The Next Morning

Lilith's eyes opened and she took a deep yawn.

Dream was wild!

She shook her head, and her eyes widened as a tail wrapped around her leg that she saw coming from Jayden. Noah’s muscular arm draped over her, his sharp nails holding her close as Mason’s horned head nuzzled into her neck. Liam snored gently and she could see hints of his fangs. Her heartbeat quickened as she realized it wasn’t a dream.

Don’t scream, don’t scream…nope gonna scream

"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!” She screamed causing Noah and Liam to fall off the bed.

"FUCKING HELL LIL WHAT-AHHHHHH!” Jayden screamed seeing Mason’s horns.

Mason popped up, his heart falling to his feet. He grabbed his chest staring at Jayden’s tail. "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!”

Noah and Liam stood.

"OH! OH! OH!” Liam shouted jumping up and down.

"AHHHH!”

"AHHHHH!” Noah and Lilith screamed in one another’s face.

"I THOUGHT IT WAS A DREAM!” Noah’s voice tore through the room. "WHY THE FUCK DO WE ALL SOUND LIKE SEXY ANIME CHARACTERS?!”

Wincing as she tried to stand, Lilith, looked at her thigh. "YOU BIT ME MASON!!! YOU ALL DID!” She glared at them. “Howfuckingdareyoumarkmelikeimterritory”

Jayden's eyes widened. "We’re Inubus and you’re mad about some love marks?!”

Mason covered his face. "Jayden please…fucking hell…it's INCUBUS NOT INUBUS!”

"MOTHERFUCKER I DON’T WANNA BE EITHER ONE!”

Storming into the room, Samantha shouted loudly. "LILITH! NOAH’S THE INCUBUS KING-AHHHH!” She screamed locking eyes with Noah. Zapping him, Noah went flying into the wall.

"WHAT THE FUCK SAM?!” He screamed.

Lilith stood. "YOU MONSTER!” Raising him off his feet with her magic, Noah shouted expletives as Lilith hit him with her tail.

"STOP ATTACKING ME LIL!”

"DON’T FUCKING CALL ME THAT YOU KILLER!”

"I HAVEN’T KILLED ANYONE!”

Liam rushed to her side. "Lil put him down!”

"NO!”

Tackling her, Jayden held her down as Noah fell to the ground. "Stop Lil!”

Breath ragged she looked at him. "I can’t fucking believe yall.”

Standing, Noah breathed sharply in pain. "That hurt Lilith!” He looked at Sam wildly. "What did you call me?!”

She seethed at him. "You’re the Incubus king…and the reason we had to flee, you murderer!”

Noah process her words and twisted his face up. "Nah”

"What?!”

"Nah…doesn’t sound right. I disagree. Maybe not about the king part, that feels oddly familiar, but nope slaughtering people isn’t coming to mind.”

Pushing Jayden off of her, Lilith squared off with Noah. "Of course you would fucking say that!”

He arched his brow. "So you’re telling me that you SAW me murdering and slaughtering Succubi?!”

"Wha-well-no but Sahir-“

He laughed loudly. "YOU MEAN THE CONFIRMED MURDERER OF SUCCUBI! THE CREEP THAT WROTE YOU THOSE LOVE ME OR ELSE STALKER LETTERS? THE ONE WHO CAME TO MY FUCKING CONFERENCE THREATENING ME?!”

"HE DID WHAT?!"

Noah groaned loudly in irritation. "OH NOWWWW YOU CARE! YOU'RE CRAZY EX TRIED TO KILL ME AND YOU LISTEN TO HIM OVER ME! YOU KEEP INSULTING MY CHARACTER, I WOULD NEVER HURT ANYBODY, ESPECIALLY YOU."

She looked around the room, to see everyone rubbing the back of their necks in thought. She cut her eyes at him. "I don’t even know you, why should I believe you?”

Noah scoffed. "Lilith I was LITERALLY just in EVERY hole that you have and NOW you don’t know me?! You addressed me as you FOURTH and NOW you don’t know me?!”

Lilith blew steam from her nose. "I may have addressed you as such, but without the claiming ceremony, you’re just a guy that had a little fun with me and MY boyfriends.” She saw Noah’s eyes flash white in hurt and she immediately regretted her words.

"Lil…” Liam murmured shaking his head.

She fiddled with her fingers knowing she’d gone too far. And in a split second, she realized Sahir had more reason to betray her than Noah.

He nodded. "Fine…so be it. You don’t know me.”

