Chapter 58 Bully Catherine

Chapter 58 Bully Catherine
Meanwhile, Rossie locked herself in her room after returning from the auction. She refused to come out and interact with anyone. She was in a bad mood.

The news immediately spread to her three older siblings. An hour later, they came home and knocked on her door. Rossie, who initially wanted to calm herself down in her room, was forced to open the door and show her three siblings her gloomy face.

“What's wrong?” asked Rossie listlessly.

“Rossie, Aunt Carolina told me everything. How are you? Why did this happen?” asked Dominic.
Ethan immediately grabbed his sister's hand and led her to sit on the sofa, then snorted in annoyance. “Huh! What kind of bandage is this?”

While removing the bandage and treating Rossie, Ethan said, “Dominic, what about the assistant you sent for Rossie? Why didn't he protect our sister?”

“Ouch, Ethan, take it easy,” Rossie exclaimed, then said again, "Never mind, there's no need to blame Darren!

I gave him that task at the time, and besides, this happened in the ladies' room, so how could he have been there?“

”Tomorrow, I'll send a summons to the Johansen group and the Jones group. I'll sue those damn women for hurting you and damaging your reputation. If necessary, I'll burn down their houses so they know who Cavendish really is!"

Rossie sighed deeply, “Forget it! It's not just Cavendish who has a legal team, especially with your abilities, Marcus. They have one too, and even though we will definitely win, this commotion will definitely reach my father's ears, and I don't want to worry him.”

Her three brothers just looked down. Marcus, who was emotional, hugged Rossie and gently rubbed her back. The three of them still remembered Rossie's feud with their father because Rossie chose to be with Bryce.

“I understand. You don't need to worry, Dad isn't mad at you anymore. Even so, we'll do as you say, maybe you guys need some time before you meet again.” Dominic said again.

Rossie nodded, but that didn't mean she would let Lily off the hook. Rossie looked back at her hand, which Ethan had now applied medicine to.

Her thoughts turned to the ruby bracelet her grandmother had given her, which was now broken. Lily had to take responsibility for that.

Meanwhile, Catherine's words had offended all the women in the Johansen and Jones families. They were unhappy that Catherine had spoken for Rossie.

“You naughty girl! Did that village girl pay you? Is she using you as her spy?” Kelly burst into Catherine's room and yelled angrily at her.

“You're such an ungrateful animal! I used to think you were innocent. But you were just biding your time. You were waiting for an opportunity to get out and cause trouble!” she yelled again.

“I—I'm not an animal! I'm not lying. Rossie didn't give me any money. I saw her.” Catherine stammered, her face pale. She hugged her beloved princess doll tightly. “Lily... Lily is a bad girl, she wants to steal Rossie's bracelet and destroy it!”

Catherine almost cried as she said it. She was scared. Since Rossie left this house, the princess doll she had given her was her only friend.

“Enough! How dare you yell at me? I'll teach you a lesson!” Kellu grabbed her sister's soft hair and pulled it hard. She wanted to rip Catherine's scalp off.

“Ah! It hurts! It hurts!”

“Who gave you permission to straighten your hair? Didn't I tell you not to do it? Have you forgotten what I said?” Kelly pulled her younger sister's head back and forth.

This wasn't entirely about Rossie. Her real anger stemmed from that day at the auction house. The man Kelly wanted, Alex, was talking so closely with Rossie that he even spoke for her.

Kelly was very jealous of that, but she couldn't take her anger out on Rossie. Her former sister-in-law was not the same as she had been when she lived with the Johansens, so she took her anger out on stupid Catherine!

“I know what you're planning! Are you really helping that country girl? Or are you pretending to be an innocent angel to seduce Alex?”

“You should realize that Alex Thorne won't be attracted to a stupid and crazy girl like you!”

Tears welled up in Catherine's eyes as his words choked her.

“'You just want to go against our wishes! Because we underestimated Rossie, you decided to help her. All that just because you want to show how special you are! Do you really think you're a hero for doing that? Who would want to listen to a stupid girl like you?”

Kelly showed her hatred for Catherine even more. “Remember! You don't need to seek attention. No one likes you except that village girl! Mr. Thorne will never even look at you! Stop dreaming!”

Kelly continued to yell,, pull Catherine's hair,, and hit her. Catherine continued to cry, and her cries grew louder until a servant came and pulled her awne.

The maid hugged Catherine, who was still crying in fear, and shouted, “Miss Kelly, what are you doing?”

The Johansen family's servants were used to this kind of drama and always disapproved of her behavior toward Catherine. They protected Catherine as much as possible.

“Go away! This is none of your business!” Kelly snapped at her in frustration.

“I think you're the one who should get out of this room!” exclaimed the maid, looking Kelly up and down.

She warned, “If you leave this room now, I'll pretend I didn't see anything. Otherwise, I'll tell Mr. Bryce about how you intimidated Miss Catherine when he gets home!”

Kelly trembled at the thought before gritting her teeth in anger.

If Bryce found out how she had really acted out of control here, he would most likely tell Alex about it. Kelly would definitely have a hard time pursuing Alex if Bryce decided to thwart her.
