So all liriah claimed to master while in exile actually didn't happen on an exile. She went back to hell right under Lucifer's nose.

But there's no time for all that. We need a way to stop liriah.

" Every lineage in hell has been existing for millenniums we can't even begin to imagine. When Lucifer was cast down as a fallen angel, leviathan ancestors were assigned to take charge of the threshold of hell.

“The leviathans were famous for their mastery of spells, ancient curses and powers. Although being just the in charge of the gates, they wield immense power and most demons in hell are from the leviathan lineage” Finly explained and my brow furrowed in confusion.

" We need to act quickly Finly. We can talk about the leviathan lineage later” i told her impatiently, staring at the rumbling sky and listening to the agonizing cries.

" It's very easy to take down liriah, but we are going to be inviting leviathan to earth by reciting any spell from these books" she revealed.

“That's not the most important thing now. If it comes to that, we can threaten him with Lucifer." I countered.

Finly laughed scornfully. “He's not going to buy that master. The fact that he let liriah into hell means the present guardian has been won over by her. Inviting him here is only giving them the upper hand"

“Then what are we going to do.?" I panicked.

“You have two options Master. First, try to defeat liriah and invite leviathan. That will only lead to a battle between the both of you and your energy is already depleting due to the spirit of light you summoned."

“Secondly, just quietly exit this entire place and hid among humans till you're able to reach out to lucifer. But that'll mean using Reno as a bait which i aren't sure he'll survive because….”

Just then, there was a loud boom and debris fell from above. The palace was instantly razed to nothing.

I doubled over and protected the books with my body so it doesn't get destroyed. When i looked up again, Reno lay on the ground not too far away from me, his previously radiating body flickered like a candle about to die.

Liriah slithered to me with a triumphant smirk. “I guess that's the end of your knight in shining armor.”

" Master we have just option one left. Let's just hope heaven comes to our rescue” Finly said with a note of finality. “Help me take control of your body so i can recite the spells. You have to trust me master. Just bit your finger and suck the blood and I'll be able to possess you"

I quickly did as she asked and my body moved without me, leaving my spirit floating in a distance.

My body gradually acended, surrounded by a blinding golden light and a strong wind blew like we were in the middle of a windstorm. This prevented Rexy and liriah from stepping any closer.

On seeing the book, liriah eyes widened in horror and she tried rushing forward to snatch it. But the windstorm made it nearly impossible to move forward.

Translation:

"Leviathan.! Keeper of the seven gates of hell. You alone curse and undo... Ancient mysterious keeper.
I summon you to take back this vessel because it's no longer fit for use. Your curses are mystical and potential but they've been brought to harm a vessel that shouldn't be tampered with least a wrath be incurred. Therefore, i summon you oh powerful keeper.!

Keeper.! Keeper.!! Keeper.!!!

Leviathan.! Take back this vessel and undo every power discharged. Turn it to ash to be fed back to the deep sea of mavalestian”

As Finly chanted this over and over, liriah froze on the spot as if in a trance. She began to gasp and wringle on the ground painfully, mutating from a snake to a Sheltopusik - a giant glass lizard, to an Amphisbaena alba, caecilian, skink, and finally an eel.

From the distance, a dark cloud came rushing towards us, like a moving tornado.

It stopped right in front of me which was possessed by Finly. From the thick depth, a massive foot stepped out, followed by another till leviathan in his original form stepped out.

He's towering like a two storey building. His long, curly, massive horns has a fiery fire burning on it. His long, hairy, massive tail swung around dangerously and his long tongue slithered in and out of his mouth.

His face darkened as he saw the weak liriah on the floor, gradually turning to ash and Rexy not too far away, injured by Reno.

A thin but heavy wind sucked me back into my body, putting me back in control.

Leviathan eyes burned like coals. “You fool.! You dare harm liriah. I'm going to wipe you out today and Lucifer is never going to know about it" he threatened in a booming and echoing voice, advancing step by step towards me.

His gait made me shrink into a corner and tried to escape. But he wasn't letting me off so easily.

His massive tail swung at me but i narrowly dodged. Furiously, he stretched it full length and rapidly wound it around me, pinning me in place.

He began to recite a curse and dust rose from the sand, forming a ring and surrounding us.

“We can't let him finish that spell master.! If not we'll turn to ash like liriah. If you try summoning the spirit of light, you'll pass out before you get the chance to finish humming" Finly panicked.

“Then what are we going to do.?" I asked back, still struggling against the thick, tough, rough tails wrapped around me.

Suddenly, a bolt of lightning decended from the sky and rushed at us.
