Van's POV
"Marion what are you doing here?" I asked closing the door behind me as I walked in.
"To see Vincent." she said sighing softly.
I nodded slowly and headed for the steps. Turns out she was staying for a while. I tried to be out of the house much as possible. Went out for walks in the park to clear my head. But when Icame back home one day at night.....
I opened the door and all the lights were off. I didn't see Marion on the couch like normal. I sighed and started to head upstairs. I was about to turn to go in my room but I saw a light coming from the bathroom and the door was open slightly. I went over and knocked but didn't get a reply. I opened the door slowly and my eyes widen.
"Marion." I said and she wiped her mouth.
"Ge-Get out." she said shaking.
"Your coughing up-" I started to say.
"Get out!" she yelled.
"I'm gonna take you to the hospital." I said and she shook her head. "Marion quit being stubborn and-" I began.
"I have cancer... there's no point in going to the hospital." she said and I stared.
"Why didn't you... tell me?" I asked reaching out to help her up but she scooted away.
"Why does it matter Van? Why haven't you been with Lenny?" she asked and I sighed.
"Marion thats none of your business." I said and she glared.
"I'm half dead, forget about me and go to him." she said coughing and coughed up blood.
I frowned and laid against the doorway. "I'll visit him tomorrow." I said and she coughed more.
"Does Vincent know?" I asked.
"Do you know your in love with Lenny?" she asked rolling her eyes.
I slanted my eyes at her before leaving to go to my room. I slammed the door shut behind me sighing. I slid down holding my head.
Conflicted feelings.... maybe Marion divorced me because she knew befire even I did..... I'm still so confused.....

"Mom!" I heard Vincent yell and I shifted in the bed opening my eyes slowly. "Dad come quick!" he screamed and I got up quickly.
I ran to the stairs and froze wide eyed. Vincent was by his mother who was laying on the floor in front of the stairs.
"Sh-She fell I think." Vincent said whimpering and I came down the stairs and rubbed his back.
"She's still breathing." I said standing up and called the ambulance.
When they came I watched them take her away. Vincent was crying and Sammie was here comforting him.
"Wi-Will mom be okay?" he asked and I frowned as Sammie kissed his cheek frowning.
I bit my lip hard.
I don't know. I can't say that. Can I...? Does he even know? Do I have the right to tell him? She might want to tell him herself.
"I'll check on her tomorrow." I said and Vincent nodded frowning.
"I can't check since I'll be at my job.... and my boss isn't a nice person." he said and Sammie rubbed his back.
"It's okay son." I said ruffling his hair.
It's not okay. Marion has cancer. I'm pretty sure Vincent doesn't know.
"Let's all go for a walk to clear our minds." I said but Vincent shook his head and laid it on Sammie's lap.
Sammie frowned running his fingers through his hair. I sighed softly frowning. I walked over to those two pulling a blanket over them.
"Sammie you can spend the night." I said and he gulped.
"I'd love too but I'm suppose to be at mom's." he said and I nodded slowly.
He kissed Vincent's head blushing. "I have to go soon but I'll stay for a while." he said and Vincent nodded closing his eyes.
"Cute, real cute." I said smirking and Sammie huffed blushing more.
"Like you haven't done the same thing to Lenny." he said looking away and my eyes widen.
"What?!" Vincent said shooting his head up bumping it against Sammie's chin knocking him out.
"Ooooowwww." Sammie said and Vincent frowned.
"I'm sorry baby." Vincent said kissing all over his face frowning making Sammie blush and I rolled my eyes smiling.
Heh, thanks for getting off my case.
"Forgive me?" Vincent asked making puppy eyes and Sammie nodded blushing more making Vincent smile. "Anyways." he said turning back to me.
"What is my baby talking about?" he asked and I groaned.
"Nothing." I said going to the stairs.
"So you do like Lenny back?" I heard Vincent ask.
"Maybe, maybe more." I said and went up the stairs.
