Returning to New York brought back memories. But there's one thing I'm really sure of– Reno is the last person i ever wanna see now.

So where will i stay.?

Without much options, i headed to the Walker's mansion. The chilling silence made me shiver for a moment. It's over three months now since Wendy kidnapped them. Who knows if they're stoll even alive.?

And now Wendy is with Rexy. This is going to me way much tougher than I thought.

Stepping into the empty living room, there was no single house servant remaining.

My phone suddenly rang. “I knew you'll return there" Wendy's voice immediately came through when the line connected.

“How'd you know.?" I asked, suspicion enveloping me already.

“Well.. i can see you, watch your every stupid move. Right now, you're standing by the living room window" she snickered.

I looked around confused, my hand shaking s bit. Then i saw a tiny speck of flashing red light. She installed cameras in the house. Pathetic.

“Well your little scheme won't work on me idiot. I'm going to take down that your foolish camera right now" i scoffed and reached for the camera but was electrocuted.

Wendy's loud, mocking laughter came from the other end and i gritted my teeth in fury.

“I guessed you absolutely loved my little gift. I have an even bigger one for you" she mocked and five suited men rushed into the living room from upstairs.

“I'll be glad to have you in my husband's palace ‘sister’” she snickered.

" You've married Rexy.?”

" Of course. Atleast I'm now a wife and not a mistress still trying to cozy up to a man trying to build a family” she sneered.

My fists clenched and my resentment for Reno multiplied.

" Guys.! Stop wasting time and bring her to me.!” She commanded.

The first guards that came forward found himself on the floor groaning in pain without even knowing what happened to him.

I launched a kick unto the other one face, knocking him over the the others. But the quickly recovered and tried attacking together. I effortlessly dodged their blows and stylishly made my way to the kitchen.

I snatched up to glass cups and smashed them on the counter. Before they could react, i stabbed it into an eye of the one nearest to me.

As i was distracted by that, one of them tried attacking from behind but I've sensed it already and spun around suddenly, stabbing him on the stomach with my other hand.

I lunged at the last one and slammed his head multiple times on the counter till he passed out cold.

“Your gifts are pathetic" i spat at her through the still connected call.

“I didn't expect much from them either and they didn't disappoint. Just a bunch of useless henchmen. Now for the main surprise….”

My nose wrinkled as i smelt something off. I quickly tied my nose with my handkerchief.

" You can't resist this gas sis. Just give up now before it's too late and it does something more extreme”

I ran towards the door and tried opening it but it was sealed firmly shut.

“Fuck you.!" I cursed at her and snatched the center table, trying to use it to smash the window.

But the instant it made contact with the glass, i was electrocuted and sent flying backwards.

Wendy's mocking laughter filled my ears again as my vision gradually blurred. With my last bit of consciousness, i sent a distress message to Reno before passing out.



A loud sound in my head like a blaring siren made me want to scream. I opened my eyes again but i felt much lighter than i supposed to.

But no time to bother about that now. I woke up in a dark, vast and empty field. Strange noises came from the bushes behind me– lurking wild animals.

I looked around in confusion and saw a tiny bean of light afar. Clinging unto the hope of finding an explanation, i ran towards it with all my might.

By the time i go to it, i was panting in exhaustion. But when I reached out to touch it, it vanished and appeared in a different spot.

I ran towards it again and it moved. We played the rigmarole for some minutes till i was exhausted and almost gave up.

“I'm just trying to get answers" i muttered and tried again. This time, it let me pick it up and examine.

It's exactly the kind of spherical crystal balls i saw on the final round of my trial.

As i held it, a bursting light erupted and i quickly threw it down in fright.

A figure emerged from the blinding lights. The light gradually receded and that familiar figure came into view. Long white hair and slender figure.

“Finly.?”

" Yes master it's me” she replied smiling and bowing down slightly.

“Where have you been all these while.?" I accused feeling wronged.

“I've been trapped here by Charline that's why i couldn't communicate with you. Her spell on you is gradually loosing effect that's why you can see me now. But only you can completely set me free from here now” she told me.

" How.?” I replied in confusion.

She stepped forward and pointed at my shoulder. " The celestial tune you played during your trial master. Hum it to activate your tattoo” she urged.

Closing my eyes, i paused and listened to the whistling breeze in my ear.

I slowly began to hum it, and a cool and gentle breeze blew over me. My blood began to flow faster and i felt that energy surging through me again.

A faint glow of light began to emit from my shoulder,clearly forming the pattern of my tattoo. The crown, sun and wings.

Then a blinding light bursted from the sun, illuminating the long stretch of field before us.

My feet lifted off the floor and I began to float mid air as i got nearer to the end of the tune.

I was gently lowered back to the ground immediately the tune ended, but my tattoo was back on my shoulder now, emitting a faint golden light.

“We need to go back master, Rexy is coming"
