Chapter 35

Johana Morin POV

I woke up early because I have to prepare for our training. I looked at Madeline's bed and she's not there while Bea is still asleep on her own bed. I smiled when I remember what happened last night. The kiss under the moonlight... that made everything better right after I told her everything. Bea and I agreed to keep everything away from other people, including our teammates and friends. Even if we're okay now, we will still act as if we're not in front of other people to avoid them from intervening with us.

I don't know if we're officialy a couple again but the label doesn't matter as long as we really love each other, as long as we're both okay. I was planning to wake her up but Madeline suddenly entered the room.

"Good morning, Mads." I greeted.

"Good morning, Jo." She smiled and sat on the edge of Bea's bed. "Hey, Bey! Wake up." She said.

I just avoid myself from looking at them and decided to go to the comfort room to take a bath. After 10 minutes, I'm done. I opened the door and was surprised to see Bea standing in front of me while she's rubbing her eyes.

"Oh." She whispered because she didn't know I was inside the comfort room.

I tried not to smile at her reaction even if it's too cute since Madeline's still here inside our room. "Excuse me." I said but she tried to corner me. I just stared at her. Can't she see Madeline is here?

"Excuse me, Bea." I said again.

"You're so beautiful,

But that is not why I love you

I'm not sure you know,

That the reason I love you is you being you just you oh..." She sang while smiling at me then she let me pass.

What the hell was that, Bea? I bit my lower lip to stop myself from laughing. I looked at Madeline and she was also confused on why Bea did that.

"Stop singing, Bea! Hurry up! We should not be late today." Madeline yelled. Bea just smiled at her and went inside the comfort room.

After fixing myself, I went downstairs to eat breakfast. "Good morning, Jo!" Jianna greeted me.

"Oh wow? Seems like you're in a good mood Jia huh." I teased.

"Well, anyway you look good today too, Jo. What did you eat last nigh huh? You're glowing." She said while smiling at me.

"W-What?" I asked because it seems like she knows something.

"You look happy today, Jo. It looks like there's something in you."

I forced myself to laugh. "Stop being so crazy, Jia."

"Hmm, alright." She said and we continue eating.

We saw Bea and Madeline going downstairs and I caught Bea looking at me. I was about to smile at her when Jia cough.

"Hey, Jia... you okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine it's just that something is so sweet this morning." She said while raising her eyebrows on me. Oh my gosh. Did she really know something?

"What are you talking about, Jia?"

"I'm your best friend, Jo. I know everything about you. So tell me, what happened?"

I just ignored what she said. "You know what? You're just hungry."

After eating, I immediately brush my teeth and went to the living room while waiting for my other teammates. I saw Bea and Madeline together with Trey. They're just talking with each other. I also want to be with Bea but we have to control ourselves in public. We should not let anybody know that we're okay now. We really have to play safe this time so her parents would not know about us. It's not that we want to lie, but I was just really afraid of Bea's father. He can do everything just to separate us.

That's why I'm bothered by what Jianna's acting awhile ago. Speaking of Jianna, she's right here with me.

"Come on, Jo! Let's start walking to the gym." Jianna said so we went out of the dormitory.

We started walking along the university and I'm starting to regret being with Jianna now.

"So what really happened, Jo? What were you guys doing in the dark last night?"

My eyes widened with what she said. "What? I---really don't know what you're talking about, Jia."

She laughed at me. "Why are you denying it, Johana? I saw both of you last night."

I stopped walking and stared at her. "You... you really saw us together?"

"Well, actually I only saw Beatriz and I wasn't able to see you because you know, it's kind of dark in there and you're not that white. So yeah." She said teasing my skin tone. I rolled my eyes on her.

"Damn you, Jia!"

"But seriously speaking, Jo. I saw both of you kissing... does that mean?" She asked while wiggling her eyebrows.

"Stop thinking dirty, Jia!" I yelled.

"What? I was just asking you if both of you are okay now. What were you thinking huh?"

I feel like blushing. What the heck? I thought she meant something dirty. I hate my mind!

"Nothing... But can you please just keep what you saw last nigh to yourself? Let's keep that as a secret because it's too complicated right now." I said.

"Of course! You can trust me with this, Jo. Promise, I won't tell anyone."

I nodded. "I'll just inform Beatriz about this."

"So... your plan is to just keep things in a lowkey manner?"

"Yep."

"So, you're back to being couple again?"

I shrugged. "Don't know, Jia. We're okay but we still haven't talked about our label. But I think we're better off this way. I think it's alright not to have a label as long as we know that we both love each other."

"I'm happy for you, Jo." She said and hugged me.

"Thank you, Jia."

"Make sure you'll still make time for me, okay?" She said.

"Of course! I'll make sure of that since Bea and I are not allowed to show ourselves in public together."

"Would it be hard for the two of you?" She asked.

"If you love someone, you should be willing to sacrifice just to be with them."

And this time, I'm willing to do everything for Bea. I wouldn't waste this chance.

Training's done and I'm here inside the dormitory with Beatriz even though I still have classes to attend in 30 minutes. We're just cuddling on her bed because she said she wanted to be with me.

"I feel sorry for Jia. She told me to wait for her." I said because Jia's still in the shower room at the gym when Bea decided to bring me here.

"She will surely understand, Jo. I really missed you." She said and pulled me even closer to her.

"Bei, we still have classes to attend to."

"I don't care baby. I just want you here with me."

"Bea!"

"Yeah right, just give me another 10 minutes to be this close to you." She said and kissed my cheek.

I smiled. "I love you."

"I love you more my baby Johana." She whispered. "So, are we back again to being girlfriends?" She asked.

"Only if you got a perfect score on your quiz."

She laughed. "So easy. I can perfect any quiz in Math."

I smirked. "Yeah right, Bea. But I want you to perfect a quiz in History."

"What?! Really, Jo?!"

I laughed at her reaction. She hates history very much because it's too boring for her.

"Yes, Bea."

"I guess it's time to study hard again just to make you say yes."

"Yup, that's why we both need to prepare for our classes."

"I'm sorry Jo if I'm being too clingy but this is the only time where we can be this close since Madeline and our teammates aren't here."

I cupped her face. "I understand, Bea. Don't be sorry."

She nodded and kissed my forehead.

Sometimes, we really have to sacrifice for the person we love. I know there will be a time where Beatriz and I won't be able to hide everything about us... but for now, we really just have to wait for that time. I really love Beatriz and even if we stay like this for the rest of our lives, it's fine with me as long as I know that we're both okay, as long as I know that she's near... it's fine than nothing.
