But no time to think.

I cut Arianna off and called the Walker family who were still reeling from their kidnap and release.

“Come over to the shayan mansion now!" I screamed into the phone immediately the line connected.

“What's going on sis?" Noah asked but there was no time to explain.

“Just do as i say and get mom and dad to safety" i simply replied and hung up. Reno switched on the tv and a news channel was broadcasting about the chaos in the country as everyone was running for their lives.

A chilling unearthly wind was blowing, freezing everything it came in contact with. Anyone that tried running froze on the spot in that posture.

Just then, the connection cracked and disconnected. “They're close" Reno said in a grave voice and hugged me, kissing my temple.

“Who's doing this?" I softly asked. “They're from heaven. This is one of the ways heaven shows it's anger and wrath. If it were to be from hell, everything in sight will be burnt down" he explained staring out the window.

Just then, Noah called back to inform me they were in the mansion. “Tell them to get everyone down to the basement. No one should think of coming out till we say so" he said and I relayed the information.

“You too Max. You're not safe here" Reno softly said to the stunned Max who was listening to the radio not too far away.

He nodded quickly and ran out of the estate, driving off into the street packed with panicked people.

We stood outside, staring up into the sky in the distance. After about thirty minutes, thunder rumbled and the clear sky darkened. The building in front of us was suddenly covered in cold frost.

I shivered slightly and leaned closer into Reno's arms, instinctively clutching my belly.

Then, a spinning whirlwind that stretched from the ground to cloud came to a stop in front of us. With another loud thunderclap, the whirlwind transformed into a young handsome man on a stunning white horse.

Streaks of lighting flashed across the sky, stopping above us. A strong wind blew, uprooting all the trees around, sending the leaves flying upwards. That part of the sky darkened and began to emit a dazzling light that struck the ground.

Then it gradually opened accompanied by a blinding white light. Three elderly men decended gradually but didn't land on the floor, just floating a bit above us.

“You might be wondering how we found you Emma" the oldest of the men said calmly, emitting a chilling aura that made me immobile, so i just nodded after swallowing hard.

" We've known about it. Your affair with the devil's son which is an abomination before the creator. We've been sent to give you two options: destroy or be destroyed”

" I.. I don't understand” i stammered. " Take this sword and stab him straight in the heart to kill him and be free.” He said pointing at Reno. "Relieved of your duties from the celestial city and get married to him” he continued, pointing at the young man on a horse.

" Or.. don't do it and be destroyed with him, forever." Another elder coldly stated.

I looked at Reno then back at the unfamiliar young man and made up my mind on the spot. I'll rather die than be with someone I don't have any feelings for.

“Kill me with him" i said word by word so they could hear it clearly. Reno quickly knelt in front of them. “Don't mind her heavenly ones. Take me instead and let everyone be free. She doesn't deserve to die" he pleaded, kowtowing.

“Choose Emma!!!" The third elder thundered.

“Take both of us!!" I shouted back and the surroundings trembled violently.

The young man drew out the sword and swung it at us with full force. But his hand froze in mid air and couldn't move any futher.

“What's with the delay Flynn?" The first elder asked moving forward.

“Don't hurt her." A commanding voice came from the sky. " Love is the greatest and should be given a chance. Heaven is a place of fairness and justice. Emma, go chase your happiness with him. From now onwards, there's no celestial city. Bring all citizens of hell together and rule over them” the voice ordered and faded away.

A flash of light took Flynn and the men away in the blink of an eye. I burst into tears and happily hugged Reno who was still kneeling on the floor. We kissed each other as the sun gradually peeped out of the clouds again.

The frozen surroundings instantly became normal like none of that ever happened and nobody knew what transpired because the instant the young man materialized, the whole world froze.

We headed to the shayan mansion and assured everyone they were safe now.

“Call a press conference" Reno suddenly ordered Max who quickly obeyed without any questions.

“What for?" I asked in confusion, settling down on a sofa.

“It's a surprise baby" he grinned as the maids began arranging the living room for the live broadcast.

When the cameras began rolling, he first of all revealed our relationship to the public with a kiss on my forehead.

“Come on man" he gestured at Max who stood not too far away from the cameras. The stunned Max walked up to him and he handed him a document.

“This is forty percent of the shayan's company's shares. You've been the most trusted and important person to me and fit to the be second owner so I'm leaving it in your care till anytime we come visiting" he said, shaking the stunned Max hand.

Max burst into tears and dropped on his kneels. “Boss, who am i to deserve this?" He asked and Reno eyes filled up too.

“You deserve more than this sir. Thank you for always being there all these years” he told the overemotional Max, hugging him.

I stood up and joined the hug too as more cameras flashed.
