A miracle
Victoria's POV
He heaved a sigh and shoved his hair back with his two hands. I watched him went into deep thought for a bit before he shrugged his shoulders and said,
''I'll let you fight this war only on one condition.'' He said those Words, which got me curious.
''Which is?'' I asked
''I need to be certain you are fit and ready for the fight, so I'm taking you into the woods.'' He explained while I nodded my head in agreement.
''Alright, let's go.'' He said those words and led the way, while I followed behind. We left the mansion and arrived in Alpha Derick's personal woods.
''Are you ready.'' He asked as he halt his steps.
''Yeah.'' I replied and took off my boots while he did the same. After taking off my boots, I unzipped my dress and took it off, and saw alpha Derick was already naked. Gulping nervously, I moved my gaze away from him, and I heard a soft chuckle from him.
''Don't tell me you are shy undressing In front of me.'' He asked while I rolled my eye and unhooked my bra. Nervously, I took off my underwear, and we were both naked.
''Do you know what I wish to do to you.'' He whispered and trail kisses on my neck down to my shoulders, which forced a soft moan from my lips.
''Not here though.'' He groaned and moved away from me. I frown at his action, he just put me in the mood and withdrew just like that.
''Come on, cheer up, you have me all to yourself.'' He said and placed a soft kiss on my lips, which brought a big smile on my face.
''Let get to business.'' He whispered, while I nodded my head and got ready to shift into my wolf. I watched Alpha Derick skillfully shifts into his big black wolf and stood before me. With ease, I shifted into my red Wolf and stood before him.
''Beautiful.'' His wolf telepath with me,
''You too.'' I replied and tapped my forefeet on the ground, while Alpha Derick did the same.
''See that mountain over there.'' He telepath those words to me and moved his gaze to the direction of the mountain.
''We are going to race to that mountain. The winner can request anything from the loser.'' He explained while I nodded my head in agreement.
''This will help me know the level of your speed.'' He added, while I just nodded my head and settled my gaze on the mountain which was far away.
''Are you ready.'' He asked, and I nodded my Head.
''We will run by the count of three.''
''One, two, Three…'' I did not let him finish before speeding off. I ran as fast as my feet could carry, but alpha Derick was still ahead of me. I tried and ran faster, but I was no match for him. He was skillfully fast, and I couldn't beat him in that.
I noticed he was almost getting to the mountain, but he slowed down his movement, wanting me to meet up with him. When he noticed I was getting closer to him, He speeds up his pace and almost got to the mountain but slow down his pace while I overtook him and reached the mountain.
Howling softly, I turned to him and angrily hit my forefeet on the ground because I knew what he did.
''Congrats…''
''You cheated.'' I grumbled while he moved closer to me and stood by my side
''Your victory is my victory.'' He telepath those words while I groaned but didn't say a word.
''Let's combat with each other, I want to see your moves.'' He suggested while I shook my head and said
''I'll be using more of my ability in my human form. Why do I need this.'' I grumbled, while he moved away from my side and stood before me.
''We will also fight in our human form, but we will have to have this fight first.'' He telepath those words and unexpectedly rushed to me, but I was quick and shoved away from him.
''Fine!'' I groaned and speedily rushed to his wolf, but he was quick and moved away from me. I tried to turn around, but he pushed me to the ground and bounced on me. I tried to push him away from me, but he pinned me down to the ground with so much ease. Indeed, there was no doubt he was gifted with an incredible gift of strength, seeing that he wasn't really serious with the fight.
Groaning softly, he moved away from me and flashed me a worried look
''Are you okay?'' He asked,
''Yeah, I'm fine.'' I replied while he moved his gaze on me, making sure I wasn't Injured.
''Let race back to our clothes.'' I nodded my head to his words and raced back to where our clothes were kept. When we got there, he easily shifted into his human form while I did the same.
''Holy goddess.'' He blurted out as he glared at me with stunned eyes.
''Is something wrong.'' I asked confused. The look on his face scares me, and I wondered what he must have seen to make him look this startled.
''Your face, your hair.'' He blurted out, which got me confused, and I had to pick a lock of my hair and tried looking at it because it was just a bit above my shoulders. I stared at my hair and noticed the color was back to it shades of red, which dumbfounded me.
''Vicky, your face is back. How is this possible.'' He blurted out dumbfounded, but also in an excited tone.
''My face, my voice?'' I asked confused and touched my face with my hand only to realize the features of my real face were back.
''Does this mean…'' I paused because I couldn't complete my words
''Yes Vicky, your face is back.'' Alpha Derick spoke excitedly and moved closer to me.
''Oh my goddess, thank you.'' He murmured those words of appreciation, while, I just stood there dumbfounded.
''Get dress, you need to see it yourself.'' Not able to say a word, I hurriedly dressed up while alpha Derick did the same and we both left the woods. We went back to the mansion and I could see the shocked eyes of everyone we met on the way as we hurried back to his room. Hurriedly, I took the stairs and dashed into alpha Derick's room. I rushed to the mirror and stood before it.
''Holy mother.'' I blurted out.
My face and hair were back, although my hair was still the same length. There was no mark or bruises on my face, rather my face was glowing.
''How is this possible.'' I mumbled shocked.
''The moon goddess. She blesses whoever she wishes to.'' Alpha Derick said those words and hugged me from behind while he stared at me from the mirror.
''Welcome back.'' He said with a big smile on his face, and I couldn't help but smiled back at him as I stared at myself in the mirror. I've heard of miracles done by the moon goddess, but I never knew she loves me this much to do this for me. I remembered a certain time in my life when I thought she hated me because I was wolfless and without abilities, but I never knew she has so much in store for me.
''Thank you!'' I mumbled those words with tears filled eyes
''Thank you for everything.'' I murmured as I remembered the few things she has done for me. I knew it was impossible to stay alive for so many minutes after being buried alive, but the moon goddess kept me alive until Bernard showed up, and now she has restored back my face when I did not ask for it.
''Thank you !'' I mumbled those words and burst in tears, Only to be hugged by alpha Derick. He gently strokes my hair while I relaxed in his arms for a while before pulling away.
''I'll go take a shower.'' I said those words and left the bathroom. I put on the cold shower and stood on it. Sighing in relief, I made a mind link to Jane and got a response.
''Hey Vicky!'' She responded
''My face is back.'' I announced.
''Wow, how.'' She asked, stunned, and I explained everything to her.
''This is great news, I'll come see you later.'' She spoke happily.
''Where are you?'' I asked curious
''I'm in Germany.''
''Doing what.'
''I and other werewolves with the same ability are sent to different part of the world to announce the war to the werewolves.'' She explained.
''That's stressful. The alphas should have done that through a mind link.'' I suggested.
''Yeah, they did, but some are still novice they don't know how to connect to a multiple mind Link, so those are the werewolves we are meeting.'' She explained, while I just heaved a sigh and tied a towel around my chest.
''Stay safe and come back.''
''I will, bye.'' She ended the mind link and I stepped into the room, but alpha Derick was nowhere around. I moved to his closet and took out a sweatpants and just then I heard Bernard's voice in my head.
