2: Wedding

I barely slept, I felt like I was floating. I had so much fun and I still can't believe what happened. All I asked for was for Jacob to like me, but fate gave me more than that. He will marry me.

I got up early to get ready. Jacob will come today to talk about our wedding.

I wore pants and a t-shirt. I can't get dressed because I was too big. I don't look good on dresses.

I put powder and liptint. I don't wear make up anymore because my face is sensitive. I might break out again. New acne has no space on my face. My lips and eyes are the only ones that don't grow pimples. As I grew, I literally grew because my weight increased more and more. Then since I had my period, I haven't lost acne either.

"Good morning, Mother Sion," I greeted our old trustee. She is like a mother to me, because my mommy died when she gave birth to me. Daddy never got married. He chose to take care of me and grow his businesses. Mother Sion is a single mother, she's my friend, Cora's mother. We grew up together, we are like sisters. She is the only friend I have.

Cora is also awake. She prepares our breakfast. Daddy and I ate together. Daddy is happy now, but he can't hide the nervousness he feels for me.

I hugged him. "Don't worry, Daddy. Jacob and I will live here after the wedding, okay?"

"Jacob has a house and it's closer to his work, Precious."

"I'll miss you, daddy." He laughed and ruffled my hair.

"Get used to it, dear. Daddy won't be here forever. I'm happy to put you in peace."

I suddenly thought of something that had been bothering me since last night. Why did Jacob suddenly propose? Did something happen that I didn't know?

Daddy and I had tea in his study room. And then I decided to ask him what was on my mind.

"Dad, did you talked with Jacob before my birthday?"

Daddy coughed. "Have you seen one of our properties?"

"Daddy?" I looked at him with raised eyebrows.

He took a sip and watched me with a smile. "He likes you and he asks me your hand for marriage. I know that you like him, so..." He shrugged. "You're at the right age to get married. I won't worry anymore when I disappear from the world."

"Daddy! Don't say that. You will live a long time. Up to 100 years old." He laughed.

"I hope so. I want to see more of my grandchildren. I want to take care of my grandchildren.. have more children, huh."

"That's a lot."

"You can raise them properly."

Wedding. It hasn't all sunk into my brain yet. I don't even know if Jacob wants us to have children. And how many children does he want?

Jacob arrived at lunch time. He said he still had a meeting earlier.

We planned about the wedding. Daddy wants a grand church wedding, but Jacob wants a beach wedding and only selected guests. We only have few relatives. I like that too, because I don't have any friends. Beautiful wedding at sunset. This is Jacob's idea. I just found out that he is romantic. He is a serious person. He had girlfriends but he didn't seem sweet to them. Or maybe he just wasn't serious about them then. I'm a lucky bitch.

We only had two weeks of preparation, before the wedding. I'm thrilled because Jacob seems to be in a hurry to get us married.

"Tomorrow, I will go with you to fit some dress," said his mommy who will soon be my mother in law.

"Okay, Auntie," I said shyly.

"Mommy, daughter." My cheeks are red from embarrassment.

"Oh, we'll go first. I'll just pick you up here tomorrow."

"Go ahead, M-Mommy." Jacob also joined them in leaving. He said he had a meeting again. I still want to talk to him. But it doesn't matter, by the time we got married we were together every day. And we even sleep next to each other.

I was thrilled.

"That's awesome! What were you thinking, huh?" Cora tempted me.

"No-Nothing."

"Okay. I'm leaving. I'm going to buy a present for Mom.".

"Do you want me to go with you?" I asked my friend.

"No it's okay. I can do it, you have some more work to do."

"Yes. But are you sure I won't join you? I can do my work tonight."

"I can handle it. I'll go ahead."

She hastily left. She booked a cab. She did not use her car. I gave it as a gift for her birthday last year.

I also went upstairs. I have a lot to do and I can't be overwhelmed with work, especially since I plan to take a few weeks off after the wedding. I want to serve Jacob. We haven't talked about honeymoon yet. Honeymoon. We will do that thing.

I should get waxed tomorrow, so I'm honeymoon ready. I'll also go to a salon and get a body scrub to remove the impurities from my body.

I'm excited. I worked hard and didn't realize it was late at night.

I'm hungry but I thought I need to go on a diet so I won't eat tonight. I'll just drink a lot of water and then I'll just go to sleep.

I took a shower first and before going to bed I texted Jacob.

"Hi, are you home yet?"

While I was waiting for his reply, I changed his registered name in my contacts.

Hubby... That's what I replaced.

"Just got home."

I frowned. Didn't even ask what I was doing. But it's okay that he replied. He never texted me before. Even when I greet him on Christmas, new year, valentines day and his birthday. Even when it was his mommy and daddy's birthday, I also texted him to greet them but he didn't even reply.

I sighed. I'll just go to sleep.

My cell phone beeped. I wasn't going to look at it but I caught a glimpse of hubby's name.

"Go to sleep. Goodnight, wife." I was in awe. Seriously, my hubby is so sweet.

My lips almost tear from the size of my smile as I type out a reply.

"Goodnight too, hubby." I also put emoji kisses and hearts.