Mason stepped between them. "Woah…okay time out. Tension is high and we woke up on some American Horror Story shit so let's just all take a deep breath.” He turned to Lilith. "Lil, you know us and we trust Noah. We have since the beginning. It’s even stronger now-“ He looked at Liam and Jayden who agreed.

Samantha raised her hand. "T-this might not be the best time to mention this butttt you four are kinda sorta brothers.”

Jayden retched his head back. "You mean like a brother from another mother, we cool as hell or like BROTHERS, BROTHERS.”

"The second.”

The four looked at one another in silence. And then out of nowhere laughed all at the same time.

Liam folded his arms to his chest.'“Well, shit…that’s even kinda familiar. Okay, okay I honestly don’t mind that. Yall get on my last damn nerve, but..yeah I can see that.”

Moving closer to one another, the four began to chat. Comparing their tails and horns, they quarreled and laughed.

"Oh shit!” Mason said loudly. "If Noah is king, and we’re his brothers…that means we’re princes.”

Liam smirked at Lilith. "Yeahhh bow to me!”

Lilith looked him up and down. "I ain’t bowing to shit!”

His face flushed and he rubbed the back of his neck. "You know I-I was just playing, My Love.”

Inhaling, Noah folded his arms to his chest, avoiding Lilith's gaze. He was a mixture of pissed and hurt at how she’d treated him. "Sam, how come things seem familiar, but we don’t remember anything?”

She held up his container and Jayden and his eyes darted to one another. "Fairy dust…typically it’s just used for mischief but this…this is REALLY potent. It’s been mixed with royal succubi blood.”

Lilith felt a chill go up her spine. "Where did that come from Sam?”

"From my soon-to-be ex-wife. She was putting it in my drinks.” Noah answered still not look at her.

Samantha exhaled. "I still need some more time to figure this all out. There’s been a lot of rumbling in the Succubi rooms, something tells me that whatever you all did, affected us too. I, like you, have a sense of familar but nothing in concrete. Hopefully researching and figuring this out, will help us slowly start to remember what really happened.”

Lilith bit the side of her lip. "Thanks, Sam.” Watching her exit, she turned to the princes and king.

Liam turned to Noah. “"I HAVE AN IDEA!”

Jayden's eyes widened. "UM…I don’t know how I feel about that.”

Liam sighed. "Since Sahir visited Noah, and didn’t kill him, something must have held him back."

"He almost shit himself when I yelled at him. He looked like he recognized me. I don’t even know where that rage came from but it scared me too," Noah said.

"Well, what did he say that set you off?”

Noah pursed his lips and his body tensed. "He said he was Lilith’s fourth and to stay away from her.”

Lilith closed her eyes.

Oh no…

She saw his face harden.

“What’s your plan?” Noah asked Liam.

Liam smirked. "Well, maybe we can squeeze some answers out of the little coward…if he thinks you remember everything.”

Mason's mouth dropped. "You literally forgot how to spell your own name the other day, but your brain can come up with a genius plan?”

Liam shrugged. "Told you, brain works when it wants to.”

Grabbing his clothes, Noah closed his eyes and inhaled. Opening them, he looked at his brothers eyeing him wildly.

"How the hell did you figure out how to change back?”

He shrugged. "I don’t know. Maybe it’s like muscle memory? Try it.” He watched them shift back and he smirked. Throwing on his clothes, he turned to Liam. "Let’s all meet later here to figure out how to go about this, since he can't touch the grounds. There’s still so much we don’t know that he does. Until Sam can tell us more…be careful.” They nodded, and he turned to leave.

Lilith rubbed her arm up and down. "I was way out of line.”

He nodded and remained silent.

"Noah…”

Noah kissed her forehead and shook his head before leaving the room. Feeling a lump in her throat, she turned to see the infamous three staring at her. She looked down at her feet. "I didn’t mean it.”

Jayden sighed. 'I know Lil but words hurt and once they’re out there, you can’t take them back. And if fairy dust does what Sam says it does, Katrina was giving it to him for a reason. You’ve been coming at Noah really hard since you met him, a person can only take so much no matter how they feel about somebody.”

"I got to get ready for work." Liam said and Mason and Jayden agreed. Kissing Lilith, they left her alone in her thoughts. She sat on the bed and her thoughts returned to the hurt on Noah's face.

"You keep insulting my character."

She quickly wiped her eyes. Standing she went to check on the other Succubi and figure out what she'd unleashed.
