Chapter 117 I Love You Romeo

Chapter 117 I Love You Romeo
"I was actually thinking that maybe if we take the product directly to the people, you know hire a salesman, host some sales promotion and make sure the product is being advertised in every single media place possible then we will make our name known that way. After that, we will then take it to the market." a handsome young man in a black suit said as he read through some files in his hand.

Romeo nodded his head softly, letting the idea sit in his mind properly and weighing the possible chances.

He was making a partnership with a starting company, they wanted the Armani name on their product to help catch some big customers in their fishing net.

They were into making on the go meals but they were a small scale company. They wanted to go big after seven years of running under the bridge, it was either to go big or go home and they were not ready to go home. Not yet.

This time, they were making different sizes based on people's pocket and wanted a big name like Armani to help promote their brand. Of course it cost them a fortune but they were ready to pay the dues.

The man who had spoken was Gabriel Kennedy, the owner and founder of on the go foods. He was desperate to make the deal a success and Romeo could see this just by looking into his eyes.

"Mr Kennedy," Romeo said softly after assessing the man sitting adjacent to him. "None of that will be necessary, that is called desperate marketing and anything with the name Armani on it definitely does not need to be marketed desperately.

"When you came to me this morning, I am sure it was because you had faith in me and my family name, where-- if I may ask-- has that courage gone?" His brow arched slightly.

Gabriel's head fell momentarily before he looked back up at Romeo again. "Mr Armani, I am sincerely sorry for how I sound, the thing is just that my company has been struggling for over seven years and it's not that I don't have faith in your name and my product, I just want to make sales."

Romeo's lips curved into a slight smile. "I know and you do not have to worry about that. I have the assurance that even if you make five hundred pieces of each sizes, that is small, medium and large, you will make rapid sales because it is actually a good price for such product and the quality is also there.

"The branding should be very nice is all I can tell you, you should try to make it more presentable than it already is. You have nothing to worry about, I like your business plan. Let us--"

The door pushed open just then and all heads turned towards the petite figure standing there now.

Romeo squinted his eyes, trying to see if he was imagining it all or if Cara was truly standing there by the door.

"Ma'am you really should not go in there!" Romeo's secretary yelled out as she rushed towards Cara. "Ma'am please come with me."

"I told you that it is fine! Romeo I just need to talk to you-- hey let me go!" Cara yelled out at Romeo's secretary who was now holding Cara by the wrist.

"Ma'am--"

"Let her go." Romeo said softly but audibly enough.

The secretary immediately released Cara's wrist from her hand and bowed her head to Romeo.

"You are excused." He said to her and the young lady did not waste any time before giving a deeper bow and walking away from the scene.

Romeo's emerald eyes were now settled on the woman standing by the door. His woman. Cara.

Cara felt a chill run down her spine as their eyes locked. She tried to arrange herself properly and stand straight but she was feeling so drained and exhausted from climbing all of those stairs.

She had also forgotten how sick she was because of her growing baby. But it all came back to her the moment her eyes blurred out for more than a second.

She touched her head and leaned wearily against the door. "Ah..." she groaned softly.

Romeo immediately rose to his feet and started hurrying towards her. "Cara!" He exclaimed worriedly.

She raised a hand in the air to stop him and managed to raise her gaze to meet his worry beaming eyes. "Romeo..." she said so softly. "I am so sorry for the way I acted the other day, things have gone from good to worse ever since our fight and I don't think I could ever survive without you.

"I was wrong to say those things I said to you, I should have never hidden my true worry behind false words. I don't think your family is trying to steal anything from me, you are right, I was being a coward because it is a big deal for me to try to live up to the Armani name.

"It is powerful and strong and fear provoking and those were the things I kept thinking about and not the fact that I am getting married to you and you alone. You are all that should have mattered to me and I was so blind not to have seen that. I don't know if you can ever forgive me for acting out that way because no words will ever be able to amount to express how sorry I am."

Romeo would be lying if he said he was not stunned by the words that were rolling off of her tongue. He stared at her with surprise glowing in his emerald eyes.

But the surprise in his eyes was overshadowed by love and adoration as he stared at her now.

His woman was one of the most thoughtful women on the face of the earth. If she wasn't the first on that list then she would be the second one.

She heaved a heavy sigh and tried to fight back the tears that brimmed in her eyes. "I love you Romeo."

A smile settled on Romeo's face.
