Episode 12
★LUCIA★
Since escaping from the territory of that pack, I have been running non-stop without looking back.
I have run until I am almost bleeding, not even sure of my destination.
I stumbled into the woods and kept running, but I am unfamiliar with this place and have never been here before. Due to my lack of knowledge about this location, I continue to run for my dear life, hoping to soon arrive at a place I recognize.
At least if I could reach a place where I could find some ordinary humans, perhaps I could plead with one of them to let me spend the night and sleep in their home. However, it seems like this forest is vast, as I continue to run, it only grows wilder and more expansive.
At this point, exhaustion has set in and I realize that I have gone far enough that they will not be able to catch up with me. Therefore, I must take a break and rest.
I stopped running and sat down beside a tree, placing my hand on my chest as I continued to breathe heavily. Despite my exhaustion, I remained frightened as the forest did not appear to be a safe place, with the unsettling sounds of birds adding to my unease.
As I sat there, I heard a noise in the distance, just a little bit away from my location.
I became extremely scared, thinking that the pack had finally caught up with me. However, I managed to pull myself together and find a glimmer of hope because the noise was coming from the front. If it had been from behind where I had already passed, I would have easily given up and continued running.
But it wasn't; the noise came from the front. I summoned the courage to get up from the ground and started moving towards the noise cautiously.
As I got closer to the source of the noise, it sounded like an unconscious human being. However, I couldn't confirm this until I saw it for myself. So, I hid nearby and observed from a distance.
To my shock, I saw a group of people dressed in black, carrying what appeared to be an unconscious person. They threw the person onto the ground as if he was already dead. I watched them closely as they stepped away from the body.
As I gaze upon the lifeless body lying on the ground, I can't help but feel a sense of outrage at the careless manner in which this person's life was taken. The sight of the bloodied body is both unsettling and alarming.
It's highly probable that this individual was beaten to death, and this realization fills me with fear. It's a sobering reminder that evil can strike anywhere, and no place is truly safe.
Given the circumstances, I find myself contemplating whether it might be wiser to stay with the pack led by Alpha Jesse rather than risking a similar fate in this dangerous environment. With my resources dwindling and danger lurking around every corner, it's a tough decision to make.
As soon as I saw the gruesome scene before me, fear overtook me and I instinctively turned to run back to the pack that I had previously rejected. However, as I tried to ignore the lifeless body lying at the back of me, I felt a strong force pulling me back.
Confused and unsure of what was happening, I tried to shut out the pull and resume my escape, but I found that I couldn't. It was as though something was drawing me towards the body.
As I struggled with my internal conflict, I realized that I couldn't simply leave without investigating further. Perhaps there was still a chance that the person was alive and in need of help.
Here's a revised version of the text you provided:
Overcoming my fear, I ran back to the body and approached it with trepidation. Summoning my courage, I reached out and touched the person.
"Hello, can you hear me?" I asked, hoping for a response.
To my relief, I heard a faint voice respond. "Help me," he said in a weak and feeble tone. I was surprised to find out that the individual was still alive, but my fear remained.
Despite my uncertainty, I knew I had to do everything in my power to help this person in need, even though I didn't know him.
"Okay, just try to stay calm, I'll help you," I said as I stood up and scanned the area for any possible way to transport the injured person.
However, I quickly realized that I was alone in the forest with no means of carrying him to safety. Despite the odds, I knew that I had to do everything I could to help.
With no other options available, I decided to try to carry him on my back, even though I knew it would be difficult due to the amount of blood on his body. I resolved to do my best and help this person in need.
I knew that carrying the injured person would likely result in blood getting on my body, but I didn't let that stop me.
With determination, I lifted the person from the ground and began to carry him away. However, I soon realized that I didn't know where to take him. The person needed urgent medical attention to survive, but I had no idea where to go.
I continued walking with the injured person, unsure of where I was heading. Should I take him back to Alpha Jesse's pack territory? But would they even accept an outsider in their pack, especially one who was badly injured? These were the questions running through my mind as I struggled to find a solution.
That shouldn't be a problem because I can simply declare that it's the only thing they need to do if they want me to stay, and they'll likely comply. However, the issue is whether I can reach there before he gives up. This guy is in a coma and is expected to pass away soon.
Finally, I laid him on the ground and remembered some herbal remedies my mother had taught me.
It may not necessarily cure him, but it's like providing first aid that can sustain his life for a considerable amount of time. I laid him down on the ground and ventured deep into the forest to search for the appropriate herbs.
