Chapter 160 Leaving

Chapter 161 Aiden Discovers Keira Missing

Right now, the press conference has descended into complete chaos.

The man who looked just like Kyle walked up onto the stage step by step, in full view of everyone.

He took off his baseball cap, revealing a face with a somewhat cocky expression.

"Zoey! Are you going to say you don't know me?"

Zoey's body shook uncontrollably, barely managing to steady herself against the host beside her.

Forcing out a smile, "Sir, you..."

"Sir?"

The man sneered and suddenly stepped forward.

"I'm your goddamn ex-boyfriend, the one who cleaned up all your messes back then, who let you climb up using my shoulders as a stepping stone!

What? Now that you're a big star, you don't recognize this shameful old flame anymore?"

The venue fell deathly silent.

Then erupted into a massive uproar!

Below the stage, camera flashes went crazy.

"You're lying!"

Zoey shrieked, cutting him off. "Security, security! Get him off the stage!"

But the man suddenly made a vow.

"Every word is true. If I'm lying, may I be struck down right here!"

He lowered his hand, his gaze sharp as a knife, pressing closer to Zoey step by step, demanding loudly,

"What about you? Zoey, do you dare? Do you dare to swear in front of all the media and your fans?

Say you never dated me, never had me hurt people for you? Swear on your career, do you dare?"

Countless scrutinizing eyes from below pushed Zoey's psychological defenses to the breaking point.

Her lips trembling, she instinctively backed away, unable to say a single word.

She unconsciously turned her head, looking to Aiden below the stage for help.

Aiden made a gesture to Justin beside him.

Justin understood and immediately had several bodyguards go up. Just as they were about to reach the man...

The massive screen behind the stage suddenly lit up with a compromising video.

In the footage, Zoey wore a revealing slip dress, actively wrapping her arms around a man's neck and kissing him.

The man's profile bore an eighty to ninety percent resemblance to the person on stage.

The video's background music was noisy, but you could faintly hear Zoey's flirtatious voice saying,

"Kyle, that ungrateful newcomer, help me deal with her, okay? When I make it big, I won't forget you."

Zoey shouted toward the control booth, "Turn it off, turn it off now, that's fake, turn it off!"

Her loss of composure and that video completely ignited the scene.

Reporters frantically took photos and videos.

Questions and doubts came flooding in like a tide!

The man on stage struggled fiercely in the security guards' grip, laughing maniacally and shouting,

"See that? This is your idol, Zoey! A woman who used men to get ahead, then threw them away like trash!"

Hearing this, Zoey completely lost her rationality.

She spun around and pointed at the man, screaming,

"You shut up! You're lying, what are you anyway, a lowly nobody, you think you deserve to stand with me?

You're just a pathetic loser trying to destroy me! It won't work!"

Those words were too shocking.

Wasn't that basically an admission?

Seeing things going wrong, Justin quickly had the bodyguards take action, dragging them off the stage and escorting them away through the emergency exit.

The chaos was broadcast live, sending the internet into overdrive.

[Oh my god! The most shocking news of the year! Zoey's image is completely destroyed!]

[Used her ex-boyfriend to climb up, then dumped him after using him? And had he hurt others? So scary!]

[The Coleman Group's stock price is going to crash, right? Choosing this kind of artist!]

[Was that previous story about saving someone also fake?]

...

Sitting in the car, Aiden's expression was so dark it could drip water.

It didn't matter if Zoey got into trouble, but she couldn't drag down the Coleman family.

"Take down the trending topics!" he ordered.

"Yes, Mr. Coleman!" Justin's forehead broke out in sweat as he immediately complied.

Soon, the PR department sent various messages, but Aiden couldn't read a single word.

He felt inexplicably irritated.

Unconsciously, he picked up his phone and dialed Keira's number.

He wanted to hear her voice.

However, all that answered him was the busy signal, over and over again.

Not answering?

Aiden's frown deepened.

Was Keira still angry about what had happened before?

He tossed his phone aside, trying to suppress the unease in his heart.

Just then, his phone rang.

The caller ID showed it was the estate's butler.

Aiden's heart jumped, and he immediately answered.

"Mr. Coleman," the butler's voice carried panic, "Ms. Grey and Apollo are both gone!"

"Gone, where did they go?" Aiden didn't react at first, his tone impatient.

The butler added urgently, "They should have left. Ms. Grey packed her things and some of Apollo's necessities and left this behind."

The sound of paper rustling came through the phone. "It's a letter for you. Ms. Grey said not to look for her anymore, that you two are even now, with no more connection."

Before the butler could finish, Aiden felt a chill rush from his feet to his head, all the blood in his body freezing.

"When did this happen?" he demanded through gritted teeth.

"This morning, after you left, Ms. Grey came back.

She said she was taking Apollo out for a few days to relax, and we didn't dare stop her. It wasn't until this afternoon, when the servants were tidying the room, that they found this letter."

"Useless!" Aiden growled and hung up.

The car suddenly braked hard, stopping at the main building entrance of the estate.

He pushed open the car door and practically stumbled inside.

The butler tremblingly presented the letter.

"Aiden,

By the time you read this letter, I'll have already left with Apollo.

Don't look for me, and don't take it out on others. This is between the two of us and has nothing to do with anyone else.

I was the one who mistook you for someone else back then and shouldn't have pestered you all these years. Now we're even, so let's just let each other go."

Aiden's head was buzzing.

He staggered back a step, barely managing to stand by leaning against the wall.

She really left?

Was she really going to walk out of his world completely?

No! He wouldn't allow it, absolutely wouldn't allow it!

"Find her!" Aiden suddenly looked up, his eyes bloodshot, roaring at Justin and the bodyguards who had rushed over,

"No matter what, you have to find her for me!"

The entire Coleman Group staff cast out a dragnet.

However, Keira and Apollo had vanished without a trace, with no leads.

Aiden even personally drove to Luke's school.

"Where's Keira? Do you know where she went?"

Luke was initially startled by his intensity, but quickly composed himself.

A flash of understanding crossed his eyes, along with satisfaction.

He sneered, his tone full of mockery,

"Aiden, you drove her away, and now you're asking me where she is? Don't you think that's ridiculous?"

"What did you say?" Aiden's eyes were fierce.
