Chapter 64 Spank You In Front Of Everyone

Chapter 64 Spank You In Front Of Everyone
Elena Pov
Shock was an understatement of what I felt when I raised my head and saw the man standing at the entrance. I almost collapsed.
What is he doing here?!
My fingers tightened around the shirt in my hands, and my shoulders stiffened before I could stop them.
I looked around the room, and seeing everyone frozen like they had been poured over with ice, an alarm slammed into me and I just knew… I’m in trouble!
I swallowed and looked at my body. Dirty. Bruised and—darn it! I was still hugging that stained black shirt to my chest like it was my most precious baby.
I wished I could disappear into the floor before he looked my way.
My face squeezed. But when I saw him scanning the room, I immediately hid my hand behind me.
The aura around Marcus just kept getting more dangerous and darker. Even the air around me felt heavier, pressing against my chest until breathing became difficult.
I could see the betas in the room, including the teacher, frozen, their breathing slow, and the worst was Becca, who was almost losing consciousness. Worry appeared on my face as I watched her, but soon, I didn’t even have time for that because the next second, I felt a sharp, intense gaze stop on me.
Without even looking up, my body reacted immediately. It froze.
I couldn’t raise my head. My heart pounded, and my brain screamed for help.
Why was he the one here?!
My eyes stung, and I almost burst into tears, but I couldn’t do that. My whole body was stiff.
When the teacher had asked to call our parents, I hadn’t really been worried as my father wasn’t reachable anyway, but to my shock, the number the teacher called went through. Soon, I understood.
It wasn’t my father’s contact information that was put down as my guardian. But then, I guessed it could only be the butler of Marcus’ villa.
Though I had been worried that Marcus would find out, that thought disappeared when I remembered how he had left without even looking at me yesterday. But—
Who could tell me why the same man was standing here, looking at me like he was about to kill someone?
The silence in the room was suffocating. Even if I could still breathe, what about the rest?
But soon, I couldn’t even think anymore. The more he remained silent, the more my nerves pulsated.
A second passed… then another… and when I thought I might collapse from the tension, I heard the familiar cold voice.
“Who did this?”
I froze completely. My eyes stared blankly at him, and for a moment, I couldn’t understand what I had heard.
Marcus’ eyes became darker and darker. The aura around him seemed to surge. Impatience flashed past his eyes.
“Didn’t you hear me?” he snapped. “I said who did this?!”
This finally woke everyone up. Everyone jolted and immediately shifted back, their eyes watching Marcus carefully, their bodies trembling. Even Lilith, who had been so arrogant, immediately rushed to hide behind the teacher.
I lowered my head and pursed my lips hard. The room fell silent again.
Heavy breathing echoed in the room, then suddenly it paused, and the tension increased.
I held my breath, unable to even raise my head to look at him.
Just then, a chuckle sounded.
Then, that gentleman I had seen yesterday walked toward the teacher, and before anyone could react, he pulled the teacher’s chair to the center of the office, then began to clean it.
Everyone watched his movements, but no one dared to say a word. Though they weren’t holding any guns, the air around them just showed how powerful they were, especially Marcus, who finally sat down on the cleaned chair.
His legs crossed, and his dark eyes soon settled on me.
My toes curled in my shoes, and my heart beat faster. Just then, he spoke.
“Come here.”
My feet twitched as if they wanted to obey him, but I forced them to stay where they were.
I raised my head, then met his eyes. He stared straight at me, his eyes impatient.
Somehow, I couldn’t help but go into a daze as I stared at him.
Why was he here now? And he was even acting like this? How could he just look at me and act like what happened yesterday didn’t exist?!
He had ignored me! He had acted like I didn’t exist and left me worrying about him.
I lowered my head and rubbed my thumb over the wrinkled shirt, refusing to meet his eyes. I bit my lips, and moisture soon filled my eyes. My nose itched seconds later, and the sound of my sniffles echoed in the room.
For a brief second, nobody moved as if even breathing too loudly would make things worse.
I could feel their gazes stop on me. Some were confused by my tears, and even Lilith looked at me in shock.
I knew I looked stupid now, but I really couldn’t help it.
He had ignored me, and I had been so worried, but now he ordered me around and even stared at me with those cold eyes.
