Episode 13

"He's one of us, if I'm not mistaken," he announced, leaving me staring at him in shock. "I don't know much about this, but I think you guys should take a look," Justin added as Silva stared at me before reaching out to the unconscious body. I also joined him. There was a mark on his right arm that they were examining, which made me look at my own arm.

I have that same mark, and all of them have it as well. So, who is this guy?

"I think the Alpha would be the right person to know what to do about that," Silva suggested.

"For now, Kase and Debby, take him to the pack clinic for treatment," Silva ordered, and they promptly obeyed.

"He will remain there until Alpha Jesse returns," he added, turning to face me.

"Are you satisfied now?" he asked as I looked directly into his face.

"For Justin," I replied, and he nodded, turning to look at Justin.

"Take her to her room," he ordered, and Justin started to pull me forcefully.

"Hold it right there! I'll go by myself!" I protested, overjoyed that the guy had finally been rescued.

I started making my way towards my room, but I couldn't shake off the strange suspicion that was gnawing at me. Could it be possible that I am truly Alpha Jesse's daughter? And if so, does that mean that I was adopted? Could the story he told me actually be true?

It was all very confusing as my mother had never mentioned anything about this to me before. But with the mark I saw on my body today, I couldn't help but wonder if there was some truth to Alpha Jesse's story after all.

The truth was becoming clear to me that I was Alpha Jesse's daughter, but why did they have to wipe out my family? There was no way he could deceive me into believing that they weren't the ones who killed my family.

They murdered my family and kidnapped me. If it wasn't Alpha Jesse and his pack who were after me, then who else could it be? Of course, no one else.

All these thoughts were racing through my mind as I walked towards my room.

As I reached my room, I turned to look at Justin.

"Thank you for your excellent work. You did well by helping him, and I really appreciate it," I praised him, expecting a better response.

"I'm sorry to say, my princess, but I didn't do it for you," he replied, and I stared at him for a few seconds before forcing a smile.

"It's okay. Maybe you can go now," I said, dismissing him as I entered my room and closed the door.

As I collapsed in relief onto the door, I couldn't help but think to myself, "I'm finally back in the murderer's territory." I turned around and noticed that the omegas and my step sis were still sound asleep on my bed.

"Looks like they had a good nap," I remarked as I approached the window and took a seat in the nearby chair. I gazed out at the sky, admiring the birds as they soared through the air.

I didn't want to disturb them, as I had already drugged them myself.

There was no need to panic, so I remained calm and continued to gaze out the window. Suddenly, I heard a cough behind me.

I turned around to see that it was the Alpha's second daughter, who was slowly waking up. This was the perfect opportunity to speak with her and learn more about her, as she was my sister.

I observed her as her eyes began to flutter open, and I waited patiently for her to fully awaken.

She yawned and rubbed her neck, slowly opening her eyes and gazing at me.

"Welcome back to the land of the living, dear sister," I greeted her as she looked around, realizing that she was lying on my bed.

"What the hell is going on here?!" she screamed, jumping down from the bed. I wasn't sure why she was so alarmed.

"Are you all right?" I asked, concerned, as she approached me and stared at me intently.

"You idiot! I'll deal with you up on this roof! How dare you drug me?!" she shouted at me.

"Just so I could sleep on the same bed as ordinary omegas?! Are you crazy?!" she continued to scream.

I couldn't help but wonder why she was making such a fuss. Did she really think she was better than the omegas? Was she screaming just because she had to sleep in the same bed as them?

I didn't understand. What was wrong with sleeping with omegas? Weren't they human beings just like her?

"I hate to say this, but I think you might be the crazy one here," I calmly replied, despite her growing annoyance.

"Are you serious? It seems like you're enjoying yourself here, thinking that you've finally stolen my crown from me!" she yelled at me, but I wasn't intimidated.

I recognized her type: someone who barks like a dog but has no real bite.

She then turned to look at the omegas who were still lying on the bed due to the drugs I had given them.

"Useless things! How dare you sleep on a costly bed! How dare you all!" she screamed at the Omegas, striking them with her hands, but they remained unresponsive.

"What? Do you have the audacity to continue sleeping when I am calling you to wake up!?" she yelled at them, before storming out of the room in anger.

Left speechless, all I could think was that this girl must be crazy.

I believe that the Alpha gave birth to himself here amongst this crazy group of people. Can't she see that these guys are under the influence of drugs and she expects them to just wake up instantly because she's calling them? That's foolish and illogical.

Anyways, it's not my concern. However, if I have to continue living with these people, I think things will have to change, but it might result in a conflict between me and her.

Just a few minutes after she left the room, she returned with an iron rod that looked like it was on fire. She banged the door open and entered brandishing the rod, causing me to scream in fear.

"What the hell are you doing!? Are you out of your mind!?" I yelled, as I leapt onto my seat.

She turned to me and gave me a piercing stare before directing her attention to the maids. Using the fiery iron rod, she began peeling off their skin, causing them to scream and writhe in agony, one after the other.

"Gosh, this girl has gone mad!" I muttered, watching in horror.

"You are all incredibly stupid! How dare you sleep in the same bed as me!" She yelled at them, as they continued to tremble in pain.

"Now get the hell out of here!" she yelled at them, causing them to hurry out of my room.

She then approached me and spoke in a menacing tone, "If you know what's good for you, you'll leave this place for your own safety." With that, she turned and left my room, leaving me to exhale a sigh of relief.

"What kind of heart has God given this girl? She's an animal in human form," I muttered to myself, shaken by the encounter.

I quickly made my way to the door and locked it, afraid that someone might come and harm me.

As I lay on my bed, memories of my family flooded my mind and tears streamed down my cheeks. However, my thoughts were interrupted by a knock on my door. I wondered who it could be, so I gathered myself and went to answer the door. To my surprise, it was Alpha Jesse.

"Are you crying?" he asked in a low tone.

"Are you expecting me to be happy after you murdered my family?" I retorted as he raised his voice.

"I didn't kill your family!" he shouted at me, to which I responded loudly.

"Then who did? Tell me, who did?" I yelled at him, covering my face as tears continued to roll down my cheeks. He slowly approached me and gently brushed my hair back.

"If bringing your mother would make you happy, I have already instructed them to search for her wherever she may be and bring her back," he said as I looked up at him.

"Really?" I asked in surprise.

"Yes, we need to get to the bottom of what happened to your family, especially your mother, who is my wife as well," he explained, as I hugged him tightly, tears streaming down my face.

"Thank you so much!" I exclaimed with tears of joy in my eyes.

"Don't worry, you are welcome here. This is your home. Diana, my other daughter, is your younger sister," he reassured me.

"Arianna, come in," he called out as Arianna opened the door and entered the room.

"She will be your personal maid and will attend to your needs only. If there is anything else you need, just let me know."

"What is your name, my lovely princess?" he asked, as I stared at him for a moment.

"Lucia" I replied
