Chapter 233

Zara's POV

Years Later

I stood behind my daughter in the full-length mirror watching her reflection. That look in her eyes and face watching that dress that flow down her body, covering every delicate part of her jet body. That endless sea of deep blue silk dress rolled down her body. With her raven color hair flowing down her back like a wave of the sea. Her grey eyes make her look more outstanding, that was the only thing she got from me, the rest are from Keith.

The resemblance is unmistakable.

Keith wanted to get a stylist for her but I refused, saying I would do it. I know my daughter must be having those nervous butterflies in her tummy and I didn't want her surrounded by strangers to give her more uneasiness

"you sure look like the goddess." I mouthed giving her one last look, she smiled tilting her head to me.

"I know you will say that because I am your daughter." she chuckles giving me a playful eye roll.

"Not biased, I will still say that even if you are just one of the omegas kids." I said adjusting her gown. "gosh, I did a perfect job." I commented still looking at her reflection in the mirror.

"I know you are an amazing stylist." she finally accepted. I smiled, this daughter of mine. Always been stubborn and difficult to appreciate someone's effort. Even though sometimes her way of showing that she like something is an asshole move, it still doesn't change the fact she had a heart of gold.

My nose suddenly picks a scent and knows who that scent belongs to. My daughter tilted her head to the direction the footsteps and scent were coming from. The energy coming from Kiera was enough to consume an entire pack. "Turn it down a bit, you ain't going to burn the entire place." I tease her and she giggles, not taking her eyes off the male, dressed in a black tailored suit. They cling to him in all the right places, making him look more outstanding, the goddess did a nice job this time. She didn't mess up with the mate bond, as if I didn't have to lose a tooth and a foot to make my daughter have her dream come true. A blush curved her cheeks as I cleared my throat.

"I think I will give you two some space." my bright gaze flickers between the both of them. "Don't take too long, you don't want the ruthless alpha to get pissed up." I murmured walking towards the door when I got to her mate, I pick my necklace and gave it to her mate. "you should wear her this."

The moment I shut the door, I knew my daughter's mate was going to scoop her into his hands and kiss her.

The two don't seem to be able to keep their hand off each other. "I missed you." I heard Kiera murmur.

"I missed you too but we can't do this now, you are going to be late for the coronation."

"maybe they could kick off without me," I smirked at her words. Asshole move. On her first day of being declared the queen, she wants to show them that she is the lady boss.

"Not today, I am afraid, I would be held responsible. And I don't want my ass kick."

"I am sure, your daddy wouldn't let them kick your ass." I rolled my eyes, my naughty daughter. I didn't listen to the rest of their conversation, I just walked down the hallway.

The ballroom was filled to the brim. With guards flooded everywhere, they were standing at the windows and doors.

It didn't take long before my little princess walked into the ballroom, her eyes fixed on my mate, her father, I could feel the tension from my mate, Keith was tense but his holding that expression of a deadly alpha.

When my eyes moved back to my daughter, I could see her walking out of her mate's side and walking to her father with her head high up and her shoulder high. She was walking in grace towards her father.

I saw the tension that had clouded his eyes replace with relief, I guess Kiera saw it as well, as she smiled at him. This Coronation wasn't something I thought I could see in my lifetime. Planning this for my daughter was the best gift that the goddess ever gifted to me.

I watch Keith give his speech, this Coronation will change everything for our little girl, an entire pack, and another pack under her leadership but I know she is strong and she is going to be a good leader.

Her eyes tilted to her mate, and I saw him smile at her giving her a thumb, her eyes lit up seeing all the smiling faces. She knows she can do it with us by her side. We are not going to judge her, even if she fails. "I present to you all, the crown alpha queen." The crowd cheered up when the crown for on my little girl's head and my smile brightened watching everyone warm up to her.

Hey, the Alpha King hasn't been crowned yet, we were thinking of doing that after their union, and the pack members and everyone do not know that our little girl had found her mate, probably still thinking the Alpha King position is still vacant.

It would come as a shock for most of them clamoring for that, position. We are not going to rush her mate into accepting the position even Kiera didn't want to give just anyone that position even if it's her mate. She wants to do what is right for our pack and the entire kingdom. I watched as Kiera's eyes frantically darted around the hall till they fell back on her mate and that smile warmed her, I could see her facial color blush as she lowered her gaze, flinching with her fingers like a lovesick puppy forgetting that she is an alpha king now.

I couldn't help but brush at her childish actions, I guess sometimes it's good to forget that we have a weighty responsibility on our shoulders and live a carefree life.

Still watching as the ceremony kept unfolding, I just stood there, enjoying the view but I felt a hand wrapped around me. I relaxed my back into his chest while I basked in his scent and the comfort it brought to me. "You seem more tense than the little flower wearing the crown." Keith teases me, I hit his tummy playfully and he giggles.

"Like you are not more tense than me?" I give him his dose of his medicine.

"A little but not as tense as you." He admitted putting me to face him. I looked at him before his shoulders dropped and then he sighed. "do you think I am burdening my little girl." I shook my head and cupped his face.

"We are not, and Kiera, if she didn't want to protect these wolves, she wouldn't have agreed to it, so don't ever think she doesn't want this, she wanted this, that is the reason she agreed to it and we are here to guide her, that is the reason she had us." He huffed in relief.

"Yes, you are right, we are here to guide her." My eyes move around the pack members, their smiling faces. Not that it will always be calm like this, but we should enjoy the moment of peace and if ever the storm came brewing, we will be here for our little girl. "... Through the storm if ever there is anymore."
