Chapter 30

‘ doom ’, Alon lands down on his butt, he slowly tilt his head forward and discovered that he was sitting on top of water, in this dream he was sitting on top of water, he touches the water and his hands sloped in to the other side.

‘ oh no, where am I ’, he soliloquies.

It seems he was on top of the water but he was not drowning, as he looks forward he sights the same little girl.

She was standing like a dead human, with her legs looking awkward and her head tilting downwards.

‘ I am going to kill you alone ’, she rose up her head and voiced out.

Alon moves backwards in fear when suddenly a voice calls for him outside the dream world.

‘ Alon, Alon ’, in a cold tone.

He rose up his head and sighs heavily.

‘ hey, what happened to you why are you breathing like this ’, Angela asked.

But Alon remained mute, ‘ Hope, Hope ’, Angela yelled.

Immediately Hope heard his name he ran towards their direction to find Alon looking like a mad man.

‘ what happened to him ’, Hope asked.

Angela explains to him while Alon was in shock, his eyes were like that of a mad man, he just sits there and stares at nothing but nothingness.

Hopes shakes him by his shoulders but he still remains mute, he was like a cold corpse.

Few hours after the event.

The room was dark and cold with a bright light reflecting at the other side of the room, Alon was lying down on a bed with his eyes widely opened when suddenly he opened his eyes and discovered that he was trapped in a trance.

‘ arh, my head, what happened, it feels like I was knocked out by a heavy carriage, I can't even feel my self ’, he slowly reaches his feets to the floor and staggers as he manages to walk on both feet.

As he reached the door, he placed his head on the wall and slowly mourn as he was in alot of pain.

‘ I think they tried killing me in my sleep, but how is that even possible, mmmhm ’, he thought to himself.

When suddenly he saw a bright light emerging from his window, he walks up to his window, ‘ oh my no ’, in a surprise tone, he saw fire blazing through the hunter academy, students running to and fro, he becomes scared and falls down to the ground.

‘ what is happening ’, he shuddered.

When a voice boomed through his room, ‘ are you not scared, why are you thinking it's a dream, in my world nothing is an illusion but are real, but are reanimation, you made a big mistake ’, in a serious tone.

‘ what do you mean, who are you ’, Alon yelled with his eyes closed.

[ In the real world ].

‘ stay away from me !’ Alon yelled.

Hope immediately held him down as he was about jumping out of his bed.

‘ let go of me, don't touch me ’, Alon replied.

‘ hey, it's ok now, just take a deep breath ’, Alvin said.

‘ she said it was real that nothing are illusions, am scared, she is right am scared ’, Alon yelled.

Hope looks at him, ‘ scared of what ’.

Alon looks at Hope and hugs him, ‘ I thought I was going to die, it felt so real, it was like an endless dream ’, Alon mourns on Hope's shoulder.

Hopes slowly pats him on his back, ‘ it's ok, you are here now that is all that matters ’, Hope said in a soft tone.

While outside the room was Alicia, she was staring at the four of them, she walks closer to the room's door and slowly reveals an envious smile.

The following morning.

Hope was outside training with Alvin when Angela walks in with the new hunter academy leader.

He was tall in height, fair in complexion and had long hairs dangling around his face.

‘ meet Elvis, our new team leader, his known to be strong and also a good team planner ’, Angela said.

Hope and Alvin were short of words to say to him as he looks at them with a smile on his face, ‘ today I will take you all out of here into the battle ground where you all will face off nasty demons and fight to survive for yourselves ’, Elvis altered.

Even his words were not encouraging, it seems he wants them to die or something but the other students find him to be too strict for his first day of assignment.

While Ino lucky was busy going back in his thoughts as usual, thinking about Elle, his lover, he blames himself for everything and does not wanna let go of his past, he closed his eyes as he tries to forget about everything but it seems that nothing was good enough for him now that he has lost everything he holds dear.

‘ Elle, I have failed you, remember I promised to save you but it seems i was too weak please forgive, don't stay mad at me forever cause my love for you will never die ’, he soliloquies.

He tilt up his head and admires the clouds, he then rose up his finger and began to trace them when suddenly, he sights a shadow over whelming him.

He slowly rose up his head to discover that it was the new lady, Alicia who came to the hunter academy days ago, she was looking bright and pretty as usual.

Ino tilt up his head, ‘ hi, what are you doing here, you know you are not suppose to be here right ’, Ino said.

She stares at him and flashed a smile, ‘ I know but is it bad to admire something good as well ’, Alicia replied in a soft tone.

She moves her hair and tries to draw his attention but it seems Ino was not that easy to be fooled.

‘ are you sure ’, Ino asked.

‘ yeah am sure, is just that you are really pretty and that I will like to be your friend ’, she slowly reaches for his face with Ino embracing her touch with his eyes closed.

Ino clutch her hands, ‘ do you think I will fall for your trick you witch ’, Ino yells at her and throws her down, cloaking her hands to her back.

She falls to the ground and pleads to Ino.

‘ it's not what you think, I was not planning to kill him ’, she voiced out in pressure.

‘ kill who ‘ Ino asked.
