“How did I have such a stupid daughter as yourself?? You saw the woman in Aryan’s house and you still had the guts to go insult her and call her a whore?! What are you thinking?! Even if she’s a slut, she’s in Aryan’s house! Of course Aryan will protect her because he doesn’t want to be embarrassed!” Ethan said. As a man, he knows how most men think.

They won’t stand up for the women that they are with because they really care about those women. It’s because they can’t stand to be looked down on. They don’t want people to look down on them and so they will give everything that they have to stand up for the woman.

Basically, it’s just protecting their pride and ego! How can Linda not know something this simple?! She even went to scold the woman and call her a whore!
“Dad! Are the both of you still my biological father and brother? The both of you are supposed to be on my side right now! My side! What are you doing right now?! I just made a mistake! Reed said that as long as I go apologize then everything will be fine! Why do you have to keep making a mountain out of a mole hill? You said that I did something wrong! Did you even try to find out the respond why I did what I did?!” Linda asked angrily. She did it because she likes Aryan! She just could not stand one cheap whore staying in Aryan’s house and even using his money the way that she liked! She even went ahead to tell her that she is jealous! What can she be jealous of?!
“Did you not do it because you like Aryan Seagrave? So what if you like him? Now that you’ve made him angry is anything good coming out of it?? No! Nothing at all! The only thing that you were able to get is the fact that he’s so angry with you right now! Do you think that our family can settled this for you again this time? Aryan Seagrave is someone that we don’t dare to offend! Even if you like him, keep it in your heart! How dare you make a mess of things?!” Ethan asked angrily. He knew that it will be good for him if his daughter gets married to Aryan Seagrave. But in this case, she wasn’t able to get him to like her. She even somehow got the man to hate her! How can he expect anything from his daughter?! Since she wants to spend his money, she should spend it without causing trouble for him! Now he is the one who still had to clean up after her

“Dad, can you please just stop acting like you are the saint here? You’d be the happiest person if Aryan and I get together because then it will mean that your company will get better and better! Since it didn’t work you want to blame me for it?? I admit that I didn’t do it well but you will surely be happy if the both of us get together!” Linda said. She did not yet why her father and brother were blaming her so much. She knows that they will be more than happy if she actually did get together with Aryan! .
Ethan did not deny it!
“Yes. I’ll be happy if you get together with Aryan Seagrave! It means that you no longer know how to only waste money and that you are actually helping us now. As long as you can get him to like you, it will be good. I’ll find a way to get him to marry you then. It doesn’t matter how many women he has outside. You will be the only woman who will be his wife. Isn’t this great? But you don’t even have the brains to win a man’s heart. Since you don’t, then don’t try to do anything! Just let your brother and I arrange everything for you the way that it had always been! Why are you trying to get ahead of yourself?” Ethan asked angrily. He felt like he was going to lose his mind soon because of his daughter!
Linda looked at her father blankly. She really did not know what else to say to her father. They had just told her that she is stupid and that she can’t do anything right.
“Dad I….” Linda tried to look for words but she did not have anything to say. Deep down, she knew that her father and brother are actually right. She can’t do anything right. They have always been arranging her entire life for her.
But she really likes Aryan! She wanted to try to fight for the man that she really wants for once. But she ended up messing it up. Her career was ruined, and her father’s company was in a deep mess.
Linda still remembered what Reed told her. As long as they don’t solve this issue soon, the company will go bankrupt. Then they will need to go from rich people to paupers. She will really have to work hard and not just depend on her Father and brother if she wants to survive.
Linda didn’t want such a life. She still wanted to continue rye carefree life that she has right now. .
Reed waited until he was sure that his father had scolded Linda enough. He did not want to let her off easily because he knew that if they don’t talk to Linda well, once this issue is solved, she will be back to her old ways sooner or later. .
When he was sure that his father’s words had sinked in to Linda’s brain, he spoke up.
“Dad, since it’s already like this, it doesn’t make a difference even if we scold her for the entire day. We should think of how we are going to get ourselves out of this situation. The best way is to apologize to Aryan!”
