“Too much noise"

Reno coldly scolded the horrified man. “Since he can't do it, let me help him"

He stomped straight on kaki's head and slammed his face on the dusty floor. He pressed down hard till kaki swallowed enough dust.

A kick on his chest sent the bastard spawning to the ground and rolling in the dust out of agony.

With another flicker of his finger, kaki clothes was set ablaze. His mouth was wide open but no sound came out.

His clothes burned but his skin didn't before the fire quenched. He was lying stark naked with burns all over his body.

Reno picked up a cup from the nearby table and slowly poured the content over him. Kaki couldn't bear the torture and passed out.

“We'll be back when you wake up" he reassured the fainted man and turned back to us.

“I'm sorry for every vile insult he said to you" Sipho apologized, seeing my sour contenance.

I nodded lightly and looked up at Reno. “What did you pour on his burns.?"

“Salt. It's a torture but will also prevent the wound from getting infected" he explained, taking my wrist and helping me to my feet.

We returned back to the hospital. Susan, which is Sipho's sister name is out of ICU but not yet in the condition for visitors to come in.

Her beautiful baby girl was put in the incubator because he was born prematurely at eight months.

I checked the time and it was already 2:40am. I was really exhausted after getting no sleep and began to doze off on the hospital waiting arae. Soon, i was fast asleep.

When i opened my eyes again, i was back on my bed in my hotel room. Soft breath fanned my neck from behind startling me.

Reno was there sleeping peacefully, the sun streaks raining on his eye lashes and hair making him look like an angel.

Mischievously, i picked up a marker and crept to him, attempting to draw something silly on his face. “Is that your unique way of saying good morning.?" He suddenly said with his eyes still closed.

I pouted like a toddler whose toy was broken and turned away. “I was just trying to wake you up" i lied.

He sat up and wrapped his hands around my waist from behind. “I know my princess and i wasn't objecting to it"

“You did." I fired back.

“I'm sorry ma'am" he whinned like a little puppy. I laughed at this adorable look and painted a dog nose for him with the marker.

Catching me off guard, he snatched it and drew cat whiskers on my cheek.

We continued to and fro till a sharp knock sounded at the door, disrupting us.

I tried going to answer but he pulled me back lovingly. “I'll go get it myself princess"

But after sometime, he hasn't returned back and was in a heated argument with the other person. Who dares argue with Reno.?

A bad feeling crept up to my throat but i calmed myself down, standing up slowly to go see who it was.

Of course it was her

" Finally the bitch who has refused to let my fiancee be decided to show her face.!” She gloated immediately she saw me appear.

" Charline.!” Reno sharply called out his eyes cold." Why did you come.?”

" I came for you my love. The baby needs his father by his side” she replied coyly, rubbing her protruded stomach.

“Who told you where i was.?"

“I did, brother" that voice confirmed.

Rexy.!

Charline smiled. “He was such a great help finding you. Hello Wendy.!" She greeted the person behind Rexy.

My eyes nearly plopped out in shock as Wendy, dressed in a high end gown and triumphant smirk appeared.

“Hello sister" she greeted me and I scoffed, “hello 'sister’

She hooked her hand with Rexy's and rested her head on his shoulder. I gave her a disgusting look and turned away.

“I presume the princess hasn't forgotten we have scores to settle.?" Rexy asked casually.

I smirked. “What you're looking for, i don't have it anymore and i presume the person you brought here must have told you that I'm not the real princess"

“On the contrary ‘Emma’ you're the princess. I was the one who hid your tattoo under your skin. I don't have the power to undo it but it's just a matter of time before it surfaces again" Charline proudly confessed.

“I've known you were the one all along." I replied nonchalantly.

“I'll be waiting to reclaim what is mine Emma. My eyes are on you. And– it was nice seeing you again ‘brother’. Make sure to protect your price well” Rexy snickered and walked away with giggling Wendy.

“Your baby needs you Reno.!" Charline continued screaming, attracting the attention of the other patrons of the hotel.

“Get out." I coldly ordered Reno as he tried following me back into the room.

“Emma.."

“Leave.!" I screamed and slammed the door shut in his face.

Throwing all my personal effects into my bag, i texted Sipho. “I'm returning to New York today. Something urgent came up and i need to leave now. You can come spend the remaining days of my room reservation and I promise to send someone to come for you guys as soon as your sis is strong enough to travel”

When i came out of the room again, Reno was gone.

I boarded a taxi to the airport and booked an emergency ticket for the next plane. With additional fees of course.

Sitting at the airport and watching people, i remembered the day i met Sipho and couldn't help smiling softly.

“Need help madam.?”

That familiar voice suddenly came from behind me.

I smiled softly and hugged him. "I promise to come back for both of you. No one Will hurt you again" i whispered in between tears.

"i know you'll miss. Have a safe flight back." He replied over the blaring announcement of the bursting airport.

Climbing up the airstairs, i waved him goodbye.
