Chapter 31

Today was different, The atmosphere and the place everything seem so different yet the same. The last time it was here I was just here is Eliana Porter but now I am here as the daughter of the Parker a family. It is a different feeling especially when I'm not even sure if Mr Parker is my father but I know that we are related and that is why I am here. The one thing that I've noticed about secrets, is that they eat you and eat you and then they still come out despite your best efforts of keeping them hidden and that is why I feel like it is better if we sort this out before it comes from a third source.

"So finding out that you are my daughter has made you think that you can come into my house as you please "Mr Parker said. This man clearly has a problem with me and I don't even know what it is. "Sorry to bust your bubble Mr Parker but your wife actually invited me here and thank you for finally recognizing me as your biological daughter so I think I have a right to be here "I am stared back at him I ,was honestly tired of people who think that they can walk all over my head and actually get away with it.

I am not a pushover naturally but because of my grief I was just keeping quiet and just taking whatever people threw at me but now I am starting to heal and if they throw something at me and I give it right back, somebody shouldn't say anything if they're unable to take it back.

"oh so you know all about rights but you are denying Ali her right "he taunted. Of course that daddy's little girl told him and he obviously supports her. I think he might be the one who even gave her the idea to do this. "Why do you hate me so much, I have never done anything to you but it's almost like you're disgusted with me or something. Help me understand because I don't get it." This man obviously has a bone to pick with me.

"I don't hate you, I mean what would even give you the idea that I hate you "he said but his eyes didn't match his words and I have a way of reading peoples thoughts through their eyes. The way things are going so far I wouldn't even be surprised if Mr Parker already knows that I'm not his daughter because of his behaviour it's almost like he's making me pay for a faultI didn't even make.

"You literally ignore my presence, it's like l don't exist to you and l just want to know why" l begged him but he didn't bulge. He started collecting his office bag and files.

I honestly envy Mr Parker he's just making this whole thing seem like it's not there ,it was like he lives in his own world at this whole thing has an affect on him and it's affecting the rest of us. This is a significant change in all our lives except his.

"l don't want to talk about it" he shunned me and l frowned. Running away from this wasn't going to solve a thing. "Just tell me way" l whisper shouted but l was shell shocked by the look he gave.

"Do not start a fire young lady because l guarantee you that you won't be able to stop it from burning everything "he said menacingly and l flinched.

I set an on the living room waiting for Mrs Parker and luckily she didn't make me wait for long.

I heard you talking to Alexander "I hope he wasn't rude to you, I know he isn't exactly accepting about having you here but I really want you here and I'm glad you came to see me "how can such a loving soul ever cheat on her husband especially with a relative ,something really didn't make sense.

"I hope you don't mind if we go out to eat instead of being here." I've often had a saying that walls have ears and this isn't something that I would want another person to hear and tell Mr Parker ,the man is a rude ,obnoxious already imagine if he knew the truth then I'm afraid for my mother sanity.

"yes no problem "she said happily as she ran upstairs to take a bag but luckily she didn't waste time. We choose to go to a small quiet intimate chines restaurant.

"Who is my father" l asked out of no where. Mrs Parker looked at me wide eyed. "What"

"l know the truth but l would prefer to hear it from you" l lied.
