Ulk!!", the opposition bangs his cheek with his fist yet again and boots him into a distance with a powerful force.

Guan Is awakened by Zack's voice. She wasn't sure but she was sure she heard him.

"Was that Zack... no no, he must be fast asleep. I think."

And then, it struck her.

She heard different snarls coming Outside.

Zack on the other was thrown into a circle. And he was almost surrounded.

"Zack Zack Zack... look at you. Weak, crouching at my feet. How pleasant this is.". The voice descended on him and a boot connected with his face with a powerful force Knocking him down.

Guan gasped, she had opened the window only to see this, Zack was being beaten up by this people. They kept berating him like something else why their leading captain observed with a grin on a face.

"Zack!"., She gasped. "Oh my God! Who are they? what do they want from him???", Guan couldn't help but held fear in her heart for Zack. "I ... I... I.. have to do something."

THIRD PERSON POV

Guan was in dismay, her eyes couldn't believe what was happening. She was troubled, worried. What sort of madness could this be.

She got out of bed, and ran outside to go help Zack. Zack on the hand couldn't defend himself, he was so weakend that he couldn't even rely on his own weapon.

A punch intersected his face.

Another in his stomach.

Another in his jaw.

He was being brutalized in different crazy aspect that by the time Guan got there, he was was already at his weakest.

"Leave him alone.", Guan yelled from a distance and ran to help Zack. As soon as they saw her, they quickly took off, the other girls came as well but they were too late, they had all ran away..

"Zack!". She yelled and crouched beside him.

"Let take him inside. He will heal..", Christiana Voiced behind her with her suggestion.

They all gathered and helped Zack up on his two feet and helped him back to his apartment.

There , everyone felt worried and disturbed about what was happening.

Guan was seated on the bed with his hed on Laps. She kept patting his hair in hope he would wake up soon.

His bruises were disappearing one by one, he was healing, but he refused to get up.

"Why isn't he waking up, he looks fine.", Guan lampooned. "Zack, please wake up."

"He's just resting, relax..." Another of the girls told her.

Guan sighed. ",Well, you'll should get some sleep, I will stay here with Zack."

"Are you sure, do you want us to get anything? perhaps a cup of coffee or maybe something to---"

"No no... i am okay, you all can go, thanks a lot."

" It okay, anytime. "

With that, the girls left and it was just Zack and Guan.

Guan sighed and carefully laid his head down on the bed , she sort to get up but he pulled her back with his hand , indicating that he was awake.

" Zack... you're okay.. ", Guan marveled as she returned to the bed

" I was fine a long time ago , I just wanted the crowd to cease. "

" Oh... ", Guan sighed.." I'm glad you're okay. "

" Well , I am more glad to see you "

Guan shook her head. " Now is not the time... you were literally assaulted today. "

" At least , I'm still alive , I'm not dead yet." , Zack said indifferently and sat up.

" What the hell are you saying? those guys could have killed you if I hadn't come early. "

"... wow , so you're trying to tell me I could have died if you hadn't shown up ... is this a joke... "

" Well , it doesn't look like I'm joking now am I? "

Zack frowned.

" Why didn't you fight back then?"

"Because I couldn't? , I wasn't capable enough to fight back and those guys... where vampires , so it quite obvious that Xavier wants me dead"

"Xavier... Xavier ain't the only vampire I'm town you know." , Guan opposed

"Look Guan... I know he's your perhaps , let's just leave it., " , Zack looked away.

"Look, I am not supporting anyone, I am just saying my mind here. I know it Xavier but you aren't ready to believe because your heart beats for him."

"Alright...", Guan had enough. "That literally just about enough from you. Are you trying to make me look bad because of that? and who says my heart beats for him. I agree somethings happened but come on Zack, we both know there are some differences between us."

Zack hissed. "just because you are Werewolf doesn't mean you can't be mated to a Vampire."

" Alright, just stop, I'm going back to my room If you need anything, get your maidens to help you with it. " , Guan vexed and left the room.

" Great , she left. ", Zack muttered. "Why must you women be so. complicated. ", He managed to get up.. " Aside that... ", he thought deeply. " Why the hell did Xavier's coven attack me.. What with that, I guess he is still mad about Guan being married to me. "

He went up to his window and observed as Guan entered her apartment. " Xavier is a starting a war that he can't finish by laying that attack on me. What the hell am I going to do now... I am in no position to start a war with this hypocrite. "

He turned away. " But if it war he wants... he's gonna get it. "

" Boss... ", A voice uttered in the darkness.

"Did you beat him well? "

" Yes Boss, we did what you asked us to do. But the Lady... "

" Guan..."

" Yes, she interrupted so we couldn't finish him up. ", The voice slowly shaking.

A short chuckle prevails. " I guess I didn't hear you right. "

The man heart breaks on his boss reply.

"We... we .. we couldn't.... "

Claws and fangs sprouts out.

" I guess dinner has been served. "
