''Bernard.'' I responded to the mind link.

''Bernard.'' I called out his name. ''You are an important friend to me and I would rather not fight against you, neither do I want to fight against your people, please let's stop This.'' I pleaded.

''There is only one way of stopping this war, and that is if you come to me and be my woman…''

''Never!'' I yelled those words even before he could finish his words. I can never imagine myself in another man's arms apart from Derick's.

''Very well then, I'll see you in the battlefield.'' He said those words nonchalantly and ended the mind link.

''Damn it.'' I yelled and ran my fingers through my soaked hair. This fight was really happening, and I feared my dream might come to pass.

''No.'' I whispered to myself and shook my head, trying to get rid of the images flashing in my head.

I stayed in the room all day lost in deep thought until alpha Derick showed up later at night.

''I wanted to go searching for you.'' I teased as I stood on my feet and gave him a soft kiss on the lips which made him sighed heavily and placed a kiss on my forehead.

''What happened. You stayed for so long.'' I asked while pulling him to the bed. Sighing heavily, he sat on the bed while I squat before him and took off his boots.

''I had a pack meeting with my people and also made multiple mind links.''he explained while I hum and went for the button of his shirt.

''My offer still stand.'' He murmured to my hearing, but I ignored him and unbuttoned his shirt before taking it off. We held each other's gaze and I knew he was expecting answers from me, but I ignored his words and pulled him up from the bed with my both hands.

''Go take a cold bath while I send your food in.'' I said, but he shook his head and said.'' I'm not hungry, don't worry about that.'' I wanted to protest and forced him to have something, but I decided to let him be. He looked really worn out, and I didn't want to bother him with food.

''Alright, go take your bath.'' I said and slightly pushed him to the direction of the bathroom. I watched him tiredly dragged his heavy feet to the bathroom and shut the door. Taking a deep breath, I sat on the bed and thought of what to do. Alpha Derick was still insisting for me to leave, and I knew he was worried about me, but leaving me out of this fight would be a big disaster to the werewolves and I can't let that happen.

''Yeah.'' I replied and relaxed in his arms while resting my head in his chest.

''You also had a dream.'' I asked after several minutes of silence

''More like a nightmare.'' He murmured with a sigh and placed a kiss on my forehead.

''What did you see.'' I asked, curious

''You…'' He paused and swallowed nervously.

''You fell to the ground right before me, gushing out blood from your mouth.'' He murmured and sighed loudly.

''I also had the same dream.'' I murmured worried.

This is bad.'' He grumbled and gently pushed me away. I watched him leave the bed and took out a short from his closet, put it on and stood beside the window. His eyes were full of worries and fear, and I knew the next word he was going to say.

''I can't let you fight this war.'' He murmured to my hearing.
