“Miss Abrams!” Estelle interrupted her harshly, “My mother is thirsty. Could you please get her some warm water?”
Gretchen didn’t expect that Estelle would talk to her with such an attitude and was stunned. Then she looked at Cristofer and pulled his sleeve, feeling aggrieved.

Cristofer said, “Gretchen helped me tie it.”

“Where did you go last night?” Cristofer asked.
Estelle said softly, “I have something to deal with, so I went out.”
“Why did you stay out all night?”

“There is a scent of cologne on your body.” With a darkened face, Cristofer asked, “Estelle, which man was you with last night?”
“It’s none of your business.”
Cristofer grabbed her wrist and said, “We haven’t gone through the divorce procedure yet. You are still Mrs. Hans! How could you stay out with another man all night? If the paparazzi photographed you, what you have done would bring shame on me!”

Cristofer was rendered speechless.
After getting their marriage certificates, they planned to hold a grand wedding. However, the destructive car accident happened on their wedding day, and the wedding ceremony was canceled.

“I don’t want anything. I just want Gretchen to stay away from me,” Estelle said.

“Kind-hearted? Funny!” Estelle snorted.
“It was because she proposed to visit your mother that we came here today. Otherwise, why do you think I came here?” Cristofer sneered and said, “You think it’s because of you?”
Although Estelle had already decided to give up on Cristofer, she still felt heartbroken when she heard his cruel words again.
“Cristofer, you can always hurt me easily just by saying a few words,” She said.
Cristofer felt a little guilty but then instantly regained his calmness and indifference. “You lied to me and hurt me first.”
“I didn’t lie to you!” Estelle growled angrily.