After a few minutes, I found them and hurried back, clutching the herbs in my bare hands. As I was about to apply them to him, I hoped that they would help alleviate his condition.
A hand suddenly covered my mouth and I was overcome with fear. I almost fainted, convinced that the people who had put the guy in a coma had caught up with me.
Despite my impulse to scream, I couldn't, as the hand prevented me from doing so. I struggled to remove it, but it held firm.
"Don't be afraid, my princess. We're here," a voice whispered in my ear, and I immediately recognized it.
The hand covering my mouth belonged to my supposed father's Beta, Silva. As he removed his hand, I felt a wave of relief wash over me, and I calmed down.
I turned to him and asked, 'You're here now? You're the only one I can see.' He was the only person visible to me at the moment.
Then, to my surprise, the others emerged from their various hiding places.
Silva spoke up, pointing to the others. "We're here to take you home," he said. I stared at them in silence for a few seconds, trying to process what was happening.
Eventually, I replied, "Alright. It's all good. You guys came at the right time. Let's help him. He's dying." Justin approached the injured person and examined him closely.
"Who is this guy?" Justin asked, seeking more information.
"I don't know him. I just found him beaten into a state of coma by a group of unknown people. We need to help him now that he's dying," I said urgently, trying to lift the injured person.
However, Silva stopped me by grabbing my arm, and I looked at him with confusion.
"If you don't know him, why should we help him?" he asked, releasing my arm and walking away.
"I don't understand," I replied, perplexed by his question and his sudden departure.
"Take her and let's go home," he commanded the others, as they firmly grasped both of my hands and I began to scream.
"Never dare to touch me! If you are not going to save him, then leave me too!" I shouted at them, hoping they would heed my words. Silva turned and fixed his gaze on the others who were awaiting his instructions.
"I don't understand. What are you waiting for? Take her and let's go home!" he commanded as they attempted to lift me up once more.
"No! Stay away from me! I am the daughter of your Alpha, and I command you to take him with me!" I shouted as Silva turned to look at me once more.
"I'm sorry, but I have to disobey your order. The Alpha has not yet granted you that power. I'm sorry... guys, take her and let's go home," he ordered.
Finally, they managed to grab hold of me and Kase hoisted me up onto his shoulders. Despite my continued protests and screams, they paid me no attention.

★Uncle Sydney★
Liam is currently on the second floor of my building. I was supposed to be with him, but I decided to leave him alone for the time being.
There is something ominous about him. He is a hybrid, and I'm almost certain that he is unaware of it.
In case you don't know me yet, I am a lone wolf. I don't belong to any pack, and I refrain from attacking others. My powers were inherited from my father, who is also an independent wolf. I learned everything I know from him.
I owe it all to my father for training me to become stronger than him. I believe this is the mistake my brother Jameson made - he failed to teach his children about their identity and abilities, which is why they appear so weak.
However, everything happens for a reason, and for the time being, with Liam living with me, I know that I have my work cut out for me.
I need to begin teaching him about his identity and the lifestyle he should be living. But for now, I must give him some time to recover from the pain of losing his family.
Once he is ready, he will accompany me on my hunts. We will venture into the woods at midnight, and take long journeys during the full moon.

After repeatedly asking them to help the poor, innocent guy, I was relieved when they finally brought me home. Having already lost my family, I can bear losing anyone else.
When we arrived at the pack's territory, Kase dropped me to the ground, which caused me to glare at him in frustration.
UK rushed out of the building and embraced Silva, while I stood there watching them. Kase held onto my hand tightly, knowing that I was stubborn and might try to escape.
"Is the Alpha back?" Silva asked UK, but before she could answer, I interjected.
"So, you do care about someone," I said, directing my remark at Silva. He stopped kissing UK and turned to face me. UK hid behind him, thinking that I was concerned about her.
"What do you mean?" Silva asked me.
"You abandoned someone who needed your help to survive. You left him to die, even though someone cared about him, just like you care about her," I said, tears streaming down my face. Then, I heard a voice.
"Guys!" We turned and saw Justin arriving with the guy I had begged them to help before, but they had refused. I was overjoyed by Justin's actions.
"Justin?! I thought I ordered that he should be left in the woods?" Silva yelled at Justin.
"I'm sorry if I disobeyed, but just take a look at this guy. He has our pack's mark," Justin replied.
"I think he's one of us, if I'm not mistaken," he announced, leaving me staring at him in shock.
