying in the air.
Rishabh comes outside, " Tomorrow we have to attend a party so be ready, okay?" He told her.
" Okay!" She replied smiling
