Chapter 161 Aiden Discovers Keira Missing

Chapter 162 She Just Went Out for a Walk

"You know exactly what I'm talking about!" Luke stared straight at him fearlessly.

"What kind of life has Keira been living lately? Has she had even one truly happy day by your side?

She's been hurt and humiliated by you over and over, schemed against by your women. What have you ever given her? If you're a real man, let her go!"

Luke's words hit home.

He wanted to argue back, but found he couldn't come up with a single strong word to refute him.

Besides, Luke really did seem to have no idea where Keira was.

Aiden left in a daze.

Luke shouted after him,

"Aiden, wake up! She doesn't love you at all, never has!"

These words echoed in Aiden's mind over and over like a curse.

He swallowed his heartache and went to the airport himself to search.

But by nightfall, he still had nothing.

He dragged his exhausted body back to the estate, still hoping Keira might suddenly come back and tell him she'd just taken Apollo out to play.

But sadly, she didn't come back.

Without her and Apollo, the villa was terrifyingly cold.

Aiden sat alone on the living room sofa, the letter spread out in front of him. He read it over and over, word by word, as if trying to carve every letter into his bones.

All kinds of emotions mixed together, almost swallowing him whole.

He closed his eyes, but her every smile and frown would appear in his mind, making it impossible to rest.

Aiden gave a self-mocking laugh, staring into the empty space. "You wanted to leave all along, didn't you. Of course."

His eyes were bloodshot, showing deep resentment, but he refused to admit he'd lost completely in this relationship.

He went upstairs to the room where Keira used to stay.

Pushing open the door, he found all the gifts he'd given her piled in the corner, not one of them opened.

His eyes felt burned, and fighting back the sourness in his heart, he crouched down.

He took out the luxury clothes, bags, and jewelry, wiping them with a soft cloth.

Then he carefully hung them up and put them away, sorted by category.

His movements were slow and gentle, as if handling some priceless treasure.

In the huge bedroom, it was so quiet you could only hear the rustling of fabric and his suppressed breathing.

"Mr. Coleman." Justin stood in the doorway, watching this scene, wanting to speak but holding back.

He'd never seen Aiden like this before.

This madness beneath the calm was more frightening than his earlier rage.

Aiden didn't turn around. "Redecorate the master bedroom.

She doesn't like the dark tones from before. Change it to the light colors she likes, and put these things in there properly."

Justin's Adam's apple moved with difficulty, but he couldn't help saying quietly,

"Mr. Coleman, Keira might not come back."

He wanted to say "won't come back."

But under Aiden's suddenly cold and sharp gaze, he swallowed the rest of his words.

"She's just angry, out clearing her head."

Aiden's tone was flat, as if convincing himself,

"When she calms down and thinks things through, she'll come back. This is her home."

Justin didn't dare say more, just nodded in agreement, though a chill rose in his heart.

Keira's heart was truly cruel.

Leaving such a heartless letter and disappearing without a trace, yet driving Aiden to the point where he seemed like a different person.

In this strange atmosphere, Aiden's phone rang again.

The screen showed a jewelry designer's name.

This was someone Aiden had secretly commissioned to design a proposal ring to make things up to Keira.

He glanced at it and answered, putting it on speaker.

A respectful voice came through,

"Mr. Coleman, we've completed all the drafts for the one hundred proposal diamond rings you commissioned.

Would you like us to send you the digital versions, or if it's convenient, I can personally bring samples for you to review and choose from?"

The voice on the phone was especially clear in the overly quiet bedroom.

Justin's heart jumped, looking at Aiden in shock.

One hundred proposal rings?

Aiden had quietly done something like this—he wanted to propose to that heartless Keira?

After a moment of silence, Aiden's lips curved in self-mockery. "Keep the designs and samples. No need to bring them over for now."

The designer was obviously stunned. "Mr. Coleman, you mean?"

"Keep all one hundred. When she comes back, let her choose for herself." Aiden's voice was exceptionally calm.

A gasp came through the phone, followed by hurried agreement,

"Yes, yes, yes, of course, Mr. Coleman. Understood, understood. We'll keep them safe and await the good news from you and Ms. Grey!"

After hanging up, the bedroom fell back into dead silence.

The air was filled with an indescribable heaviness.

"Mr. Coleman!" Justin couldn't watch anymore and spoke up. "Wake up! She's not coming back. Her heart isn't here at all, and she doesn't deserve you doing all this for her."

"Shut up!"

A roar exploded.

Aiden turned around, his face livid. "Get out!"

"Mr. Coleman." Justin wanted to say more, but was scared into silence by the storm in Aiden's eyes.

Aiden pointed at the door. "If I hear you say one more word about her, get the hell out of the Coleman Group."

Justin's face went pale. He knew Aiden was truly ready to kill.

He didn't dare speak again. With a deep look at Aiden, he silently withdrew.

Aiden stood there, silent for a long time.

A mouthful of fresh blood suddenly surged up his throat without warning.

He quickly covered his mouth, but dark red blood still seeped through his fingers, dripping onto the floor, shocking to see.

He staggered, leaned against the wall, and slid down to sit on the floor.

Everything in the room now became a mockery, laughing at his stubbornness and foolishness.

Just then, Zoey arrived.

She'd just found out Keira was gone, and couldn't be happier.

Everything at today's press conference must have been Keira's doing. She had to grab hold of Aiden's heart now to turn things around.

"Aiden, it's okay. Keira's gone, but you still have me. I can give you everything."

"Enough!" Aiden cut off her declaration of love with a cold shout.

He didn't even look at her, just had the butler throw her out.

"No! Don't, Aiden! You can't treat me like this. I love you! Aiden."

Zoey's cries were shrill and piercing, full of resentment.

She stared hard at Aiden, trying to find even the slightest trace of past affection on his face.

But there was nothing.

The butler carefully glanced at Aiden's tense profile and asked quietly, "Mr. Coleman, what about the media?"

"Suppress it for now. Find out who did it."

"Yes, Mr. Coleman."

The bedroom fell quiet again.

Aiden sat on the carpet, mindlessly scrolling through his phone, when he saw a post Joshua had made ten minutes ago.

The caption read: My daughter.

In the photo, Joshua sat on a villa sofa with a smug expression.

Next to him on the floor sat a delicate little girl with pigtails.
