Chapter 82 Next move
Rave didn't like Lunaria but her words still had a way of hurting her more and more every single time.
“Direct your anger on the one person you have to fight.
If you win, the entire world will be at your feet. The entire ruin of the world will be on your shoulder.
But until then, don't you dare cross the line”.
She said and just like that, she was gone.
Rave felt a twist in her stomach. Something was wrong, something wasn't going her way and she didn't like it one bit.
She had spent almost all of her life preparing for this, hating Hazel, planning to ruin her, and trying to win the war. She didn't like the sudden feeling of helplessness she was feeling.
For the first time in her entire life, she actually felt like Hazel would win.
She immediately shook her head.
“That can't happen, I need to win this, I need to beat her.
The world is mine, the throne is mine!! I will never let her have it… never”!!!
She yelled and Azrael appeared.
“What's wrong? Why are you so angry”?
He asked and she turned to him, her heart beating up and down so fast. Her eyes looked at him with a brutally cold gaze.
“Leave… get out”!!!
She yelled so loudly. She didn't want to see him, she didn't want to see anyone from the underworld, not now.
“Rave, what's going on? You know you can always talk to me”.
He said but she just eyed him and dashed out of the room, confusing him.
Back to the present
Rave kept walking around in the woods close to Hazel's place.
She saw them when they arrived and even though she didn't know where they had gone, she kept wandering what was going on.
She knew Hazel was acting differently.
She could tell from the last message she had sent that was fully ignored.
The Hazel she knew would have rushed over because it had to do with her son but she didn't.
She kept looking to see if she would see something but the entire place was weirdly quiet.
As a dark fae, she had many powers, including the ability to hear from afar, but she couldn't hear a single thing.
“Do you want me to sneak in"?
She suddenly heard someone from behind her, startling her a bit.
“Make some noise when you move will you”?
Did said and Raina smiled weirdly.
“Sorry, about that".
She said as she rubbed the back of her neck.
“Can you get in”?
Rave asked seriously and Raina nodded.
“They still do not know I'm working for you.
I can steer up some trouble and findy way in”.
She said and Rave sighed. She wasn't sure it would work but Raina's plan gave her a plan of her own.
“Fine, but do not get caught or else, I won't be able to help you”.
Raina immediately nodded with a smile before she left.
Rave kept looking at her for a while as a smirk appeared on her face.
“Come out”!!
Raina yelled as she stood in front of their door.
The guards came close, trying to get her out but she had gotten a spell from Rave that stopped anyone from coming close to her unless she permits it.
“I know you're in there Hazel. How dare you enjoy the good life while the rest of your family lives in agony.
How can you be so comfortable when your family lives like outcasts”?
She was yelling at the top of her lungs, so loudly that Hazel woke up from her sleep.
She could tell who owned that voice. She could recognize it anytime, any where.
Sitting up, she sighed before leaving the room.
When she got close to Raina, she could see the smile on her face.
“What are you doing here”?
She asked and Raina moved two steps further.
“You look a mess sis, what happened? Been too busy”?
She asked but Hazel scoffed.
“You should be asking Rave since you seem to be very close to her now".
She said and Raina blinked several times as she didn't know that Hazel had found out about them.
“How…”
She wanted to ask but Hazel smirked.
“I have a proposition for you Raina".
She said and moved close, standing right in front of Raina and surprising her even more as she was not suppose to be able to come so close.
“Leave Rave and work for me, and I might just consider sharing your life”.
She said and Raina swallowed.
Hazel looked different. She looked stronger, more brave, and she definitely eluded a lot more power.
“You knew”.
Raina managed to speak and Hazel nodded as she looked down before looking back at her.
“The raven that kept following me that night was way too obvious.
The look in your eyes told me everything I needed to know”.
She said.
“So? Yes I helped her that day because she offered to give me medicine for my mom. Is that so bad?
At least, unlike you, she actually tries to help the family.
But today, I'm not here for her, I'm here to see you”.
She said, trying to hide the truth from Hazel as she knew she couldn't afford to get caught.
“You need to see Mom and Dad".
“My mom is dead and last I remember, I do not have a father".
She said and turned, about to leave.
'no, I can't let her leave like this'.
Raina thought and immediately fell on her knees.
“I know you hate us, I know you want nothing to do with us, but please, for the sake of blood. You need to see them.
They are in really bad shape and they want to see you”.
She said, putting on a wonderful act, as though she was about to cry.
While everyone was distracted by Raina's show, Rave found her way into the house and snuck in through the window.
When she got in, the room she landed in was Lucian's and immediately she saw the little boy sleeping alone, an evil smile appeared on her face.
