Chapter 86 "Please...Don't Do This To Me"

Chapter 86 "Please...Don't Do This To Me"
"Daniel, please," I sobbed, the last of my anger collapsing into sheer, desperate terror. The tears blinded me, spilling hot and fast down my temples. "Please don't do this to me. I'm begging you. Don't do this."

"Oh, now you're begging?" Daniel scoffed, his face twisting into a mask of bitter resentment as he stood over me with the vial. "How does it feel, Cee? Because I remember begging you. I begged you to look at me, to listen to me, to not let your boyfriend destroy my entire life! And what did you do? You ignored me. You let them ruin me!"

"I didn't know!" I screamed through my tears, my voice breaking painfully. "I didn't know what Cole was doing! Daniel, please, you don't have to do this, just let me go—"
"Shut up! Just shut the fuck up!"

He didn't want to hear it. He didn't care about the truth. I was fucked... He climbed back onto the bed, his heavy knees pinning my thighs once again, crushing the breath right out of my lungs.

"No! Daniel, please!" I shrieked, twisting my head wildly from side to side to avoid him.
But he was too heavy, too strong. He clamped a brutal, iron grip around my jaw, squeezing until my bones ached, forcing my mouth open. With his other hand, he brought the vial down to my lips.

I thrashed against the leather straps, screaming into his palm, but he tipped the glass back. The slick, chemical liquid poured into my mouth.

I tried to spit it out, but he slammed his hand over my mouth and nose, cutting off my air. I gasped, choking violently, the fluid burning down my throat as my lungs desperately fought for oxygen. I swallowed it out of sheer survival, coughing and sputtering against his palm as tears streamed down my face.

"There," Daniel whispered in my ear, his chest heaving as he slowly pulled his hand back, watching me choke and wheeze on the mattress. "Good girl. Now we just wait."

The bitter taste of the liquid burned in the back of my throat, a terrifying countdown ticking away inside my veins. I couldn't think. The room spun, and the raw, suffocating fear completely broke me. I was trapped, pinned under the weight of a ghost from my past, and I didn't know how to survive this.

"Daniel, please..." I sobbed, my voice cracking, entirely stripped of pride. I hated myself for it, but I was so terrified I would have said anything. "Please, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for what happened to you. Just let me go, please. I'll forgive you. We can just forget this, please, Daniel!"

He didn't move. He just sat astride my hips, watching me with a cold, detached fascination that made my skin crawl.
When my begging didn't work, the sheer desperation turned into a wild, frantic venom.

"He's going to kill you!" I shrieked, my voice echoing off the bare walls as I thrashed violently against the leather straps. "Do you hear me, Daniel? Cole will find me! He always finds me! He is going to tear you apart piece by piece for touching me! He will make what he did to your life look like a fucking joke!"

Daniel’s expression didn't change, but his eyes darkened, tracking the tears that ran down into my hair.
"I swear to God, Daniel, let me go before he gets here!" I screamed, alternating between a wild, terrified snarl and a broken wail. "Please... please, Daniel, don't do this. Don't do this to me. Cole... Cole, please..."

After a few minutes, a terrifying heat started to bloom in my chest, rushing through my veins like liquid fire.
No. Please, no.

I tried to fight it, tried to keep my muscles tense, but the drug didn't care. A heavy, artificial warmth washed over me, turning my limbs completely soft and useless against the mattress. It felt like my strength had just dissolved.

The air in the room suddenly felt suffocatingly hot. My heart started hammering against my ribs...not just from the panic anymore, but from the chemical slamming through my system.

My thoughts began to blur and fracture. The reality of Daniel sitting on top of me started to fade behind a hazy, thick fog. Even the cool air hitting the skin exposed by the lacy dress felt weirdly intense and entirely wrong.

My breathing hitched into shallow gasps. I bit my lower lip hard, desperate for the pain to anchor my mind, to remind myself of who he was and what he was doing to me. But my own body was betraying me, slipping away into the drug and leaving me completely helpless beneath him.

The heat pooled lower, traveling straight down to my thighs until my slit grew wet and heavy. My body was getting ready for him, completely overriding my mind, forcing a physical reaction I didn't want and couldn't stop.
God, please.

My own biology began to turn against me, messing with my thoughts. The burning inside was becoming so intense, so agonizingly sharp, that a frantic, desperate voice started whispering in the back of my mind. It told me I just needed to give in. It told me that if I didn't just agree to whatever Daniel wanted, if I didn't let him extinguish it, the heat was going to burn me alive from the inside out.

Daniel leaned down further, his bloodshot eyes scanning my face before traveling down my neck to where my chest was heaving. He noticed the shallow breaths, the flush creeping up my skin, and the way my body was helplessly reacting to the drug.

An ugly, ecstatic grin broke across his face. He looked completely thrilled to see my body reacting sexually.

"You're feeling it, aren't you?" he whispered, his voice shaking with excitement as he shifted his weight directly over me. "I knew it would work. See? Your body knows what it wants, Cee."

He brought his hand up, dragging his knuckles roughly down my cheek, completely blind to the tears still leaking from my eyes.
"Just stop fighting it," he urged, his tone shifting into a sick, pleading coaxing. "Just accept it. For both our sakes. If you just give in, it’ll be over, and we can finally fix what they broke. Just let it happen, Cee."

Before I could even choke out a refusal, he slammed his mouth down onto mine.
The kiss was brutal, tasting like stale sweat and chemicals. Pure disgust cut right through the drug's fog. Get off me, get off me, you disgusting piece of shit.

I screamed into his mouth, a muffled, desperate sound, thrashing my head to tear my lips away from his. I hated him so much in that second it burned hotter than the aphrodisiac, my mind screaming for Cole, for anyone, to just kill him.

Then, mid-kiss, Daniel violently stiffened.
His eyes went wide and totally blank. A sharp, wet choking sound caught in his throat, and all the tension in his muscles vanished. He went completely limp, his entire dead weight collapsing heavily right on top of my chest, pinning me to the mattress.

I couldn't breathe. I blinked through the haze, my heart lunging into my throat as his head rolled uselessly into the crook of my neck, completely knocked out.... no, not knocked out... he was dead... he was really dead.