My lips pursed tightly, and I lowered my head and didn’t look at him. But my heart wasn’t calm at all.
The room fell silent. Tense. Nervous.
Everyone looked at Marcus with nervousness, and I even felt Rina pinch me. Her lips kept muttering words, asking me to go to Marcus, but I ignored her.
Suddenly, Marcus let out a sigh.
Rina, who was about to touch me again, jolted and immediately stepped away from me.
Just then, someone gripped my wrist, and before I could react, I was pulled in front of Marcus, who grabbed my waist and—
“If you keep fighting, I’ll tie you up here and spank you in front of everyone!”
My heart skipped a beat.
My eyes widened as I looked back at the man, my mouth wide open.
Marcus’ face remained expressionless as if he wasn’t the one who had uttered those shameless words.
No one laughed. No one even dared to look amused.
I gritted my teeth but could say nothing except curse in my heart.
How could he be so shameless?!
Though I was cursing, I didn’t dare stand up from his lap and could only sit stiffly with a flushed face and lowered head.
I didn’t dare look at the shocked faces in the office.
Moments later, Marcus finally focused his attention on the situation in the room. He looked at the teacher with his dark eyes, which made the teacher’s breath seize, then he spoke.
“You called me?”
The teacher woke up from her daze. Her head kept nodding.
Marcus frowned, then nodded. “Tell me.”
The teacher, Miss Smith, took a deep breath. She looked at me, then at Lilith, then her trembling but clear voice echoed in the room.
“Well, Elena’s father, I called you—”
“Not my daughter.”
When I first heard Teacher Smith call Marcus my father, I had been confused, but when Marcus interrupted her, my face flushed red. I wished the ground could open and swallow me.
Teacher Smith was interrupted, so she looked confused.
“Huh?”
My head almost buried itself in my shoulders. I didn’t dare look up.
But Marcus didn’t seem to care. His face turned serious, and his hand curled around my waist like he was claiming what belonged to him.
He stared straight at Teacher Smith’s face, then repeated the words out loud.
“She is not my daughter!”
His voice was hoarse but filled with threats, as if daring her to call me his daughter again.
The room became so quiet that even my uneven breathing sounded loud.
He sounded so serious and I had the sudden urge to look at his face, but somehow, I didn’t dare.
My heart pounded so heavily, my fingers tightened on the shirt I was holding, and my mind soon began to slip away.
H-he said I’m not his daughter, then… does that mean—then, who am I to him?
Does he mean I’m more than that? His lover? Or even worse… his niece?
My eyes lit up, then dimmed again, and a bitter smile settled on the corner of my lips.
Just then, Teacher Smith nodded, then continued, this time calm and serious.
“We called you here because student Elena had a fight with her roommate, and it was a serious one. Not only did they break one rule, they also committed a serious violation in the school, which is the use of pheromones energies.”
My eyes quivered, and my grip on the shirt tightened again until my fingers started to ache.
My legs stepped on each other, and I couldn’t help but sneak a glance at the man, but just then, I felt the hand around my waist tighten. My heart sank, and I looked down immediately.
Teacher Smith’s voice continued to echo in the room as she spoke about the situation.
The more she spoke, the more my body moved and began to shake.
What to do…?
Would he be angry? Would he think I’m troublesome and wouldn’t care about me? What if he realized I’m not like other omegas—soft and gentle like Becca?
I bit my lower lip, and my breath became heavy.
To be honest, I hadn’t really wanted to fight, but who would have expected that arrogant Lilith to throw my stuff on the ground? And during the fight, she had been the one who first released her pheromone energy, which attracted the attention of the other students and the hostel officers.
Just thinking about that crazy girl, another wave of anger set in.
I raised my head to glare at her, only to be speechless when I saw Lilith standing stiffly as she looked at Marcus in a daze.
The arrogance on her face had completely disappeared, leaving behind nothing but shock.
I frowned.
What’s wrong with her?
But before I could find an answer, Teacher Smith cut through my thoughts.
“Well, both are wrong for fighting, and we called the guardians to speak about how to settle this.”
The room fell silent.
I tensed up as I waited for someone to blame me. But—
A calm voice fell in the room.
“So, my little omega girl won the fight?”
For a heartbeat, no one answered. Every pair of eyes turned toward Marcus, speechless.
