Ethan was angry when he heard the overly righteous way that Linda was speaking. He realized that he is the one who spoiled her. He let her do Whatever she wants and now she really thinks that she has the entire world in the palm of her hands!

“Can you please just shut up Linda?! Do you know how you have affected the company?” Ethan asked angrily. He can pamper his daughter. But she should not affect the company that he painstakingly built up all by himself!
Linda was scared to see her father talking this way. She never expected that her father will scold her. And even much more worse then Reed scolded her.

“Dad, I ….it’s not my fault…I was set up! Everything was going fine ..I just don’t understand where it all went wrong” suddenly, Linda did not have the boldness to tell her father what really happened.

“It’s not your fault? Then tell me whose fault it is! What the hell actually happened?!” Ethan asked angrily. He had heard that his daughter got into trouble and that it even affected the company. But he hasn’t had enough time to ask his son what really happened so he doesn’t know how it all started. Ethan as a seasoned business man however was able to tell that someone was taking revenge on his daughter.

Linda’s heart skipped a beat when her father asked this. She turned to look at Reed for help but Reed looked away from her. He made it clear that he won’t be helping her and that she will have to deal with it on her own.
Linda really felt like crying even more now. She had no one to help her. She is all on her own.
“Go on, tell me what actually happened. Who did you offend?” Ethan asked. He knew the temper of his daughter well and he knows that she is always going around offending people. It’s alright if he and his son can deal with the person that she offended but it Linda upsets someone who is more powerful that he is then it will really be the end of his career then!
Linda knew that she was all on her own she she had to brave it. She had to tell her father the truth.
“It’s….it’s Aryan Seagrave” Linda said.
Ethan felt like he was going to have an instant heart attack when he heard this name. His daughter is really the bane of his existence!
Is there a person who doesn’t know Aryan Seagrave in the city?! His daughter just had to go offend him!
“You….you really just want our entire family to be finished right? That is why you are doing this! You can do whatever you want with your life…we even spent money to give you the career that you said that you wanted. But you went ahead to offend someone who can bury our entire family alive! What exactly do you want?. And how exactly did you even manage to offend him?!” Ethan asked. He really had to hand it to his daughter. She was always bringing up all kinds of trouble for him to solve!
Linda looked at Reed, hoping that she will at least help her out of his situation. But Reed glared at Linda. His eyes said that he had no intentions of getting involved in this.
“What are you looking at me for? Since you’ve dared to do it you don’t dare to admit the things that you’ve done?! Go ahead and explain to dad how you offended Aryan Seagrave!” Reed said angrily. Yesterday, his heart softened when he saw how pitifully Linda was crying . But he lost all of that when he went to work this morning and saw that the entire company was about to come crashing down! How on earth did he have such a dumb sister who can’t help but keep dragging their entire family down?!
Reed thought that Aryan just wanted to give them a small warning and that it will all be fine in a while but he was wrong! Aryan wants to bury the entire company!!
Linda sighed as she started to tell her father everything.
“A few days ago….he asked me to deliver some female clothes to his house….I did that…but the woman there, she was rude to me. You know me I lost my temper immediately and left. She’s just a cheap slut who’s sleeping with him for money. Why should I care about her? I…I left in anger. I felt that I should tell Aryan about the kind of woman that he keeps in his house and that she is up to no good but…he didn’t want to listen to me .. when I was in the house the both of us argued. I called her a whore. He called his housekeeper and she said that she was told him that I called the woman a whore but she didn’t tell him that she insulted me too. He said….he said that he is going to get back at me for calling his woman a whore….I thought that he was just trying to scare me! Who knew….” Linda could not hold back her tears again. She started to cry.
Ethan who had never laid a hand on his daughter since she was born suddenly had the urge to slap her to death now! How can she be so stupid?!.
She saw the woman in Aryan’s house and she still went to insult her?!.
“How did I have such a stupid daughter as yourself?? You saw the woman in Aryan’s house and you still had tht guts to go insult her and call her a whore?! What are you thinking?! Even if she’s a slut, she’s in Aryan’s house! Of course Aryan will protect her because he doesn’t want to be embarrassed!” Ethan said. As a man, he knows how most men think.
They won’t stand up for the women that they are with because they really care about those women. It’s because they can’t stand to be looked down on.
