Chapter 87 Murder This Kitty!

Chapter 87 Murder This Kitty!
I blinked through the tears and the drug's fog, forcing my eyes toward the doorway.
Cole stood there.
He looked absolutely lethal, his chest heaving, his face frozen in a mask of pure, unadulterated rage. Directly behind him were Jeffery and even Bone, his third in command.

Three of them were holding weapons, their expressions stone-cold.

Cole’s gun was still raised, smoke still whispering from the barrel, pointed straight at the back of Daniel’s skull.
Cole lowered the weapon, his dark eyes locking onto mine, and the fury on his face instantly cracked into sheer panic. He rushed to the side of the bed and grabbed Daniel's body by the collar, violently throwing the bleeding corpse off of me. It hit the floor with a heavy, sickening thud.

"Cole," I sobbed, the dam of my emotions completely breaking. My voice was raw, as I thrashed against the restraints, desperate to reach him. "Cole, oh my god, Cole."

He was on his knees beside the bed in a second, his hands flying over the leather straps, ripping them open with frantic speed. The moment my hands were free, I couldn't even lift them; my arms felt like lead, my whole body trembling violently from the aftereffects of whatever Daniel had forced down my throat.

Cole cupped my face in his hands, his palms warm and grounding against my flushed skin.
"Babygirl, look at me. Look at me, sweetheart," he pleaded, his voice rough and shaking in a way I’d never heard before. He scanned my face, his eyes darting down to the lacy dress, horror flashing through them. "Did he touch you? Did he hurt you? Celene, talk to me, please. What did he do to you?"

I couldn't answer. The words trapped themselves in my throat, choked out by the heavy, suffocating heat still pulsing through my veins and the sheer shock of it all. I just kept crying, my chest heaving as I wept into his palms, calling his name over and over like a lifeline.

The sheer relief of seeing Cole finally broke whatever mental dam I had left, and the second my mind let go, the drug completely took over. The terror vanished, replaced instantly by a wave of intense, blinding heat that crashed through my entire body. Every nerve ending felt like it was on fire.

As Cole frantically unbuckled the straps around my ankles, I didn't care about the room, the blood on the floor, or the dead body. All I knew was the agony of the heat inside me, and Cole was the only thing that could stop it.

"Cole," I whimpered, my voice dropping into a ragged, desperate plea.
The moment my wrists were free, I didn't pull away. I reached out, my trembling hands grabbing at his jacket, pulling him down toward me.

I hooked my fingers into his shirt, desperately trying to drag his mouth to mine.
"Kiss me," I begged against his lips, my breathing shallow and hot. "Cole, please..
Please kiss me. Touch me."

Cole froze, his hands stalling on the final buckle around my ankle. He looked up at me, his eyes wide with a mix of shock and confusion as I arched my back against the mattress, the lace of the dress rubbing agonizingly against my hyper-sensitized skin.

I didn't wait for him to understand. I reached down, grabbing his large, warm hands and trying to drag them up my thighs, whining at the sheer torture of the friction. I needed him on top of me. I needed him to put out the fire Daniel had started...I was completely consumed by a desperate, frantic hunger that was entirely out of my control.

Cole’s hands locked around my wrists, gently but firmly pulling them away from his face. He looked completely thrown off, his brows furrowed in deep confusion.
"Kitten? Hey, look at me," he commanded, his voice tight.

When I just groaned, trying to press my body closer to his heat, he used his thumb and forefinger to pinch my eyelid open. I winced against the harsh light of the bare bulb, but it was enough for him to see. My pupils were blown so wide they completely swallowed the color of my eyes.

"What the hell did he give you?" Cole muttered, the panic in his voice turning sharp and deadly.
He let go of me, and the sudden loss of his touch made me whine, my hips arching off the mattress in frustration. Through the thick haze, I felt him pull away, his heavy boots clicking sharply across the floor toward the wooden chair where Daniel’s bag was.

There was a clatter of glass, and then Cole's voice exploded through the room.
"What is this?!" he roared, a sound of pure, unadulterated fury that made Jeffery and Bone shift at the door.

A second later, the rage died into a sickening, tense silence. When he spoke again, it was a rough, horrified murmur. "Is this...an aphrodisiac?! that fucking piece of shit!!!"
Before I could process the words, the mattress dipped again. Cole was back at my side, his large hand pressing flat against my forehead.

His palm felt like ice against my burning skin, and I immediately tried to lean into it, panting as the heat coiled tighter and tighter inside me.
"Jesus, Kitten," he whispered, his jaw clenched so hard the muscles jumped. "You’re burning up."

"Cole, please," I begged, the words tumbling out of me in a broken, breathless rush. I grabbed at his vest, trying to pull his heavy chest down over mine. "I need you. Please, just touch me. I'm burning... my head...my legs...take it away... take me."

I didn't care about anything else. The heat was twisting into an agonizing knot between my thighs, and my mind was entirely gone, replaced by a desperate, driving need to have him inside me. I arched my back, whining out loud as the lacy dress shifted against my skin. The friction wasn't helping at all... it just made me burn more...

"Fuck," Cole snarled, as I grabbed him tighter...but he didn't give in. He caught both of my wrists in one of his massive hands, pinning them gently but firmly above my head so I couldn't claw at his clothes anymore. Fuck loaf of good that was doing?! I needed to be fucking fucked!!!

He looked down at me, his dark eyes blazing with a mixture of raw agony and terrifying violence. He wasn't looking at me with desire, which really pissed me off...
He just kept lookind at me like he was watching me suffer...

"I'll kill him again," Cole roared, his voice shaking the bare walls of the room as he glanced toward the bloody heap on the floor. "I should have taken my time killing that fucking buffoon. I should have made him scream for what he did to you!"

"Cole, listen to me, please..." I sobbed, entirely deaf to his rage, completely consumed by the drug. Why the fuck was he so angry... I needed him...

I thrashed against his grip, trying to wedge my knee between his thighs. "Don't look at him. He's dead! Look at me. I'm burning up, Cole, please, just do it!"

"Kitten, stop. Look at me, sweetheart, it's the drug," he pleaded, his voice breaking as he used his free hand to cup my burning cheek, his thumb brushing away my tears. "Goddammit, I'm going to kill him all over again..."

"Stop talking about murdering him and murder this kitty!!!"
