Chapter 250

Chapter 250

Before leaving, Olivia ignored Parker's cold stare and pulled Seraphine aside, whispering, "If he ever treats you badly, come find me anytime."

She left her with a blue butterfly, carved into her wrist where no one could take it away. If Seraphine ever faced mortal danger, the blue butterfly would automatically destroy itself, and Olivia would immediately know her location.

This was Olivia's life-saving charm for her.

It was also compensation for erasing her memory and turning her into one of their kind without her consent.

"Would he hurt me?"

Seraphine looked over at Parker in confusion, only to receive a big smile from him. She smiled back, unconsciously showing some dependence in her expression.

Seeing this, Olivia said no more, only adding, "I hope you can watch over him and live well together."

Everyone deserves a chance to turn back. She didn't mind giving Parker such a chance, but if Parker didn't cherish it, she definitely wouldn't let him off.

Though she didn't understand why Olivia would say this, Seraphine nodded firmly, "I will."

After giving her instructions, Olivia and Christopher looked at Parker, their eyes full of unspoken warning. Parker nodded halfheartedly and walked over to take Seraphine's hand.

This was the first time he could hold the hand of someone he liked while gaining his freedom.

Seeing how Parker had eyes only for her, Olivia couldn't help but smile. If her father saw him like this, he would surely feel some comfort too.

That Parker who used to be rebellious and troublesome, always going against the family, had finally grown up.

Olivia and Christopher left the Abyss.

But as soon as they came out, they ran into Furman and Layton, who had been waiting at the entrance.

Looking at them, Furman sneered, "Olivia, you really did come."

Looking at him, Olivia said calmly, "Furman, you're too late."

At her words, his expression changed sharply, his suspicious gaze fixed on her, "What do you mean?"

Olivia looked steadily at him, saying word by word, "The Spiritual Blood of the Fire Element Blood Ruby has already been restored in my body. Soon I'll recover my memories and abilities. You've already lost."

The five elemental energies had automatically completed themselves in her body and begun repairing her blocked and sealed meridians. Without her having to do anything herself, her body felt light, with an unprecedented sense of clarity and vitality.

Most of her abilities had already returned; only her memories hadn't been awakened yet.

"No, that's impossible!"

Furman looked at her in disbelief, his face turning ugly, "Parker would never let you take the Fire Element Blood Ruby so easily!"

As he finished speaking, a trace of flame appeared at Olivia's fingertips.

Furman's eyes widened suddenly. He hadn't expected Olivia to actually get the Fire Element Blood Ruby from that waste Parker. He clenched his fists tightly and laughed strangely in anger.

"Since the Fire Element Blood Ruby is in your hands, it saves me the trouble of finding Parker. Hand over the Fire Element Blood Ruby, and I can spare your life!"

At this, Olivia smiled mockingly, "Confidence is good, but overconfidence is stupidity. Not to mention you haven't recovered your physical form yet—even at your peak, you were no match for me."

Her words, each one like a hard knife, stabbed fiercely into Furman's heart.

He shouted, "Layton!"

Layton behind him responded, setting up a barrier he had prepared earlier, trying to trap them both inside. Olivia and Christopher exchanged a glance, and together they broke through the Array Core.

Seeing this, Furman quickly joined the battle.

Earth-shaking sounds kept coming from outside the Abyss, making Seraphine feel extremely uneasy deep inside. She clutched her hands, looking helplessly at Parker, "Parker, what's happening outside?"

After becoming a blood clan member, her five senses far exceeded those of humans, so she could hear the fighting outside clearly, but it felt incredibly strange, as if she had never witnessed such intense combat before.

Parker gripped her hand tightly, gently comforting her, "Don't be afraid. Some annoying people came outside. Don't worry, Olivia will handle it."

"Will she and Christopher get hurt?"

Seraphine was somewhat worried Olivia might get injured. She could feel her kindness toward her, even though she had just awakened and just met the two of them.

She thought for a moment, then carefully pleaded, "Why don't we go out and help them?"

Looking at the cautious Seraphine, Parker squeezed her palm and promised, "From now on, with me, you can do whatever you want. As long as you ask, I'll satisfy you."

At this, Seraphine's eyes lit up, "That's great! Let's go help them."

Parker took her out of the Abyss. Catching their scent, Furman, suspended above, looked down. With just one glance, he understood what deal this waste had made with Olivia.

He laughed mockingly, "Parker, you waste! You actually gave up the great cause for a human! Don't you want to sit on that supreme throne?"

"Stop trying to provoke me with words."

Parker covered Seraphine's ears, looking at him impatiently, "With my strength, even without ascending to the supreme throne, no one can do anything to me. But you're different. You keep calling others wastes, but you're actually the most useless one. Without people helping you, could you have gotten where you are today?"

He had no interest in associating with scum like Furman.

Though he lost a thousand years ago, he lost fair and square. He also wouldn't sacrifice others to achieve his own goals. He could walk this path alone.

"You deserve to die!"

Furman landed in front of him, his eyes fixed on Seraphine beside him, full of malice, "Since you don't want to stand with me, then you have no need to stay alive."

With that, he used blood as a formation, igniting the Bloody Magic Array, trapping Parker and Seraphine inside while laughing madly.

Parker was unconcerned, "With just this little skill, you think you can trap me?"

He moved Seraphine behind him, testing it himself, "Seraphine, watch from the side. Wait for me to get you out."

Watching him struggle uselessly, Furman couldn't help but laugh loudly, "It's useless! This is the Necromancy Array."

After finishing, he turned to look at Olivia provocatively, "Olivia, didn't you want to save him? Let's see if you can save him a second time!"

Olivia's expression changed.

The Necromancy Array—it was the same formation Felix had sacrificed himself for. Only when someone sacrifices themselves can the formation be broken. Otherwise, it continuously absorbs the Blood Essence from people's bodies until they become skeletons.

Parker also realized how dangerous this formation was. He frowned, "Don't worry about me. I have a way out."

"What way could you possibly have?" Furman looked at him leisurely, "Stop pretending. You'll regret giving the Fire Element Blood Ruby to Olivia. She can't save you at all."

But before he finished speaking, he heard Olivia's voice behind him.

"Who says I can't save him?"
