What about her

What about her
"Hey there handsome."

Roselyn put her novel aside and smiled at her husband walking towards her bed.

Liam gave her a tender look as he pulled her into a warm embrace.

"Hello honey, everything fine here?"

A soft smile appeared on his lips.

"Dr. Wilson just got out a few minutes ago and he said I'm better. That is something to count on, right?" He gave a gentle nod and sat on the chair next to her bed.

"Yeah, that is nice. I really miss my wife too. Your side of the bed is colder now."

He made a pitiful expression, causing her to chuckle softly.

"Oh sweetheart, that is awful because I miss my husband too. I must say I don't prefer you sleeping here with me, Chris needs you more than I."

Concern crossed her features.

"Mhhh, but we should make sure that you are back at home by next week. I miss spending time with you, although we can't be private enough." He smirked at her.

"Urgh, tell me about it. The idea of waiting until the birth of this one is freaking me out!"

She sighed helplessly under his concerned gaze.

"Who says we are supposed to wait until 9 months?" He asked seriously.

"I don't remember doing it on my first one, is it recommended?" Her lips parted innocently.

"Yes, it is. We would be making our kid more healthier. Perhaps we should start doing this during four months." He uttered with a playful smirk.

"Wow, two more months to go. I guess."

She chimed in with hopeful eyes.

"I never thought I would walk in on a couple talking about sex the way you two do. Are you really that thirsty, Rose?" The both turned their heads to Nancy, whose arms were crossed while standing by the entrance.

"Jeez, you had to catch that. Babe, why didn't you lock? I'm not getting the end of this." Roselyn's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but Liam only laughed lowly instead of replying to her.

"Don't worry, friend, and you, Liam. Your secret is safer with me." Nancy continued teasing the couple before her.

"And what brings you here?"

Roselyn asked curiously, seeing her friend was still on duty.

Nancy glanced at the time on the phone as they waited for her response.

"Actually, it's currently my lunch break, and I had to come check up on you since we all know your husband might be caught in his tons of workloads."

She raised her eyebrows at Liam.

"You can relax, I am here now. Don't you have a date with Damon or something?" Liam leaned back and crossed his legs.

"I'm not sure, but I am on duty until six in the evening. What, Liam, you want to kick me out?"

She challenged him with her stern expression.

"No, you can stay here and listen to us speak about how we plan to please each other and the way I prefer her taking the lead." He said with calmness.

Disbelief flickered across both women's faces as Roselyn glared at her friend, a silent message to get her away otherwise Liam would spill their bedroom secrets.

"Gross, you shouldn't share that. Tell me when he is gone, Rose. I love you." Nancy shot Liam a look, softening at the sight of Roselyn's cute smile.

"I love you two, now bye."

Nancy walked out and closed the door behind her.

"Seriously babe, you said that to my friend?"

Liam nodded with a playful smirk.

"She talks too much. I had to make a plan to get her gone. Are you mad at me?" He caressed her left cheek.

"No, I am impressed you did right by that."

She shook her head, and they both burst into laughter.

"You are so silly, babe."

He held her hands, silence settling between them as they shared a deeper silent moment...

However, that didn't last when a knock came from the door, and Liam rushed to open the door.

His expression grew serious at the sight of his private assistant with a bouquet of lilies, and a small basket with treats and other vitamins the doctor had prescribed for Roselyn.

"Hello, Mr. Foster, these are for Mrs. Foster."

Grace gestured to the things in her hands.

Liam stepped aside and allowed her to walk in.

"Good afternoon, Ma'am. I see you are getting better now." Grace's face lightened when Roselyn looked at her.

'At least someone is in a good mood, rather than the bull guarding down here.' She shrugged off her thoughts and placed everything on top of a table next to Roselyn's bed.

"Hey Grace, it has been a while since I have seen your pretty face. Come sit here." Roselyn invited Grace to sit on one of the chairs.

Grace hesitated and turned her head back for Liam's approval.

Luckily, Liam's phone rang, causing a relief to her.

"It is fine, I have to take this by the way."

He flaunted his phone and got out of the ward room.

"Are you still scared of him?"

Roselyn let Grace's nervous glance and chuckled.

"Yeah, I believe everyone at work gets freaked out whenever he appears. In fact, I am the worst after the tea incident." Grace replied casually.

"I get you, so well."

The two of them continued with their conversation about work and interesting things occurring at the Foster Corporation.

Meanwhile, Liam was smiling widely in his car after receiving the great news from Jasper.

He had approved everything and was now checking his phone nonstop to see what probably could make his day after a long week of worrying and defending his wife.

10 minutes later, a notification icon popped on his screen, and he immediately clicked in to see.

The Prestons are not who they portray to be in the media. I think the whole continent has to know that Bruce Preston gambled a lot than he was supposed to. He ended up betting his company away, and now what he holds is just a title. Who knows what happens behind the scenes... Maybe a dangerous man rules the grounds but that is a story for another day because I have to share that Casey Preston can never date men because she is into women. The Prestons are not mighty, just broken people inside a famous name.

Liam frowned after reading the blog. What happened to dragging Michelle along with the Prestons?

He honked his car in frustration and drove to the warehouse, a place where Dan was still in Ethan's hostage.

"Damn you, I don't recall agreeing on only this. What about her?" Dan almost jumped in fright, except his feet were tied to the chair, with one hand cuffed to a steel pole.

Amusement flickered in Ethan's face as he stood firm and watched his boss scold one of their new enemies.

"I apologise for not giving you guys what you want. Unfortunately, that is not how I write."

Liam's expression darkened but still waited for Dan to explain.

"If you want to drag them, at least make it interesting. One person at a time. I've got tales to tell."

Liam glanced at Ethan.
